Koi Ramen Sushi Don - Bentleigh - Photo album

It’s hard to find a good sashimi Place who do dine in and take away and I was so impressed with the choice, value and presentation 👌🏻🥰✨🍣🍜🍤
Very disappointed with this $21 feed. Basically a bowl of rice, with reheated chicken karrage and a drizzle of Mayo… and reheated gyoza with a small tub of dipping sauce. Some tips… sweet miso or soy, Japanese Mayo (not Australian) and pickled ginger or daikon garnish on the Karrage don. More dippi
I hate doing this but, this was the worst Japanese food ever. Pictured is a curry-less Pork Katsu Curry and a watery Chicken Teriyaki Noodle. The Katsu has half cooked frozen veggies on there. Seriously no flavour and this was binned after the photo was taken. Might have been an unlucky customer he
Obviously very popular, this little Japanese restaurant has an extensive menu and the dishes we chose were good. Will definitely return.
Amazing food. One of my new faves. Cute decor. Not cheap but not overly classy, more cafe style than restaurant style - love the homey feel the wooden tables and chairs give. Nice and tidy and food is served looking fresh and clean and tasting great. $10 minimum to use card, just as an FYI for anybo

For the Salmon Bento I'm paying, it's not worth it. Few pieces of miserably thin sliced salmons, lots of rice (a trick to load you up fully to save expense costs), only one side meal (two dumplings with hardly any meat) and some salad vegetables. That's not Japanese Bento.
Small and cosy little local restaurant. Fast service and quality japanese food that tastes great. Decent serving sizes and well priced. The menu is wide enough to have something for everyone in the family. We’ve added Koi to our list of regular local dining destinations!!
