This place has an awesome atmosphere with all its rustic trinkets and vintage memorabilia plastered around the walls. It’s taken four visits to the Riverland to finally get an available table so we were expecting good things. The service is fantastic as the staff are friendly and interested in ensuring you’re happy, despite them being run off their feet by the volume of patrons and tables to wait on. The owner came out to greet us at one point and that added a special touch to a fantastic night out. The food is rather good (see photos) although two of the four dishes had sauces that were just slightly burnt. The serving sizes are generous so know you’ll be fed well by the end of your visit. My husband absolutely loved the garlic bread too!! Overall, a fun place, good food, and lovely staff to make a great night out.

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant is! We decided to take a quick trip to Berri and were seeking some lunch - after a 3 hr drive from Adelaide we arrived after 2:30pm - which all the pubs and clubs finish serving lunch by then. We googled restaurants at Berri and this restaurant came up - we gave them a call and they were happy to have us for lunch. We arrived and found we were the only ones there (mid week) but we couldn't hAve been made to feel more welcome! A lovely lady served us at table, was very warm and friendly and efficient...the atmosphere and Aussie themed area was most interesting and provided talking points the entire time and we probably still missed seeing something.. Now the FOOD... brilliant - we had to have the dips...not your standard hommous and beetroot varieties, instead a carrot and Australian pepper berry; a bush tomato and chutney and a macadamia dip with homemade lavosh type cracker with pepper berry...10 out of 10! Then we each had a burger and the were fresh, very flavoursome and all food presented beautifully and professionally. The chef even custom made my daughters burger which she devoured... there was good air conditioning as it was a hot day and some very nice wines and beers... they need a wine list though... overall an amazing interesting place - a must see esp for overseas visitors - having said this , I'm 5th gen Aussie and I loved it - even played some good Aussie music...highly recommended!!!
