Classic southern chinese cuisine. No booking and got a table on a busy Sat night. Conversation is really loud here. Mixed crowd. Not enough waiters on the floor. Difficult time flagging them down just to get anything really. Friendly staff. Food is good. Crab a little overcooked. That being said, I will be back.
Steam boat abalone and wagyu steamboat was fantastic! Chinese restaurant that does great seafood. Fast service and food came out quick. Very well run restaurant with quality seafood dishes.
The Prefect place for supper! I come here every sunday to catch up with mates and share amazing seafood together. The service was not top notch BUT Don’t get me wrong, you come here for the seafood and not for the service! If you want better service then this restaurant is definitely not recommended for you :) Its a very traditional and old fashioned chinese restaurant with a fast paced service- their goal is to get all the food onto your table asap. I love their garlic cheese mud crabs and Pipis which are discounted after 9pm. It gets quite busy on a sunday evening and sometimes we cant even get a car park. If you want seafood at an afforable price, fast service and have a late night craving then come to beverly hills! :)
Been here a few times already, there are so many Chinese restaurants in Beverly Hills and it can be a little daunting to decide! We like the flavours here and the seafood is always fresh. The steamed oysters with xo sauce and vermicelli is always a favourite as well as crab with noodles to soak up all that sweet juices and sauce. If you come after 10pm, there’s also supper time specials (cash only for these!).
A fantastic restaurant to enjoy seafood and Chinese cuisine at the same time. The beef with xo sauce was strongly recommended, so did the crab. Can't wait to eat although I didn't even have the chance to take photos. The only thing that was not so good was the atmosphere, too noisy.
Just your usual Chinese seafood restaurants that's bustling with full tables and that lady on whichever table that won't shut up until everyone in the restaurant can hear her, yeah that's as authentic as French bistros not giving you bread plates :)
So onto the food...that's what we're here for anyways...who would come here for the service lols!
The oysters Fried and Steamed were both marvellous...it's been a while since we've had oysters this size.
Next up was recommended pipies, with Xo sauce and fried rice noodles...and yes human hunger won this round as you can see the camera only captured half the dish :)
After that veges, pork and salt pepper squid were your usual average affair...
So maybe it's not the strongest Chinese restaurant but given what's in the vicinity including what's in Hurstville, the City or Burwood and at this price range...gotta say not bad at all....
Just your average Chinese restaurant, although more expensive than Hurstville. Service is a bit slow here but generally speaking, the food is good. Like many Chinese restaurants, they also serve the free soup for entree and free fruit for dessert.
A bit expensive for me... we have three people and ordered one fish, 6 scollops, 1 fried crab( not much meat inside), 1 vegetable, costs over $400...
Seafood is fresh and cooked well, but staffs always look like they are in a rush... I would say food is good but not in great value and customer service needs to be improved..
As a Chinese, I have to say that it is the best Chinese seafood restaurant in Sydney. The seafoods are all very fresh and also very big size. The flavour of the dishes are also very Chinese and yummy; maybe that's the reason for the name of this restaurant. I recommend wagyu hotpot and the crispy pigeon is so beautiful that you have to book at least one day before to have it.

Yummy seafood restaurant is situated on a busy main road and can be quite discreet to most foodies.
The decor of the restaurant is unusual and dated. Looks like it use to be a buffet restaurant
We ordered several dishes in total.
First dish was steamed oysters and deep fried oysters. The steamed oysters was juicy and succulent. The deep fried oysters was disappointing.
Second dish was lobster with noodles. Lobster was very oily, however, did taste delish!
Third dish was the sweet and sour pork. Serving size was small, but tastes decent.
Fourth dish was deep fried tofu with broccoli. Tofu was standard.
Fifth dish was beef with wasabi and soy sauce. This dish was very nice. The wasabi sauce was definitely something different and enhanced the flavours of the beef.
Sixth dish was the crispy skin chicken. This dish was pleasant.
Seventh dish was stewed eggplant. Found out I wasn't a fan of eggplant.
Finally finished off with dessert.
Overall, an enjoyable and filling dinner with decent customer service.
My family went to dine here quite a bit after normal dinner hours (hitting about 10-11 when we arrived). Service was fast and the food came out pretty quickly. The oysters were the highlight of the night. They were the biggest I had ever seen and super pretty too.
Because I live close by, I've been to many restaurants in and around our district. One that stands out with leaps and bounds is this Yummy Chinese Seafood Restaurant in Beverly Hills. I have visited on numerous occasions and never been disappointed.
I certainly can highly recommend this restaurant to take your close and dear friends too.
On the plus side it closes 2am every night, last orders 1.30am. it is a BYO & Lic. so take your pick.
As for pricing like all good things you pay for quality, and leave not disappointed. Fulfilled and Happy.

Luckily for the restaurant owners at Yummy Seafood Chinese Restaurant, I’ve been here several times and have always enjoyed the food. So even when our table of ten are still unseated by 7:50pm (we had a 7pm reservation), we don’t storm out. Besides, we were here to celebrate my Dad’s birthday! But what I hate most though, is their approach. If they had been honest at the start instead of repeatedly telling me it’ll only be a few minutes and then trying their best to avoid me, we would’ve waited patiently. Lesson of the day: Those who persevere are rewarded with food, glorious food! Eventually, after an hour of staring at the live tanks and drooling over what the tables near the front of house were eating, we were finally taken to our table! My siblings and I decide to go all out and shout my Dad a magnificent feast. This is one of the enjoyments of having three working adult children. It was indisputable that we order the mud crab. Good food good service. Ordered Steamed Barramundi and Cantonese Style Free Range Chicken.
Food tasted fine, or at least better than most Chinese restaurants you could find in Eastwood. It is very similar to Golden Century in China Town.
We recently had dinner at the Taste of Shangai in Eastwood, food was just okay, service was terrible, staff don't speak English and served other table's order.
So, compared to that, Yummy Chinese is way better. Will definitely come back.
