Best Thai place in the area. My snobby bf from the inner city suburbs even loves this place. Practically the only reason he ever ventures out this way. It’s a solid choice for any Thai lover!
Went here for dinner for a few times, some of it were just walk in sittings and mostly it’s full packed hence the need for booking. The flavours are rich. Price is reasonable. Big servings. Beautiful ambience.

Brought family and visitors to Berwick Thai second time. Curry is great and soup is spicy enough. Didn't like the wok fry prawn. Quite busy on Sunday night.
This is one of our Thursday night take away special places to go. We always get the take away and it's always very good. In particular, we like the Green Chicken Curry, Red Beef Curry, Beef Salad, Spring Rolls, 4 x Roti Bread and a large rice. You can walk out the door for under $50.00 and it serves 4 nicely. The food is always consistent and they don't skimp on anything. Don't mind Brando The Pigs review, he's a pompous ass. People like that find fault with ice cubes, drinking water, number of clouds in the sky and time it takes to sit for a red light.
I love coming to visit the rents in Berwick because I get a chance to come here! Hands down the best Thai I've had probably anywhere in Melbourne! The service is friendly and quick which I appreciate especially when I'm popping in for take away. My orders are always ready fresh and hot and always at a very high quality I haven't been disappointed in the many years I've been going here, if you're really craving some good quality Thai food and friendly service give this place a go!
Been going to this place for the last few years and is one my favorite thai places around. We usually order take away. The restaurant looks small and cosy and it's not rare dine in to be busy on a weekday as well..
The prices are reasonable and the food tastes great.. The prawn Tom yum soup and fried rice is a must try!
Had a lovely dinner with two girlfriends last night. We all ordered satay!!! The menu only states chicken but they were happy to do satay chicken and satay prawns as well. Very accomodating!!
The staff were friendly and not pushy.
The place was full it was a Friday night so it was hard to have a conversation and hear what my friends were saying so probably not the place for a romantic evening but I would rather have great food then go for a romantic drink somewhere else.

I've been here a few times. I'm never dissapointed. We went with green chicken curry and massamam beef with some rice and roti. It's perfect i cant say anything bad about it. The only thing is i wish the spring roll serving size was a little bigger. Service was fine and its a cosy little place on the main street of berwick.
Excellent Thai Food. Red Duck Curry awesome, Garlic prawns best ever. Flavors were sensational. Staff were very accommodating even without a booking. Will definitely be back.

Well priced, good food with really good portion sizes.
Had the Chicken Laksa (which was HUGE) and amazing. It was my first proper Thai food experience and my partners and we weren't disappointed.
Decor isn't the flashiest and the amount of take away coming from the kitchen somewhat hinders the table service, but that is the only negative I can find.
If you're hungry, like Thai food (or want to try it) - don't hesitate. It's worth it.
3 entrees, 1 small rice, 1 roti, 1 chicken laksa, 1 seafood green curry and 2 soft drinks = $80 (dine in).
This thai restaurant serves the best thai food I've ever had and i think it deserves a really high rating based on the below:
- Service: warm welcoming and friendly staff, menus given and orders taken in a timely manner with no long waits. The food came out in about 15 minutes 5/5
- Food: delicious, packed full of flavour and authentic! This is the first thai restaurant I've been to that does not ruin their food with a ton load of sugar/sweetness. The food here has the right balance of sweet, salty, spicy and tangy. The chef here sure knows how to cook authentic thai food!
- Order: Thai Beef Salad (flavoursome not too spicy), Seafood Pad Thai (best I've ever had!!! But missing crushed peanuts) Red Curry with roast duck (not too spicy or overly sweet, just perfect) 1 steam rice and 1 coconut rice which we could not finish because each serving was big enough to feed 2 ppl. The staff should of warned us but we were able to take the left over rice home.
Overall i would definitely come back 👍

Sneakers – Between the two of us we ordered some chicken spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, pad med mamuang (with chicken) and some gai yang. The spring rolls and satay chicken skewers were quite tasty. The pad med mamuang was tasty, but there was a slight bitter taste to the sauce. The gai yang was nice though it was overcooked and therefore kinda dry. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. It should be noted that the dine-in menu prices can be much more expensive than the take away menu shown above, however the dine in portions were very large and you could probably share one dish between two people.
Cassidy – I liked their spring rolls, they were fresh and not straight out of a freezer. From the mains, my preference was the gai yang. There was so much of it we weren’t able to finish it. I’d like to go here again, but would probably get takeaway just for the price difference.

Best Thai food iv eaten in Australia by far. The service was very friendly in this cosy Thai restaurant. It was a little expensive i thought but the food was delicious.
Ive only had 1 miss hap when they got the order wrong I drove 15min home and it was the wrong order so I rang them drove back and when they gave me the correct order they asked for the extra 50c for the correct meal I said I dont have 50c in change.. they said we take card I was appalled I had to drive 15 back abd they still wanted the 50c after that the reception got angry and shooed me out basicly and let me off the stupid 50c.
BUT I DO LOVE THIER THAI!!!!!!!!!! I DONT CARE I WOULD GO BACK ALWAYS
LOVE this restaurant. I never write reviews because honestly, I just can't be bothered. This place deserves a review and 5 stars. I've been dozens of times, tried many dishes, and had takeaway too, not once was I disappointed! The service is great, the food is amazing, and the value for money is worth it!
This place is definitively worth checking out. The service is friendly and prompt although as it seems to get quiet busy, u need to sometimes prompt the waitstaff.
The food is brilliant and the seafood plentiful and tender. We had a group of 9 people and all the food came out at the same time.
Just a small piece of advice: make a booking otherwise there will be little chance of getting a table as it is a rather small restaurant. Also, they do not have any high seats, so if u have small children either bring your pram.
Food: Amazing traditional Thai flavours. I loved the Penang Beef we ordered.
Service: Really friendly staff and top service. Duck salad I ordered was a bit delayed (it's a good thing as then I knew that it's being made fresh) and staff was very apologetic about it.
I will return for sure. I would put this place up with the best Thai food I had in Melbourne.
Love the Satay skewers and krapow chicken. Green curry is great too, very nice taste, aroma and not too spicy. The price is reasonable. Service can be slow on friday and saturday nights so call them ahead.
A nice pleasant place to have your Thai and eat it too. Not the best Thai in Melbourne, but way better than some. Consistent, big portions that satisfy and nothing ever distasteful or bad. I've seen a couple of negative reviews and always wonder if those people were in the same restaurant. We'll be back, we always go back. We've tried the other local Thai's and this is the best in the area.

Yum!. Been here a few times. Food is fantastic and my gosh the alcoholic cocktails are very good value, not watered down like allot of other restaurants.

Takeaway and smile.... A weekly takeaway order from this restaurant has been a family ritual for the past few years. The food is freshly cooked, generous in portions and most importantly, tickles everyone's taste buds. Fantastic!. The food is spectacular (especially the cashew stir fry and yellow chicken curry), the prices are quite affordable, and the service is always great. We require gluten-free dishes and the staff are extremely helpful and know exactly what they're talking about. Our go-to Thai place, and we usually have take away.

Good food. Berwick Thai has really great food, it's delicious and everything you expect from a Thai restaurant and I think the cooks are Thai. My only problem is it's a pokey place and when it gets busy, you feel very squished and it lacks that intimate feeling. I felt seated way too close to people. We have sat on tables and also sat on the lonch bench with chairs on the other side and it felt like we were sitting at the same table as strangers on both side sof us
Found this restaurant on urban spoon & was impressed by its rating. It certainly did not disappoint. The food was authentic, the servings were generous & prices were reasonable. My only let down was we're we were seated. It was right next to the kitchen & toilet so constantly had people walking past which was annoying. Other than that, for a local dinner I would definitely come here again!
Green Chicken Curry. mmmm.. Had the green chicken curry here, it was very fragrant and spicy..... just how I like it. I wish the tables weren't so close to each other though, my friend and I felt like we were inadvertandly part of someones birthday party and we could not really have a private conversation without the tables next to us being able to hear every word. I guess you can't do much with the small size of the place.
I would go back again, but I would get take away this time instead of dining in.
Possibly the best Thai food. This place is awesome. The service was quick and friendly and the food was absolutly beautiful. Tasty, fresh and ample! Will definately go back to this place over and over! The place was a buzz all night with a lot of takeaway also being sold in addition to the restaurant sit down meals. Cashew chicken was just amazing! Well Done. This restaurant has all the main ingredients for a successful restaurant without the overloaded overheads of a posh place.

I only have take away from here and if you order on Friday or Saturday night be prepared for the wait as they are very popular! Very tasty, consistent food at a good price. It's the best Thai food in the Berwick/ Narre Warren area by miles. Thoroughly recommended!

A regular customer for about 10 years always very satisfied. Best dining in Berwick. I understand it's a busy restaurant but worth the wait while chatting with your friends to make your night longer and enjoyable...
Been a take-away customer on several occasions and am always satisfied, especially my recent visits. Last visit saw my order accidentally confused, causing an average delay. To my pleasant surprise, a complimentary dish of satay chicken was provided! Some of the cleanest and tastiest Asian food around, for sure. Well priced, high quality, if you're in the South East looking for a feed, stuff your gob with this mob!
Great food and price.... I had been recommend to go here by a friend and I have to say the food is great and they do the best coconut rice. Was really busy when I went and the service was spot on
One of my favorites. Great mix of spices in the food that they sell. The eat in serves are a good size. The service in the restaurant is always quick, but expect a big wait for take always on the weekends.
Great Food. Might be Thai food for white people ( as indicated by some previous reviewers) - but it's soooooo much nicer than the oily rubbish that you get at some places around the city - the balance of flavours is just perfect - and the ingredients are all fresh , and it shows in the quality of the dishes.
One of our favourite take aways. Good Thai food, never dined in but regularly order take away. They get busy on Friday and Saturday nights so recommend ringing in your order about 30 to 45 minutes ahead of time.
Great Place. Love it....food is great. So reasonably priced. Takeaway or eat in. Cant beat it for quick and easy. Sometimes takeaway has a bit of a delay, but at least you know the food is being freshly cooked when you order.
