Went here for the first time and really enjoyed the breakfast menu.the smashed pumpkin with spinach and haloumi was Devine. The pumpkin bread was delicious and very generous serving. The mushroom with wasabi and eggs were delicious too. Something different to your usual eggs on avo and toast.
I was a bit disappointed with my soy latte as I preferred bonsoy milk but they clearly don’t use it there.
Will be back again.

Little Tommy Tucker is bringing home all sorts of yum! Not my first time visiting, and definitely won't be my last. With an appealing menu that's bound to cause you a mild panic attack because you suddenly feel the need to order everything, my partner and I settled on what we knew best - the sweet stuff for me, and a burger for him.
The cookies & cream hotcakes were hot, hot, hot! Soft, fluffy hotcakes studded with so many pieces of Oreo, and topped with Oreo crumbs and a whole Oreo, I'm guessing half a packet went into making this. A trail of fresh fruits accompanied the hotcakes, lessening the guilt and increasing the deliciousness. For a spot of indulgence, a dollop of caramel sauce takes the flavour up another notch. A 10 out of 10!
The Wagyu beef burger was a juicy and meaty beast, but was it extraordinary? I don't think so when my partner took over the task of finishing my hotcakes. In saying that, there's no denying that the burger was a flavour bomb. It's hard not to be when it consisted of smokey BBQ sauce, tomato relish, sliced beetroot and pickled red onions and cucumber. The whole spectrum of tastes was in attendance. The only let down was the roasted potatoes - it was rather muted in flavours, and a bit soggy.
We couldn't fault our coffee at all. The skinny lattes were strong, smooth and a pleasure to drink. Also a pleasure was the warmth and friendliness extended by the staffs there. A great place this one!

Very popular and busy place but the attentive and friendly staff will efficiently have you seated in no time. We ordered the Sautéed chicken livers and Grilled halloumi and smash pumpkin and spinach and both were so delicious! The chicken liver was a generously huge portion. Coffee was excellent and we loved their tea timer concept. Will definitely be back to try others off the menu.

It's nice to be able to review a cafe whereby no bad incidents happened. Lord knows, that's rare sometimes.
It was quite by accident/chance that we came here. I saw something on Instagram from here that took my fancy, and wouldn't you know it, when we sat down to order, I couldn't find the picture again so didn't even order that (I know; screenshot it next time).
Instead, I ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon on a potato rosti, pickled red cabbage and poached eggs and Harissa hollandaise. It really was good. MAYBE if I were to be fussy, I'd say the potato rosti was just a fraction over done, but that's splitting hairs.
The staff were friendly, the food came out fast, and it was really good. They do sell little cakes and muffins etc to either eat in or take out. I must say, not all looked appealing, but there was a great variety.
Parking could be an issue at busy times. The council seem to think that by taking away parks, it "beautifies" the street. Uh, not so much. But if you go for breakfast early enough, it's a good spot. I highly recommend eating here. The breakfast is all day and there looks like a good lunch menu as well. Perhaps that's what I'll go for next time!

Lovely little brunch place in Bentleigh with delightful service. I came here with my family on a Sunday lunch time and even though there was no room inside, they kindly put down the shades when it got too sunny outside. We ordered an eggs benedict with slow cooked lamb which was a delicious combination of sauces and tender meat. The fish cakes were also splendid, but not too overfilling, perfect for small appetites. The cured salmon with beets was my favourite, it had all the right flavours working together. Absolutely loved this place and am keen to come back soon !

Feel like it passed it best time which is couple year ago but it is still the best place when you consider a nice decent place for brunch. Good old coffee, fresh and nice presentable food.

We ordered the wagyu beef burger with chips. The burger fell apart but, it was fresh and I now know why a knife and fork were provided. The chips were slightly roasted cut potatoes (not crispy) but, it shouldn’t matter as the burger is rather filling.
We also had the chilli scrambled eggs with extras. It was a delicious meal and the serving size was huge.
Second time being here. Unfortunately the first time was disappointing as the mushroom bruschetta was soggy and didn’t taste great, but this time- I had the Hotcakes and they were amazing!! The staff was lovely as well!
Me and my friend stumbled across this popular brunch place in Bentleigh and it did not disappoint. Both of us ordered Benedict (one Beef brisket and one salmon) because we were hungry and this dish has always been our it-won’t-go-wrong dish in every restaurant.
The portion is smaller compared to other Benedict I’ve tried in the past, however that being said, these were very filling and just right. It tasted delicious and the creator of the dish puts a lot of thoughts into it. I loved my Beef Brisket Benedict, the meat melted in my mouth and my friend loved her salmon (although it’s a bit too smokey for me).
I also ordered juice of the day (it had strawberries, kiwi and something else) - my lord this juice made my day and went so well with the dish. It tasted super refreshing and delicious. My friend ordered flat white and she said it was good.
Would definitely be back again!
What a great find! Friday afternoon - 1.30pm and we headed in for a lateish lunch. The place was packed. There was a table for us right outside the kitchen. Great service - quick and polite! The all day menu was substantial and lunch menu suitable! Food was awesome. One friend had the antipasto platter, another the barramundi fish cakes and I had the burger, without the bun!! Gosh - so good! We stayed on talking even after the bill was paid and no-one bothered us! Will definitely be back!
Fantastic food and service! Best I’ve had in a while. Calamari salad and pasta of the day with Moroccan chicken were both absolutely awesome in terms of taste and value. Substantial portions. I’m not sure why this place had an empty table for us! Will definitely be back.

Third time trying this place, and it’s my new favorite. First, the coffee is always good and the barista very knowledgeable and friendly. Second, the staff are the most respectful and attentive I’ve encountered in the southeast cafes, and the food comes out quickly. But third and very importantly, the food is so darn good. My favorite so far is the Grilled Haloumi with Pumpkin, with a taste explosion in the black garlic aioli smear. The fish cakes are nice too and also have the black garlic aioli. The place has a welcoming vibe, and they have a special place to accommodate prams. I love how customer focused they are.
We both loved our breakfast - my mum had eggs on pumpkin smash with sourdough & grilled halloumi which was very generous and cooked to perfection. I had the hot cakes which were also a generous size and really beautiful. I loved that there was more than enough topping for both pancakes. Coffee was spot on but most of all the service was a 10/10. Really lovely staff and super helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

Down a busy street in Bentleigh, tucked in and amongst your mum and pop shops, is a brilliant cafe by the name of Little Tommy Tucker!. First up, the cafe has plenty of space and sticks to your usual brunch layouts and decor. Nothing spectacular in that sense but the food was off the charts so let's make a start on the review!
Great coffee and good ambience, always like to drop by and grab a quick coffee, it will never disappoint you. This place is alway busy, but they are still very organised and serving quality food and coffee.
Points for: those fish cakes are a winner.
A really good menu with a lot of fresh variety.
The potato latkes is like a potato bake/cake, surprisingly light and not heavy at all. Goes really well with the salmon and the slaw. It's a refreshing dish.
The barramundi fish cakes were exactly what I imagined it to be. Loads of flakey fish brought together with herbs and fried to a nice crust. The poached egg on top gives it another level of richness. I really liked this dish!
Coffee was also nice and strong, and is expected of a modern cafe.
I’m fussy with coffee but they never disappoint with consistency and strength. My wife has the Chai Latte and says it’s one of the best she has had.

I had the mushrooms on toast and my husband had the crumpets. As much as i lovvvved the mushrooms, the crumpets looked so good, I wanted to trade, and they tasted phenomenal! The prana chai was good too!
Your typical eastern suburb cafe. Decor is modern and the staff attentive and super friendly. Ordered the halloumi and pumpkin and was very impressed. My date ordered the eggs Benedict that had a good twist - lamb, and we were both delighted.

We went to this cafe for brunch on Sunday. It seems busy but our food came out pretty quickly. The oreo hot cake is delicious and sweet. The patty of wagyu burger is big and we really loved the baked potato!
I only had half a hour for a quick lunch and was promised I'd be able to finish my brekkie in that time. Coffee was aromatic. Eggs Benedict was lovely indeed- esp with the pulled pork and hollandaise sauce. However the toasted sourdough was too charred on the edges and was hard to chew. The patrons at the next table must have thought the same as they left the edges uneaten. Overall a good experience.

Immediate friendly service as soon as we walked in. Food was fresh, beautifully presented and well considered combination of flavours (avocado with beetroot relish on pumpkin sourdough with almonds). They were happy to make an amendment due to my vegetarian status. Prices were reasonable. Accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Would certainly recommend Little Tommy Tucker.
Enjoyed the quinoa & kale salad here - nice and refreshing with the crunchiness of the almond bits, crispiness of the kale, which balanced really well with the dried cranberries and beet reduction. The chocolate milkshake was a bit runny and too sweet for my liking.
I’d been itching at the bit to get to Little Tommy Tucker and I finally got around to getting there! Food was incredible and fresh! I ordered the sticky, Oreo hot cakes which were incredible and served with a coconut 🥥 ice cream 🌴 ! However, I do think the staff might have been overwhelmed today as they seemed a bit abrupt and curdled my soy cap (which ended up being a soy latte as there must have been a bit of miscommunication between myself and the waitress as I was ordering). Food was lovely here. Really enjoyed the lamb breakie dish. My mum enjoyed her latte. I ordered an almond milk latte which was on the sour side. I really wish they had Milk Labs almond milk as it tastes so much smoother & doesn’t separate like regular almond milk. The staff were very friendly. Will be back for the food, hopefully they improve their almond lattes :)
We ordered wild mushroom bruschetta and organic quinoa. They are all nice and balanced. The beetroot relish adds color to the dish and match well with purple quinoa.
I am in love with this place! I start coming here more often as my sister lives on centre road now! Such a gorgeous cafe on centre road. Great service, Atmosphere, and decor. Personally myself, im so hard to cater for as I don’t eat eggs, bacon... etc. for breakfast. And I rarely get the same thing. But ever Since this cafe made a meal all about mushroom medley on toast with grated apple, almonds and balsamic vinegar. I haven’t looked back. Every time I go it’s spot on every time. I just hope they don’t take it off the menu cause it’s my FAVOURITE 💜

Stumble across this beautiful little cafe a while ago and was very impressed with the food and service! The pesto scrambled eggs were divine and the house cured trout was delicious...perfect place for brunch on a cold winters day!
Third time here, halloumi dish is excellent! Lots of nice dishes on the menu. Coffee is inconsistent, recent trip here, both coffees were incredibly burnt that we couldn't even drink it and I had to wash the taste of the coffee granules out of my mouth with a glass of water.

I really like the ham hock benedict here. The ham hock is smoky and tender and unique. Unfortunately one of the waiters was quite rude: my friend is vegetarian and we were asking him what dishes we could order and he got annoyed with me saying that there were different types of vegetarian, some can eat eggs and some can't and we have to be more specific. Did not appreciate the attitude so will not be back.
Clearly, one of the best cafes in Bentleigh and surrounding suburbs. I've been a customer since its first opening years ago and I still enjoy my experience here. From friendly staffs, good food, and great coffee... it all makes Little Tommy Tucker a great cafe and no doubt it has been popular among locals and foodies. Despite visiting on a gloomy Wednesday afternoon, Little Tommy Tucker was still bustling with customers, nonetheless we were seated instantly by the window. We ordered the Chicken and Mushroom Soup w/ sourdough bread from the specials board and the Quinoa and Kale Salad w/ smoked salmon on the side . Both were exception in presentation and taste. However, if being nit picky, there were a one or two things to be faulted. We were seated by the window (which was no issue), however there was another diner on the other side (outside) right up against the glass. Another person less than a centimetre in glass away was slightly strange and uncomfortable. We also felt pressured to order quickly but this may have been due to it being busy (which is understandable), but it does take away from the customer's experience if they want to take the time to chat before making a decision. Despite the above, the staff were friendly and food was served in no time at all. Can't wait to come back soon.
Absolutely amazing service, perfect coffee and lovely atmosphere. The food was fresh and the menu was current - absolutely would return, hopefully to sample EVERYTHING on the menu.
I had quite a few mishaps here but they were handled very professionally and therefore they deserve a decent mark as we all make mistakes, it's how we try to rectify them that means the most.
The drinks were great and the food matched. The mushroom plate was very delicious and it all worked quite well. The scrambled eggs need more spice as there was no kick from the chilli and the haloumi side was quite a let down - I've had much better.
All in all, the place was very busy but we were seated with hardly any wait time. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great.

We were heading back towards the city via Bentleigh and whilst in the area we had the perfect opportunity to dine at the local hot spot; Little Tommy Tucker. This place is so popular especially on weekends, there is a wait to get a table in peak times but it’s worth it. We were happy to sit outside in the sun (and under the heaters!) so we got a table almost straight away.
Inside, they make the most of the long and narrow space. There is booth seating on one side, and half booth seating on the other with a communal table at the back. Neutral walls of white and wood with splashes of green thanks to some lovely indoor plants.
Being a morning person, I am always tempted by all day breakfast menus. We were pushing a 2pm sitting this time though so I thought I best go with “something lunchy”.
Dining out with the family means I get to try all the things! I ordered the wild mushroom bruschetta. All the flavours work so well together. Soft mixed mushrooms on fresh toasted rye, the interesting addition of crisp apple and crunch of toasted almonds with a side of runny yolk and spicy togarashi coated avocado. The turmeric latte dusted with cinnamon went down a treat with this.
Next up I got to try the Halloumi pumpkin spinach smash. A base of pumpkin sourdough, topped with mushy pumpkin, sautéed spinach, a wedge of salty halloumi, soft poached eggs on side and a sprinkle of dukkah spices and dots of sticky black garlic aioli with a zing of lemon. A Dukes coffee cappuccino on the side with Darth Vader latte art (we assumed, what do you think?!) made my partners day – kudos to the talented barista!
The kidlet enjoyed scrambled pesto eggs with a side of feta and avocado. Had never thought to put pesto with eggs before; this one is already a new favourite of ours to make at home with basil from our garden!
For vegan options, there are a few dishes where you can omit items or ask for alternatives. Just ask the easy going staff for help. Other vegetarian options on the winter menu include:
*Organic oat and chia porridge with poached pear, coconut crumble, dehydrated raspberries and orange caramel syrup
*Sticky date hotcakes with orea crumb, fresh fruit, butterscotch sauce and ice cream
*Organic quinoa salad with kale, cranberries, peas, almonds, feta, beetroot relish and soft boiled egg.
They also feature a beautiful display of varying daily treats on the counter including cakes, friands, a selection of muffins and cupcakes plus vegan protein balls – all house made.
Named after a nursery rhyme, it makes sense that this is a popular spot for those with kids and they have a menu for the little tuckers too.

First time I had chai latte was years ago in Sydney visiting friends, and I loved it ever since. Trust me.. . Little Tommy Tucker on Centre Road in Bentleigh has one of the best chai’s.. I have ever had. Well, personally, I really love fresh spice chai with soy milk, even though I’m normally not a fan of soy. If you feel like something light, you can also go for their grilled calamari salad. It doesn’t just look good and healthy but has great taste. Or, if you have sweet tooth, a piece of caramel slice or a muffin would make you say “yummy”!

Porridge was delicious even though I paid an extra $2 for almond milk. The staff were friendly but I was very disappointed that I was charged.50 extra for a mug of hot water so I could make my coffee as weak as I like. I asked for an expresso with a mug of hot water on the side. I don't think I want to go back because of their pettiness
We really like this place. Great (seriously really really good) coffee and food. Service is friendly, efficient and fast. Never disappointed us everytime we are there. It gets really busy during the weekend but their quality of service, food and coffee are consistently good.
Came here for lunch. Ordered a salad with chicken and no peas. The salad came out and the chicken was extremely over salted so had to send back. Then the salad came out with peas... the staff sorted the issue quickly and were nice. Might of just been an unfortunate visit, will check it out again.
Love the quinoa salad ! The eggs are organic and the mix of kale, nuts, feta and dressing make this a delicious meal. I think they could improve the side salmon- don't like the brand they use and the chicken not a fan either. In my opinion the salad doesn't need a side - delicious on its own.

It can be hard to be a stand-out cafe in Melbourne due to the many different trendy cafes out there - but this little cafe will for sure be one that we will revisit! The organic quinoa salad really hit the spot with its kale, cranberries, peas, almonds, feta, beetroot relish and a soft boiled egg. We recommend adding the smoked Tasmanian salmon which really ties the whole meal together.

Pretty hard to fault this fine establishment. Service was quick, attentive and pleasant. Coffees were spot on at perfect drinking temp and beautiful. Food serving size was just nice imho and ingredients fresh and delicious. Ambience is welcoming with beautiful plants and little quirks like wall decor. I like that the sound didn't bounce off walls so you're not constantly shouting at each other to be heard. Quite delighted with our brunch there today. We will be back.

This cafe is right up there with the trendy cafes in Richmond and Fitzroy. The seasonal menu is delicious and expansive, with heaps of great lunch options! The food is fresh and beautifully presented - we both enjoyed our beef burgers very much. The venue itself and the decor is hip and stylish. The table service is also just the right amount of attentiveness. The coffee has got to be some of the best in town too, although a bit on the light side so order a strong :)

Definitely my go to when I am in the area. Have been numerous times, and never fails to disappoint. Always a smile at the door, never have to fight for a table (it's busy, but no long lines!) The fitout is cute, and the menu is on point. Eggs Benedict is spot on, and the grilled calamari is a great healthy lunch option. Coffee is from Dukes, I believe, and it is always perfect.
Such a cute looking cafe love the timber style! Acknowledged straight away and seated. Wasnt a fan of the coffee unfortunetly for it to get a 5! Vegan pancakes were so light and fresh presented well. Great menu was a hard choice. Ill be back for sure...
This is my favorite local cafe! The staff are genuinely great and accommodating. The food is top notch - I can't wait to try their new menu. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
If your menu states 'eggs', one would presume that means more than one egg. And if the waiter says 2 slices of toast, then you should provide 2 and not one and a half. When the waiter asked you 'how was your meal?' And you tell them 'the beans were too sweet', don't tell the customer 'well, I like it'. Really? We aren't paying to please the waiters pallet. Where do these waiters get trained?
I wanted to try another local in Bentleigh and I was so happy with Little Tommy Tucker!
The service is great and our meals came out less than ten minutes from ordering them, considering that the café was full!
My friend got Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with an added Avocado. She said she loved it.
I ordered the Barramundi Fish Cakes and I loved every mouthful! The salad was fresh and had nuts for texture. The fish cakes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The eggs — perfectly poached. A perfect meal!
The coffees were also strong and delicious!
My friend literally repeated a few times that we must definitely come back to try other stuff from the menu!

I started to notice this place from Instagram. And whenever I walked pass it, they were always busy, hence, made me really want to try. I went there two weeks ago and had an amazing food! My partner loves his egg Benedict, and I enjoyed my simple herb scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms. The coffee was delicious too!! So, we decided to go there again last week. Ate the same exact thing 🤣
She is not a quinoa salad person, but this dish nailed it~that's not what she expect, fresh but full of flavour.

the owners may have changed a few times as i haven't been back in awhile but they still had friendly service and courteous staff along with delicious meals/drinks.
Got two cups of coffee from Little Tommy Tucker. The barista was making every cup with patience. Nice coffee and service!
Freshest seafood pasta and the most amazing coffee.
Service was excellent, and everyone adhered to current regulations (masks on properly, distances kept).
Food here is always fantastic, would recommend for a breakfast/brunch to anyone who enjoys a good meal.
