A nice little cafe set amongst the Bentleigh shops. Very busy on a Sunday morning but we got a table straight away.
Iced Nutella was great, very sweet and loved the extra Nutella lining the glass.
Zaatar Chips were a bit average, the seasoning mostly just tasted like oregano but there was plenty of the seasoning and the aioli was nice.
The Acai Bowl was wonderful, not too bitter and with a very generous serve of tasty granola.
Service was a little basic, we weren't really checked on or asked if we wanted any more drinks after we lingered once our meals were cleared. Not bad service but just something to note.

I’ve been to this place twice now. The first time I ordered a meal that is only available on Tuesdays called “housemade hummus”. The friendly waitress advised that everything in this meal is vegan which is a big plus for me.
The second time I had “malabi pana cotta” requested vegan.
It would be great to see them upload their new menu here on Zomato as there are a few items which have been taken off the version that is on here.
The coffee and the food were good. But, like most busy cafes, it was too noisy to enjoy my coffee in peace. I think I am getting old if I am complaining about the noise level 😁 I would go there again.

I was recommended this place for brunch by a colleague who said it was very good. We came on a busy Saturday morning and waited in line for a table. The front of house was very good, he reassured us that he would be arranging a table for us shortly and he did. We only waited about 10 minutes. We ordered the potato latke dish and the haloumi smashed avo. As the cafe was packed with people we waited about 40 minutes for our food. We didn’t mind as we were sipping on our smoothie and coffee as we waited. The waitress came out to apologise to say that our food would be here soon as the kitchen was very busy. We appreciated the gesture.
When the food came boy was it worth the wait! The potato latke was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The smoked salmon on top paired perfectly with the fresh herbs and tzatziki and the poached egg had a beautiful runny yolk. What a genius dish!
The smashed avo came with an assortment of cherry tomatoes and on top of one slice of toast (excellent as we prefer one instead of two slices - one is easier to eat) and again the egg was poached beautifully - a fresh and delicious dish.
The coffees were aromatic and beautifully made.
This place is definitely a place to keep coming back to!
I'm a man who loves some nice Shrooms for Brunch and this place does a brilliant job of it. My go to is the Mushroom Chorizo Bruschetta. The place is pretty compact and wait can be a bit long. However, the service is amazing. Once, they mixed up our orders and in return they gave us complementary donuts. Not bad

I wanted something very soft to eat so I chose the porridge for lunch. It was very delicious, not too sweet at all, with the sesame biscuits as perfect touch.
The iced Nutella was delicious although a little disappointing as it’s a little too milky for me. Service was very efficient, friendly and helpful too.
Definitely a recommend from me.
Love love the middle eastern element to all the breaky dishes here. So many added to my wish list - am coming back for you waffles and chicken shawarma.
This time around Had the Zataar eggs and the Chorizo and Ham bruschetta.
The eggs were delish - served with a generous serving of mustardy tomato relish and hummus - ten on ten for flavour. The bruschetta was okay however the goat cheese foam that cane with it was incredible.
Only negative - the coffee came excruciatingly slowly to our tables. Four coffees were ordered- and they were served one by one to us - each being served after every 5 minutes!
Lovely little coffee shop. Very exciting menu with a twist. Coffee is always nice and the relaxed friendly atmosphere makes it an easy choice as a venue to frequent in a strip full of cafes. The window dressing is inviting and often leads to a purchase away from the menu, which is a great alternative when you want a snack with your takeaway.
Delicious breakfast, with a wide selection of tasty middle eastern dishes (in addition to traditional cafe food) which differentiates Boosa from other cafes.

Boosa is a busy little cafe right in the centre of Bentleigh along Central Road. The cafe is always full of people but service is friendly and turnover is fast. Their menu is quite interesting, not just the usual staples of cafe brunch dishes. They serve a range of juices on their weekly specials as well. Food is above average. I particularly like the pumpkin dish which is paired with a refreshing mix of quinoa and promagranate salad.
Love this cafe... friendly, helpful staff & the food is always great! The haloumi smashed avocado dish is absolutely delicious & I would go back for it time and time again! They do an amazing hot chocolate as well! The decor in this place is absolutely beautiful.

Very welcoming cafe on Centre rd. Place looks great and the staff were very attentive. Great little spot to chill out and enjoy a coffee. My strong latte was perfect - and that is saying something as a lot of places don’t get it right! I’ll be back to try the food out!

Food comes out quickly and service is quick. Menu is creative and the food is nicely presented. Plates are a good size but they have recently changed their menu which I don't think is as good as it was before.

Came here with a friend for lunch and really enjoyed my experience. I ordered the smoky lamb burger and my friend ordered the halva dream with a latte. The burger was delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly and the smoked chips were excellent - I loved how they presented them to you by lifting up the glass cover to let out the smoke. The halva dream dish was really tasty and not too sweet. The coffee, however, wasn't strong enough for me. Both meals were presented very well. I thought the customer service was satisfactory and would definitely recommend.
My absolute favourite local cafe! The service is truly exceptional (they take the time to get to know you, your order and will stop to have a chat if they see you out and about) and the coffee is outstanding. The food in unique and flavoursome, and so pretty on the plate. And if they offer you a donut, do not turn it down - you won't find a better one!
A very positive experience at Boosa today. I recommend if you are in Bentleigh to check this place out. The staff have a happy disposition, they are attentive, kind, and it is clear that they care about the customer experience. Today I met Ana & Eli who were both wonderful to interact with, my baby Valentina was also happily accommodated. I can't speak for the food, as today was a coffee and treat kind of an afternoon, but I was very content with both. Today I stumbled on Boosa by mistake, next time it will be deliberate. Thanks guys! Super friendly wait staff that were willing to engage in banter and a bit fun; ultimately made this experience a winner! 👏🏻 Boosa provide a lot of alternative takes on some middle-eastern gems 💎 and proved themselves on point when we went! I ordered the ‘Halva Dream’ French toast and I was not disappointed! For the price point, I received so much amazing food and could not even finish the entire dish (unlike me) because of the decadence and ingredients included!
With an average price point of $22 for the entire meal including coffee ☕️ I highly recommend Boosa as an awesome local stop off for a fun Sunday brunch experience! 👌🏻👌🏻

My friend & I went there for brunch , I like the interior design , clean & modern. I have to say , the service is EXCELLENT! The staff asked us few times about the food , we did give her our feedback about the food , she then went to the kitchen ,came out & told us she’s already told the chef which indicated they treat their customers seriously ,not many restaurants will provide the same service like this one does . Food is reasonably good ,except the meat is a bit dry for my liking .
Nice cafe along Centre Road. Vibrant and busy atmosphere which is great for a cafe. Had the Cauliflower Power (vegetarian version) and the Potato Latkes with Smoked Salmon (special for the day). Food was pretty and beautifully presented. Flavours were clean. Loved the batons of cauliflower hash and thought they were tasty and unique. Blend of middle eastern flavours worked into the food on the menu but would love to taste more of what's being presented in flavour. Staff and owner were very friendly and engaging with patrons which is great.
Boosa is one of my favourite cafes in the area. The coffee is consistently good and food and milk shakes are great too. I usually have the panacotta Style Malabi which is light and delicious. The staff and interior are nice but it can get very noisy.

My partner and I went there for breakfast - I had the smashed avo. Quite nice but lacked seasoning but beautiful pink salt on the table and cracked pepper which I added. Toast could have done with a scraping of butter or even a small pat on the side like my partner had with his bacon and egg but in saying that not a minus I just love butter!! I would have liked 2 eggs maybe because everywhere else you order this dish you always get 2.
Great tea - yes it was made with leaves a big plus if you read my other reviews.
Only downside is it is very noisy - not sure how they can fix that. So many things on the small menu I would love to try so we will be back.
Since returned and my açai bowl was just beautiful. Still noisy but the food is fantastic. All the dishes that come out look beautiful and so well presented. Changing my rating to a 4 and this place is in my top 3 for brunch!!!

The service was great and genuine and the dish was a good portion size too. Although if you are looking for creativity and something a little different this dish is very basic. Also very sparse on the goats cheese and pomegranate seeds.
Cute, clean and modern cafe on Centre Rd with a Middle-Eastern menu. It was packed when we arrived at 12pm but the wait was short, and we were quickly seated and ordered coffees on a cold, spring day.
Coffees are alright, not the best I've had- but it does the job! The food is delicious here, with great portion sizes. Hubby went with the smashed avo, with dukkah, pomegranate and bacon. I went with the chorizo bruschetta, goats cheese labneh
Food was delicious and presented well, but service was a bit slow at times so don't come if you're in a rush. The only other thing I'd add is that I wish the staff smiled a bit more? Sounds strange but some of them looked like they wished they were anywhere but at Boosa. Hoping they were just having an off day because I would like to try more of the menu!
This place is really good. Went here with no expectations and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. Have the smoked lamb and you will know what I mean. Price was fair, taste is really good. It pays to be adventurous and try some of the different things on the menu. The waiters were nice and eager to please. The coffee is great as well, but, do expect a little wait time.
If you sit three people at a table against the wall, ask for a proper chair, otherwise you will get a really low stool. Aside from those small things, it is really good. I will be back to eat my way through the menu.
Came here on a Saturday morning after wanting to visit this place for a while. The interior is bright and roomy. The downside here is that it's very noisy. Chatting, coffee machines, blenders and music made it quite loud.
The coffee was just average. Unfortunate for such a nice cafe.

The geniuses behind Caulfield's 'Einstein's' restaurant have done it again but with more refinement and skill than before. I love the French style to the layout of the restaurant and the Israeli-inspired food. highly recommend the chorizo bruschetta and the pumpkin happiness which were delicious and beautifully presented. Coffee from Five Senses is consistently amazing especially the batch brew. Boosa is a gem in the bentleigh area, highly recommend!
The menu is a mix of lighter options and more substantive lunch choices. I was tempted by the brioche French toast with chocolate and halva but I got distracted by the view of the black bunned pulled lamb slider with smoky chips. Served covered in a cloche, removed to release a smoky woody aroma. Except I didn't want that…but the chips looked so good and it was so cold outside. The lovely wait staff very happily accepted my order for a kids order of chippies and the kids egg and bacon burger on coloured buns! I didn't need to beg or explain - fantastic service. The burgers and chippies came first - they later explained that kids meals get served first! The bacon is thick cut with a good bite and balance of meat and crispy bacon fat, the egg well cooked and the colourful buns soft and delish! Served in a smiley face on the plate! This big kid was pretty happy!!!
Always a delight visiting this local cafe. The smashed avo is a brekkie essential and the open sesame is a great lunch choice. Always friendly service and the music sets a great ambience.
After the mocha I got there, went back for brunch. I so love the inside of the place, beautifully designed. Loved the fact we hadn't sat down for more than 1 minute and had already been seen to by lovely waiter. Tick one for promptness and warmth. So important.
The Open Sesame was perfect for the two of us. One little pita pocket each of delicious chicken, with a little pot of hummus and a kale and pomegranate tabouli. Absolutely mouth wateringly wonderful. We got some chips on the side, also very good; served with aioli and tomato sauce.
The mocha was great for me, my partner wasn't as happy with her short macc, a little too grapefruit bitter for her taste but then a lot of the coffee beans these days are like this. Carrot, beetroot and ginger juice was also great.
I really like it here, only wish it were a little closer to being my local.

First time to Boosa. Instant welcome. Mocha paid for and received in good time. Lovely surprise seeing Lisa, a waiter at Turquoise working there. Impressed with interiors and menu will be tried soon!
Highly recommend the open sesame shawarma and the Turkish delight milkshake. Incredible food and attentive customer service. Miles ahead than the local competition.
An interesting menu, great coffee, great food and very friendly and attentive service. This is a newish cafe from the founder of Einstein's in Caulfield North. He's taken his food and menu to another level with delicious dishes, some with a Middle Eastern twist.

This is my new favorite cafe in the Centre Rd strip. The food is original and fantastic, with a cool Mediterranean vibe. (I note other reviews commenting on price. It's not cheap, but not overly expensive either relative to other food cafes in the area.) coffee is really great too. (I personally prefer the almond milk attend at Merchants Guild a few doors down). The Food here is superb and I really highly reccomend it as the most original and tasty cafe on Centre Rd
This cafe ticks very box to me. Great vibe with clean fit-out, terrific coffee, creative menu and helpful service. Since Merchant Guild has become quite monopoly in this suburb for years, Boosa clearly makes it run for the money. (Customers like us are happy with new great alternatives). I really like this cafe and hope they're doing really really well. Highly recommended 👍
Have always wanted to check out this place as it's a 15 min walk from home. Coffee is strong and my caulipower brekkie hits the spot for something hot yet not too overly filling. My friend had the panko eggs with runny yolks done just nice. Would return to this cafe for its attentive service & great food. A gem!

This Middle Eastern cuisine cafe takes flavour and presentation to an all new level. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we tried here with a middle eastern and fresh flavour. While some dishes seem a little over priced (we don't love when a breakfast item is over 20$), the serving size and presentation does seem to make up for this! The breakky board is a must try- the house cured salmon is delicious!!!
The menu is creative and different from other places which is a refreshing change. The food is delicious, the only improvement would be the size of the dishes.

Coffee coffee coffee. The best coffee in a long time. Loved the presentation of the black coffee with a side of soda water. This is how it's done. Coffee was fragrant and smooth the way I LOVE IT. I had the open sesame. The chicken was cooked perfect with a yummy shawarma spice. The side of home made hummus/sesame was Delish and a perfect element to the chicken. The kale and pomegranate side salad just added that little bit of freshness. Kale was cooked perfect too!! The avo was yummy and totally digging the presentation. Staff are so lovely and friendly. Everyone of them had a smile. The cafe was quite busy for a Sunday morning in this area which is obviously a good sign. If only every cafe in this area had coffee this good. It's getting harder to chose my favorite cafe in the Bentleigh area! I have been to a few, but Boosa is definitely up there with the best. Love the middle eastern influenced menu, it's not something you see a lot of cafes doing, and it makes for a good point of difference. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and coffee is always great. A fantastic place to try something different!
Good healthy competition to Merchants Guild. Loved my brekkie @ Boosa! Super creative menu, especially the presentation of Cauli Power, simply genius! We also tried the Panko Zaatar Eggs & the Smashed Avocado, they were delightful. Staff were friendly, service was great. We sat for 2hrs, meal & chat, without being pressured to vacate, which is so rare nowadays. Will definitely be back!
I Ordered the open sesame which was great. It comes with delicious chicken Schwarma in pita pockets, With a side of tabouli and tasty tahini.

My friend and I wanted a quick lunch in the area and she told me there was a cafe I had to try. Boosa is on the same strip as the popular merchants guild, but offers food that's quite different.
I chose the Melbourne Creimeh, crispy deep fried barramundi pieces on a bed of chickpea and veggies in a spiced red sauce served with labneh and grilled pita bread. The barramundi was delicious, fresh and juicy, the fish was cooked just right. Together with the chickpeas and capsicum it was delicious with the spiced red sauce. The pita bread was nice and smoky, eaten with the house made labneh you can never go wrong.
For my drink I had the juice of the week which I forget the ingredients of, I only remember it had granny Smith apples in it. It was very refreshing.
Seeing that we turned up at 1215, it was peak time, all the inside tables were taken and we had to sit outside, I was still impressed with their service and the speed the food arrived. Apparently my friends cauli power was apparently amazing too, so I think it's worth the wait.

I came here for lunch with a friend during the week. The service is a slow but the food is fantastic. I had the open sesame and my friend had Panko eggs. Both were amazing and full of flavour and presentation. The portion size is good and the milkshakes look great as well. Constructive criticism would be that music is a little loud so people talk over each other to hear, as well as ordering food and clearing dishes takes a while

Boosa Such an apt name for this perfect, perfect place. The Mushrooms Shwarma (vegan, special) was delectable, the Cauli Power was scrumptious, and the coffee was a true delight. Beautifully designed, with every detail well thought of, and state of the art kitchen. Service is, much like everything else about Boosa, exemplary, caring and gracious. Last but not least, dogs are welcome at the tables outside. I cannot wait to be back, time and time again, to gorge on this utter deliciousness.

Great service, which was perfect timed. I had the zatar eggs and my buddy had the smashed avocado. Both were perfect, and beautifully balanced with the other flavours on the plate. The coffee, too, was wonderful, strong and hot.

Without doubt the best coffee I've had in the area (and I've had plenty). Really good. I had the grainy salad with chicken for my lunch and it was totally delicious - I inhaled it!!! All yum. I will be back. Especially for that coffee.
Very friendly staff. Regretfully not too much that is gluten free which is my usual preference. But otherwise I would love to try a number dishes, perhaps when I'm feeling more devlish next time.

This place was recommended by a friend. Very local so thought I'd give it a try. Fit out and decor are super cute, quite a romantic-chilled vibe. Menu is a good length, not too extensive that it's hard to make a decision but enough variation. I went for the eggs benefit. Eggs on sourdough with grilled eggplant and crispy kale, and I added avo (of course). Enjoyed it enough but it needed more complimenting flavours. A burst of freshness and a little sweet would have been nice. It was all a bit heavy and rich. Would have brightened up the plate aswell.
My friend got the smashed avo which she said was very nicely seasoned and had a good balance of flavours. Staff were attentive without being annoying which was nice. Although they don't give bottles of water, rather they just keep topping up your glass which I find a bit weird but not a big deal. Would go back and give it another shot because it is so close to me.
Food was great (I had the cauliflower dish and my partner had panko eggs) both enjoyed the meals, quite unique. Didn't really enjoy the coffee unfortunately, quite weak and flavourless. Will try again some time soon. Definitely prefer it over merchants myself .

Yes, we Melbournians are fuzzy when it comes to Cafe, after all we are either first or second in the MOST livable City in the World category.
For this treat you must go all the way to Bentleigh East .... can be challenging if you do not have a car, as our Public transport system is probably not the best system to support this lifestyle, from one side of Melbourne to another.
Two sections inside, front and back with an outdoor area at the front. I reckon front with all the actions is the pick of the three, abit cold outside anyway.
Modernly fitted with a bit of European feel to it. A welcoming Black framed glass windows and door, a quick resemblance of that French Art Deco era, it'll gives you a clue of what's going on inside.
Lots of natural Timber element; front bench, Bench seats, Round & Square tables, communal tables to complement this predominantly White interior. White tiled communal tables at the back, the subtle Black grouts (lines) just to break and defined those bright White colour element, tile. The Interiors is straight, clean cut, minimalist, simplistic yet rich in design, just a pleasant and great ambiance to dine in.
I did try their Panko Zaatar Egg, very well presented, all works in harmony, that Panko eggs were cooked near perfection, runny yolks just shaped a little odd (to be fuzzy) :-) once you go through the "garden" above, Haloumi wasn't to overpowering salty either.
The quiet but deadly Barista is happily working on his Synesso MVP with variety of coffee beans. My Sumatran single estate brew was spot on, fresh and tantalising.
Most friendly service, they even asked you, "How's the food?" ... and coffee, a few times, a simple attention to detail that seems to be missing in some other places.
Good, clean toilet, well designed and positioned hand basin, what more could you ask for?

Great new addition to Centre Rd! Clean cut cafe with thoughtful staff members and good coffee. I also tried their warmed halva which was delicious. The root and grain salad was yummy as was the panka eggs (crumbed poached eggs!). Will be back and definitely recommend keeping an eye on this one.
Fantastic cafe. Just what the shopping strip needed. Merchant's guild watch out, you seriously have some competition! Beautifully prepared meals with distinct middle eastern flavours and superb coffee. This one's sure to be my favourite local hangout.
Checked out this new local with my twin brother today. Ordered a orange & cantelope juice... forgetting I don't like cantelope. (baby brain) Little did I know I loved it!! Had the cauliflower hash dish followed by the turkish delight brownie. A+! Not many decent cafes in this strip so glad this place is now here!
Came here at 1:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon and it was buzzing. Service was attentive and friendly. Food came out really quickly and was very tasty. Prices and portion sizes are good as well as the layout and decor of the cafe. Loved my experience, will definitely be back for more!

I had the Halva dream, what an amazing dish! Such a unique take on middle eastern cuisine. Next time I'll take a picture, I just had to dig in straight away.

Awesome cafe thats only recently opened 3 weeks ago. Super impressed by the menu, everything sounds so delicious and only makes you want to come back to try it all! Service was friendly and helpful. highly recommend the Turkish delight shake, lovely rosewater flavour but can be a bit sweet for some people
Considering this place has only been open just over a week they are doing well. Minor issues with staff prioritizing duties and barista needs to work on temperature of the milk as my 3 coffees were lukewarm even after asking for it to be a little hotter after the first two.The food however is presented beautifully, the decor so fresh and simple. I would recommend coming here for breakfast!
Welcome to the neighborhood Boosa! The hype has been building up at this place for a while before opening, and I visited it on the first day. Happy to say it didn't disappoint, and glad to see another cafe in this strip on par with the excellent Merchants Guild.
Together with the aforementioned Guild and the new Astroluxe on Chesterville Rd, it's good to see the gentrification of Bentleigh East in full swing. It's great that some cafe owners realised that the locals expect more than Tip top toasted white bread and overcooked poached eggs.
The menu at Boosa is great simply because it's different. Yes they have smashed avocado (I think that is mandatory these days) but their items have a strong middle eastern influence.
So many of the items sounded enticing but I settled on the panko eggs with Moroccan red sauce, tahini and haloumi. It was seriously amazing.
The coffee, service and ambience were faultless. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

Clean cut & bright.
Boosa offers you large tables, easy to read menus & plenty of natural lights for all of your social media snap needs. Although the door never really stays shut, but when it does it offers a lovely little bang, the trims are on point. From the mirrors in the bathroom to the contrast of pastels, pale woods and rustic flooring throughout the restaurant.
They also have a range of cakes/pastries in the front window and a lovely barista who makes an exceptional cup of joe..
I ordered the Smokey Lamb Slider, although the presentation was on point, if you don't like the taste of wood fire and nothing else then I would cautiously recommend it. The concept is awesome, having a smoke filled, almost, lid that the staff remove from at the table. A bit of theatrics never hurt anyone. However, there's nothing like a little smoke inhalation in the morning. That being said, once I had let the chips air out the smoke really did add a little something something. The bun and its inners itself was full of flavour and I probably would order it again.
I am intrigued to try other menu items and I will come back.
Although the venue was clean cut, tidy & consistent, I wish they instilled that into their staff, I don't know about you but when someone's hair is long enough to reach below their shoulders, then it's long enough to reach your food that may not be the case and one would hope not.. Looks a little untidy and out of place in such a beautiful surround. Hair up and casual clothes rather than gym gear and you'll have a winner. 👍🏻👍🏻
Cute quirky place in the burbs, definitely look out for this one! And a side note, if you're thinking of heading down to Boosa, they are new, new staff, new cafe, new menu. There is no reason to be rude when they are unsure of themselves and establishing themselves.

Some of the most unique and delicious brunch in Melbourne, hands down. With a menu drawing heavily from Israeli culture and cuisine, there are some truly distinctive flavours in the menu. Highlights for me are the Giant Ladka, the Turkish Eggs (Cilbir), and Challah Benedict. The coffee and sandwiches are also incredible. Service is great, friendly and always efficient even when it’s super busy. 5/5 keep it up team!
Lovely middle eastern cafe in the heart of Bentleigh East. Giant latkes are my fav for heartiness and freshness to boot. Please bring back your breakfast board with the salmon and challah - it's too good!
Just awesome great atmosphere food is delicious and coffee was great.
Very yummy food. Service is however slow, but that makes up for the giant portions of food they serve. Will come again.

It was my first visit but it will not be my last! The staff were amazing. Kind, helpful and really welcoming. The food was incredible. The haloumi & avocado breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the serve was enormous. Really impressive.
