Review Loukoumades Greek Street - Beverly Hills

MJ La-Fernandez
Its as sweet as it can get! This place is packed to the rafters on Saturday and Sunday nights, the flow of customers were from children to adults, families to groups of teens and single buyers to deliver suppliers. The essence of loukoumades is worth the wait… yes you’ll be standing in line waiting to be served, the tables (if your eating in) are small, which means for a family to fit it will not be comfortable especially if you wanted to eat your sweets with a cuppa. It’s gets “squishy” when there’s more than 10 people in the shop. It’s roughly $11 for a tiny portion so for the sweet tooth fairy, bring more $$$ than you think you’ll eat. Enjoy your sweet taste of loukoumades.

Me and my fiancé last night went to this place with heard about this place it honestly has the freshest Desert I've ever tried I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food

Light crispy isn't crispy. We chose the nutella flavour and asked for them to be light crispy. Unfortunately, after waiting about 30 minutes, the doughnuts were soft and not even hot.

Really impressive Greek dessert store with a solid range. The loukoumades are fantastic and good value for money. You won't be hungry when leaving that's for sure!

Dry, stingy on the peanut butter, and bland. The taste of cooking oil is very overpowering and overall it's just not edible. Terrible experience and overhyped, waste of time and money.

How many times we’ve gone here or gotten delivery and they’ve gotten our order partially wrong. The loukoumades are expensive, you pay for extras and you don’t get them (especially frustrating when you’ve gotten it delivered), you try to communicate with them via email, thinking they are decent or respectful and no response. At least give us a $5 voucher or at the very least, an apology, anything to entice us back. The owner doesn’t care, you can tell from the responses they give others who are disappointed at their service in this review section. So happy to never waste my money here again.

Great place for hangs out for dessert. Their sweet are good. The price is ok. Unfortunately the looks for the dessert to the milkshake are far from the slide show they had for the menu. If you are expecting wow looks on your sweet, you will be disappointed.

Poor quality dessert. Waited 10 minutes to get pre cooked loukoumades and didn’t have the ingredients for their own menu item, so had an alternative. Topping wasn’t that nice unfortunately. Hence overpriced for the quality. Also loukoumades have shrunk since the last times we came. Ordered coffee which tasted like water, as there was hardly any milk in it despite being a latte! Also told no cash (didn’t see any signs) so had to pay surcharge. Unfortunately we won’t be back here.

People check out this new and exciting sweet place to eat dessert, it’s Greek at its best, warning !!!! keep plenty of room after dinner as these servings are big. Well worth a visit, excellent service and staff. We’ll be back again soon. Regards the Simotas family

Great loukoumades and happy service. Love the tsoureki I bought with the chestnut cream too and the frappe. Next time I’m trying the Greek pies and gelato. My friends loved it too. Good luck with everything. About time we had good Loukoumades in an area that is accessible to all.

Loukoumades were absolutely perfect. Crisp on the outside and very fluffy on the inside. Frappe and freddo espresso so good. Also, staff very friendly and accommodating. We asked about the sweet cheese ones and were given a free sample. Great customer service. We will be back for sure.

Came here on a cold Friday night as my partner and I were craving something indulgent. Ordered the white dream Loukoumades to share... the donuts were flavourless, dry, chewy and bitter. Very weird. White chocolate wasn’t creamy but tasted watered down, couldn’t even mask the horrible texture of what was supposed to the be star of the show. Just disappointing :/ two stars because the cashier was nice

With two textures of soft or crispy for your Loukoumades (donut balls), you won't be bored here‼ What makes this work aside from freshness and texture is that it's not overly sweet and is well-balanced; just pick the flavours you like 😃 ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Also on top of this, there are additional toppings you can get e.g. strawberries, nutella, nuts etc. so another reason why you can't get bored of these donuts 😁⁣⁣⁣⁣

Craving for sweets and donuts??? Then try out this Greek style donuts, that’s shaped in a ball. I got to love the crunchiness of the donuts dip in chocolate! it's so yummy! It also comes in different flavours too! It’s something different! And the milkshake that comes with it! It’s one of a kind dessert you can have after dinner or a late night snack!

Best dessert place!!! I really love Greek donuts and these ones are simply the best! They're freshly made in front of you and you can choose between light and crispy or soft. Personally I can't choose – I really love them both! My favourite topping is Nutella with white chocolate, crushed almonds and fresh strawberries. Goes perfectly with a cold freddo latte (Greek iced coffee).

There are lots of different flavours/toppings to choose from – including classic donuts soaked in honey syrup and more, sweet cheese and salted caramel – yum! Next time, I'm dying to try the 'Fistiki' peanut butter with honeycomb.

Also a must-try is their loukouroll. A waffle wrapped in a crepe, served with your choice of topping, fresh strawberries and banana and whipped cream. We had the nutella and white chocolate loukouroll and it was absolutely to die for.

Must-try dessert! They also have ice cream, lots of different cold drinks and some savoury pita options :) Staff are so friendly and helpful as well.

It was my first time trying loukoumades and I really enjoyed them. These Greek style donuts are bite-sized fluffy and sweet honey balls, which are deep fried to golden and crispy perfection. It’s hard to pick my favourite as every flavour I tried was yum! If I really have to pick, I’ll go for salted caramel and sweet cheese 😋
They also serve gelato, thick shakes with loukoumades and other sweet treats. Their iced tea is surprisingly so good!

Woah this place is full on with its loukoumades. So many different flavours to choose from and quirky drinks and desserts showcasing more loukoumades. I really liked the texture of the loukoumades and the richness of the chocolate and nutella covered ones. Definitely a dessert parlour you need to bring the whole crew to enjoy.

If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

This place is always buzzing, especially on a weekend. All the locals know, this is place to get your dessert fix. Extensive menu when it comes to Loukoumades, we tried almost everything on the menu as you can see. . My fav was the “White Dream” which was white chocolate, strawberries and almonds. They even made a special dog friendly Peanut Butter for Minnie
Jlovesssfood
Tried out their nutella & strawberries and sweet cheese loukoumades, as well as greek coffee. The loukoumades were chewy, slightly crispy and drenched in the sauce chosen. You can’t go wrong with nutella and strawberries but I liked sweet cheese better as it was more aromatic. The greek coffee was pretty ordinary so don’t worry about ordering it unless you really want one. Would go back for more of those chewy and sweet amazeballs.

Probably my favourite dessert place in my local area. My favourite is sweet cheese: the loukoumades are delightfully light and crunchy, they soak up the melty sweet cheese (which tastes more like a thick cream) and it's soooo good! Not overly sweet either.

White Dream was my favourite from this menu (photo not listed). It comes out nice and warm with the chocolate dripping on top! Perfect for anyone who has a major sweet tooth like myself

Came here for something different for dessert. These loukoumades are best eaten fresh as they harden a lot afterwards which make it difficult to eat. Also very sweet so be sure to have someone else to share these with! However, there is a large range of toppings to choose from which is a plus.

If ever you are in the Beverly Hills area make sure to drop by Loukoumades! I can't stop eating those little yummy donuts. I have been meaning to try it but always on the wrong time. They are only open at 6 pm onwards. And there are days that they are close. We visited it tonight - coz it's Father's day!! Because it is a special day, parking was seriously crazy. So had to order for take away. The place was packed too so getting a seat would be a problem. While browsing on what to order, I was so overwhelmed with all the toppings that goes with it. The lady at the counter (sorry I didn't get her name) was really helpful. And patiently explained their best sellers and best options for what I would like to try.

Since it is my first time to try the donuts, I opted with the classic and the sweet cheese. The classic is simply cinnamon and syrup. We didn't eat it until we got home so the donut was no longer hot and the outer part was a bit tough to bite but it was still so syrupy good. Not too sweet. Just the right sweetness that would make you bite into another. The sweet cheese is actually way way better than the classic. Since, the donuts were drenched with the sweet cheese cream and topped with chopped pistachios, it was pillowy soft and chewy. I couldn't stop eating it. Promise! It was that good.

Aside from those yummy Greek heaven bites, they also serve milkshakes, Greek coffee and Greek tea like Cinnamon and Clove or the Aniseed. Very interesting. I might have to visit them again and try some of their signature drinks.

Donut textured fried balls oozing with sweet syrup! Have them original or drown them with a topping ... my personal fav is Biskoto 🤤🤤 If you’ve got a sweet tooth make a pit stop in Beverly Hills

I ordered the strawberry milkshake it came out and it tasted like water and milk, so I gave it back and they made me another one that tasted very watery still, so I gave it back to them again they re made it for the third time and they still didn’t get it right they added heaps of strawberry syrup it tasted so disgusting. Is it that hard to make a milkshake. Do not recommend this place. And also they put like honey around there donuts it tastes very bitter sweet. Do not recommend this place at all.
Thank you x

You will be in doughnut heaven with Sydney’s new night time Greek Dessert Bar (open 6pm-late), specialising in Greek doughnuts that are called Loukoumades. If you have not tried this Greek dessert before, they are like your regular doughnuts, fluffy on the inside, with a crunchy coating. The traditional option comes with honey and cinnamon, but they also have a range of other flavours too. This dessert bar is located on King Georges Rd Beverly Hills and is a must visit for those with a sweet tooth.

I was really excited about this place as it’s really awesome to have Greek food around! The box of loukoumades you get is big and I like the range of toppings you can get. However, for my liking they were a bit dry and tough to eat and as the only customers in the store it took15 minutes to get ours and for being the only people there that was sort of frustrating. A lot of staff that were standing around and at a certain time as I walked in a staff member pushed past me and didn’t apologise . It wasn’t the most welcoming start and it definitely made me feel uncomfortable

Newest addition to the Beverly Hills strip. Went here on a busy Sunday night. Fresh donuts were being made and I ordered a Frappé and the Chocolate & Strawberries Loukoumades. Wait wasn't long. The frappé was a good hit of strong coffee. Loukoumades tasted perfect- crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Awesome Greek dessert place with a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.

Loukoumades are Greek light doughnut balls traditionally soaked in honey syrup. Today, Loukoumades are topped with everything from lashings of Nutella, salted caramel, crushed pistachios, white chocolate and strawberries.

My family and I came here in need of dessert to complete an amazing night. Located in Beverly Hills, the place looks modern with open brick walls and service was warm and friendly.

You can choose you Loukoumades from classic plain Loukoumades doused with honey syrup to selection of toppings you can choose from. I had the Loukoumades topped with Nutella and strawberries. The Loukoumades were fluffy and they were freshly made. The Nutella was generously drizzled on top. I had them with Greek coffee.

Suffice to say Loukoumades Greek Street is a place that I hope to return to in the near future. Even my kids were confident that we will definitely come back to this place as we bid farewell, I found my kids thanking the staff and told them just that.
