Review Beverly Hills Chinese Restaurant - Beverly Hills

The food is very disappointing! The stewed lamb! Should be called lamb bone soup! Tasted like cooked long time ago. Disgusting taste! 49.8$ - Shredded Chicken This dish, super salty! Beside salty, no other taste! 59.8$ They don’t have the dish on their menu. As the chicken dish on their menu all around 20-25$! However when we pay the bill, the owner ask for 59.8$. What a rip off! - Avoid this restaurant! Not worth it at all! Waste time and money!

The traditional Chinese dishes are good here. However we ordered the pipis and quite a few of them were gritty with sand.

First time visit following a friend’s recommendation. Overall good quality food. We ordered salty egg crab, salted egg white bait, eggplant n mince and chicken and salty fish fried rice. Would definitely return to try other dishes. Crab is market price. The bill was on the top end, with four dishes at $175. Ample parking as it is next to the train station, however restaurant is very small, only several tables. Also complimentary soup!

Never buying from here again. Ordered 4 dishes over the phone and i asked for the price which i was told it was $74. Arrived there to pick up and price went up to $75. Paid on card and without telling me i was charged $76 for 4 dishes. Didnt even get free prawn chips with that. Ripped off and its not ok to just bump prices.

Super bland and pretty expensive ($92.56 for four dishes, one of which was fried rice and another was noodles [also, this was like $3 more than just ordering this off uber eats would have been]). The fried rice had no taste at all which is super odd, no wok hay, I'm not certain it was actually fried. The chap at the restaurant was nice enough, the food was ready fairly quickly and the fillet steak was tender even if the taste was off. Not sure why this place has a 4.1 star rating however. Drive less than 5 more minutes and you're in Hurstville, where the food is undoubtedly better. We've been trying to order out more lately because of COVID, to do that tiny little bit to keep small restaurants operating. However, given the size of the restaurant I think they would have been a mostly takeaway location anyway and (especially considering the price) it doesn't feel like they're even trying very hard.

Decent local cantonese food. Slightly pricier

Bad experience here the fried rice was extremely flavourless and bland they missed one serve of prawn toast that we ordered and paid for ! The beef and black bean was salter than usual! I wouldn’t order here again the food and service was quiet a bit longer than we were indicated in the app. I don’t understand the ratings here !

Best Salted Duck Egg Mud Crab and Prawns, best pork ribs with vinegar sauce, every dish is less oil and salt. Love to eat here all the times!

Didn't see any movie stars! Thought we'd at least glimpse one or two. That was disappointing but there were positives! Food was finely chopped, tasty and well cooked. The waiter's unsmiling demeanour was a bit unusual but the food arrived quickly so technically the service was good. Many handwritten Chinese signs on the wall so it felt very authentic. Wish we'd had a Chinese person with us - we might have been more adventurous with what we ordered. ps my grumpy husband may have a less-glowing review but I appreciated it a lot

The rudest service I've had in a long I walked in and go what you want when I asked about something else he basically threw my dinner onthe table beside me and walked off Would never recommend to anyone

Nice array of Chinese food.
The vermicelli noodles with crab, chicken, fried white bait and dough sticks were enjoyable. The free dessert was generous after your meal but I was not a fan of the green melon dessert.
Will recommend and would come back.

Crab with salted egg york is so good! Highly recommend this restaurant. We went as a group and had 3 whole crabs and pipi with vermicelli base. Delicious! This place is fairly quiet and easy to find parking, not as hard when comparing to the other Chinese restaurants on the main road of Beverly Hills.

Love the authentic HK food here, good wok flavours. Try Chinese vinegar ribs, combo hot pot, any of the noodles esp combo crispy egg noodle. Best for 2+ ppl to try more and finish the generous servings. Small Chinese family restaurant so don't expect fine dining service :p it is usually packed all nights of the week so get in early or make a booking.

Terrible service. Boss n boss lady never smiles n is always looking cranky n is rude to customers. Food size shrank all of a sudden as well as quality of food.

Ambience of the restaurant is clean nothing flash, atmosphere of a typical eatery in Hong Kong, small, cosy & your ears are able to pick up the many conversations around your table.
Mud crab with salted duck egg is a hit! Crispy duck with Taro is superb! Fresh out of the tank steam Barra with ginger/shallot also recommended. Good old E-Fu noodles with shitaki mushrooms & Chinese shallots-yummo!
Will definitely be back to explore the other signature dishes.
