Had dinner here during the week and decided to go back today for lunch. Lovely food and fantastic service. The serve size was really good, value for money. Nice comfortable atmosphere.
Been going to this restaurant for so many years and I love what they do. I went in on Thursday for a dinner and loved every moment. The food is really nice.
We dined at Deepam a few years ago and had a positive memory of that time so thought we would try again today. The restaurant was very quiet for Sunday lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was very good - we had the lamb rogan josh and chicken tikka masala. We were happy with every aspect of our dining experience.
The food is really tasty we have been coming here for over 14 years. The vindaloo and buryani are full of flaviur.best lamb vindaloo ive ever had.nice clean atmosphere
This is our 2nd time dining here and on both occasions we experienced delicious food, sensational flavours & exceptional service.

I don't see how we have 6% unemployment, half of our population works here. Good tasting food and good service! A bit pricey but really worth it
Hmmm. I so wanted to fall in love with this place after a number of friends talked so highly of it. Whilst it was ok it didn't blow me away as I expected. Just expected more flavour or perhaps I have just been spoilt my local place. The staff could not be faulted and went all out to try and make sure everything was ok. To me the lamb saag and butter chicken were quite bland and lacked punch. Maybe just an off night and I will be back to see if they improve.
Beautiful Indian food, clean restaurant, great customer service, decent price and complimentary papadums!! Lamb rogan josh, butter chicken and a serving of saffron rice= $45 for 2 people with no alcohol
Overall, we were very happy with our meal...The total bill came up to an average of $50 per person which was not bad considering we ate until we were extremely full and had a few drinks.
Best Indian. We love this place. staff are friendly, always remember us. potato Vada, chicken Tikka, rogan Josh, butter chicken and kashmiri naan are our favs. always delish.

Good taste, service and the set menu is great for large appetites. Had a positive experience akin that that described by other reviewers (4/5 stars). Highly recommended overall, except we experienced long wait times (At least 25 minutes passed between the time we finished our entrées and the main being served; the TV provided was welcome) between the serving of the entrée and main of the "Set Menu" on the Saturday night we visited.
Notes from dinner with my family:
- The SET MENU (choice 2) are a bargain for those with big appetites as unlimited flavoured rice and curry is included in the per head fee. If you're not able to finish the meal (unsurprising considering the portion sizes), a doggie bag service is provided
- The live musician who played during the night didn't feel complementing to the atmosphere as the volume of the speakers were at a level that hindered communication between those at our table and the wait staff. Although the musician's vocals and ability with the array of Western musical instruments was impressive.
- The vast majority if wait staff were always accommodating and provided service with a smile
- During the school holidays, a number of less experience, younger wait staff also serve. Unfortunately, this resulted in a misunderstand when we thought our side dish wasn't delivered, when in fact it was delivered along with our set menu. Which we weren't able to pick up when the server labelled it as a "set menu" item (we're not familiar with Indian cuisine)
- The restaurant's takeaway business also seems very popular on a Saturday night

Excellent!. After reading other reviews i am simply shocked and believe that these people don't know what is good food and service it when they have had it.
I am really impressed with the range of food choice and the selection of drinks at the restaurant. Not many Indian Restaurants offer this. The service was well maintained and waiter was extremely friendly. If your in Berwick i would suggest you go here!
Fantastic Indian Food. This is my local Indian Restaurant and we regularly go here. the food is fantastic and staff are really friendly.
Chicken Tikka is always really fragrant and juicy and the currys are super saucy and moorish. We always go for a banquet which is great value at $30 odd and we always go home full! highly recommended.
Best Indian around!. Deepam has absolutely fantastic Indian food. It is by far our favourite Indian restaurant in the area. The food is so full of flavour and the staff are really polite and friendly. The restaurant looks nice and has a nice atmosphere. Delicious food!!! I love the vegetarian dishes, my husband loves the prawn vindaloo and my mum says it's the best beef curry she's ever had.
Review. This is one of the nicest Indian Resturants in the Narre Warren area. Service is good. The food great. Gets very busy sometimes and too hard to talk but that's a sign of a good reasturant.

Nice food, great ambience, amazing hospitality. Recently we did a get together for 70 guests and we were impressed with everything. The owner Chabbi is a fantastic person and exceeded expectation.
