Got a delivery of their pepper beef stir fry and fried rice. The fried rice was full of ingredients with large bursty shrimps and the pepper beef was spicy and tender.
King 88 restaurant is start with new management. The chef has more than 25 year experience. It’s start with new look and new taste for customers.

The price is very good too, definitely come back again and would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.
It seems to be back to its original standars (5 years ago and earlier): the new owners are certainly doing their best. Good food, good service, nice atmosphere. BYO a bonus and a $5 rebate on the bill for next time... I just advise the owners to put the correct prices on the online menu that can be seen here on Zomato: the prices on the actual bill are much higher but not unreasonable.
Wonderful staff, extensive menu - great food. This is a neighbourhood gem. The food is always fresh and the service is fantastic. Tried a couple of the banquets and always good if you're too busy chatting to peruse the menu. Honey chicken with cashew nuts is amazing as is Eye fillet steak with black pepper sauce, and we just have to mention the Peking Duck - better than in Singapore! My husband just loves the Combination Birdsnest.

Was introduced to this Chinese restaurant when visiting a friend who recently moved to the area. A group of us went down for dinner but didn't know what to order so we asked the waitress for recommendations. For entrée, we had chinese traditional dumplings called 'sui mai' (the ones you get at Yum Cha restaurants) and I must say, it was delicious and it came in a serving of 4. All Yum Cha places now serve 3 dumplings per serving. For mains we had Cantonese steak on sizzling plate, special combination served in potato bird nest, chinese broccoli and of course lemon chicken. All the dishes were beautifully cooked and presented. We did not need any recommendations for dessert!! We went for fried ice-cream and banana fritter. Yummmm!! I told my friend when I visit him again, he must take me to King 88. I would recommend this little local Chinese Restaurant. If you are unsure of what to order, why not ask the staff for recommendations like us? We were very please and satisfied with their recommendations on the night.
Best Chinese food in the area. All the dishes were tasty. The prawn puffs are a must. Would definitely come back in the future to try the other dishes.
King 88 - new Chef doing it beautifully. Yes - enjoyed when Tina was running it but Vivienne/Jing and Chef are running it beautifully. The best Char Kwee Tao on this side of Melb. Yummy spring rolls and they are consistent with quality and friendly service. Only criticism is the noisy fridge and sometimes way too cold aircon which can be turned down upon request - once you have dined there you will be back - excellent value and we are fastidious foodies on many levels!

Solid neighbourhood Chinese. Didn't look much from the outside, but food was definitely above average for a casual neighbourhood Chinese restaurant. Good prices, very friendly service.
I bloody love the King. Goin to the King for dinner is always a ripper of an experience.
Bangin music. They play instrumentals of all your favourites - Their version of Dancing Queen - Abba is to die for.
The sizzling mongolian lamb is absolutely delicious and so is the salt and pepper calamari - We like to tell em to ease up on the chilli though and the staff tell us "No worries".
Very friendly staff and grouse food. Can get a little pricey if you don't play your cards right.

Fast service and a bright, clean dining room. Menu was hampered by the shortage of greens, but the kitchen coped well. Standards like chicken and corn soup and chicken fried rice were done well. Beef satay a standout. Good for family dining or take away.
Great little place for takeaway. Cheap and good. It'll tick that craving for Chinese food and won't break the bank wither. Their meal boxes are a big serve and you can get fried rice instead of steamed rice also.
My family have takeaway every Friday. We mix it up so we buy from here about 8 times a year. Every meal we have purchased here has been good quality and delicious.
Pretty good dishes. Quite authentic. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try southern Chinese food. The price is reasonable. Staff was friendly. A lot car parking place nearby. If you dine in, I would recommend park in the car park behind the shops on the side street.
Really tasty food, the lady is always so lovely when we come to pick it up late at night. Will happily come back again.
