Staff was friendly but service was a bit slow.
We dined on a Friday night and it was quiet.
We ordered the Fire Chicken with cheese, which comprises of seaweed seasoned rice, cheese and pineapples and chilli chicken. It was shared between two people and it was very filling, delicious and tasted very authentic.
Ordered some food from Kimcheese via Ubereats tonight. We got the fried boneless chicken, the chicken bulgolgi with cheese, the mini kimchi pancakes and the japchae.
The fried boneless chicken was delicious and very crispy - it was coated in panko crumbs and was seasoned well (had a slight dusting of cheese powder and seaweed powder) - we were given pickled radish and a sweet chilli sauce to dip the chicken into. It was delicious!
The japchae was average - it wasn’t oily at all which was great and the noodles were cooked well and were not soggy but there wasn’t enough flavour in the noodles.
The mini kimchi pancakes were my favourite - they were thin, packed with kimchi, flavourful and spicy. Yum!
The chicken bulgogi and cheese came with white rice and a salad. The chicken was tender, flavourful and was covered in melted cheese. Yummy!
All in all a great meal and I will not hesitate to dine in with them next time.
I had a delivery from Kimcheese the other night.
And I was so happy with my pork cutlet. The breadcrumbs and sauce is matching and it was still crispy after all. I will def order this menu again from here.
I had Pork Bulgogi the other day, the potion was enough for one person and the food was quite close to authentic Korean food except the sauce for the meat was a bit too sweet and not spicy enough. However for the price I paid, I am quite satisfied.
Good business, if you want a small quick fix of Korean food that's not so expensive, then Kimcheese is a good option. It's small but the chef/owner does a pretty good job. I always love coming to this place when I'm craving some kimchi seafood stew
Consistently good food and a great place for modern Korean. Eventually you'll find yourself craving the special fried chicken like I did, I highly recommend it. Beef bulgogi was good, but bimbimbop a little mediocre compared to other places. But overall, a great place to dine.
Kimchi Soup and Korean Fried Chicken.. so good and the food was fresh, also services were great and friendly. For sure, I will tell friends to visit and I'll come back.

Craving for Korean and decided to check in at this place. It was a bit quiet when we stepped in weekend lunch hour but don't let that deter you! Dishes were prepared on the spot after ordering. Kimchi stew was ok but the seafood stir fry is great, with a sauce that's both sweet and salty. Will return to try other dishes. Owner and waitress are attentive and friendly. (Update of review 21 Jan 2018: Kimcheese is now serving naengmyeon or chilled Korean noodles during summer. Very refreshing when the mercury hits 39 degrees.)
Really good place for modern Korean! It's been our go to place for comfort food the last year or so! Friendly staff, and top notch food. Definitely recommended!
We came here for our lunch today. Highly recommend this Korean restaurant. We ordered seafood pancake, beef, spicy pork and stewed kimichi soup. The food are yummy and we can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The owner is very friendly. We love all the dishes and definitely come back again!
The service is good and the new spicy cheese chicken is the best! It's well presented, huge in volume and comes heated in a gas heater stove. The best?

The food is very tasty and cooked fresh. I have had the sweet potato steak and stir fried seafood both have been delicious. The staff here are very friendly and polite.

On my many visits to Kimcheese, I have tried many of their dishes! Since I live in the area, this is a good take away place for me as well. My favourite dishes are the bulgogi lunch boxes and the seafood pancake is amazing as well! They're delivering now as well, which is great news cause winter is cominggggg!
Amazig food in bentleigh east. First try here and food was much better than our expactation. Chicken lunch box was delicious and cheap only $9.5 comes with drink. Japchae(sweet potato noodle) was one of the best I've had in melbourne. We will be back again for sure. Well done kimcheese.
Amazing Food! Absolutely love the Spicy Chicken, the kimchi pancake, kimchi fried rice and the bulgolgi. Everything is fresh and delicious. The honey pancakes are amazing too!
I really enjoyed the food here. The bibimbob looked fresh and was flavoursome, and the bulgogi was in particular very very tasty. The seafood pancake was not as large and doughy as at some Korean restaurants, but was cooked well and did not disappoint. The owner is friendly. My only criticism if comparing to other Korean restaurants is that the side dishes could be more/better. But overall, a delightful place to eat.
Great authentic Korean food! Came here after hearing about the lunch special and they didn't fail to deliver. Plus there was only one chef running the place at the time - impressive.

I was very impressed with the friendly service, ambience and Delicious Food. I bought Japchae today and totally loved it. I'm so glad that this restaurant is so close to my house, I'm definitely gonna be a regular customer here :)

Great little Korean restaurant, we come here often for the great priced lunch box. Pork chicken and beef are all amazing and is borderline top korean restaurant quality. Kim chi pancake fell apart a bit but was still tasty. Go for the lunch box. Won't be disappointed
Fantastic Korean in East Bentleigh. My wife and I ate here on a Saturday lunchtime, about a week after opening. We shared a plate of the dumplings and the beef bulgogi.
The dumplings were some of the better one's we've had, and were perfectly cooked (crispy/brown on one side). The beef bulgogi used good quality beef (no fatty bits), and was very tasty. It came with rice and a refreshing salad.
Based on those two dishes, the quality of food here, surpassed anything else we've had in the area (including Carnegie). Looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu.
Owners are also extremely friendly!
I love Kimcheese!. Friendly, cheerful hosts, delicious, nutritious food and very low prices - all within walking distance from home. What's not to love? I'll be back again and again.

Pork Bulgogi is very good. $9.5 for the lunch special is quite a bargain. However, it takes too long for them to prepare food. I will definitely come back for its spicy chicken with cheese on sizzling plate.

Excellent food and service, has my favourite Korean fried chicken. They maintain high level of performance, so far never had any disappointing experience.
