Wow ,, the seafood platter was so fresh .. the best battered I've tasted for a long time .. customer service was great very friendly .. I'd recommend Seafood Tale anytime and if I'm ever down this way again .. I'll be coming back ..
This is probably the best Fish & Chips in the town.
I have been there for so many times and it never fail to get me back to the shop again.
Have brought many friends of mine to the shop and they all love the food there.
Other than the normal fish and chip, I recommend you to try their "Fried Chicken Pop" (Forgot the actual name of it), it becomes a "must order" dish for my every time visiting.

I drive past 2 other fish and chip shops for their fabulous food! Light tasty crumbs .. never oily and fresh fluffy white fish fillets.. yum! Oh and the beer batter chips rival any gourmet restaurant. Lovely owners provide great service also.

It is always rewarding when you google "best fish and chips", drive 45 mins to try it, and end up having an awesome experience. All three of us loved the food and service. You have to try the potato scallop. It's like mashed potato in a crisp coating. So delicious.

As a visitor from the UK where we are meant to be the experts st Fish & Chips. I can highly recommend this business. Not only is the fish freshly cooked but the beer bartered chips are fantastic. Very rare in the UK do you get the choice of grilled, crumbed or bartered. If you are anywhere near (say within 100km) of this restaurant then make the effort to buy your dinner from them. You won't be disappointed

This is the best fish and chips shop in the Redlands. The seafood is always fresh, the chips crisp and the service friendly and courteous. We have hunted for a long time to find somewhere that is consistent with their quality and finally we have found it - keep up the good work Seafood Tale.
Discovered this local Fish & Chips Cafe during our last visit to Brisbane headed to Wellington Point during our holiday.

This Cafe is a hidden Gem in Birkdale , located at Birkdale Plazza next door to Ray White, so do pay attention to finding it

Store was so clean, our meals was OUTSTANDING!!! my husband ordered the Pop corn Chicken, and it was just delicious ( my husband ended up ordered two serves to take away for suppose to be for "our friends to try" .. ended up decided to keep all in his tummy.. ) I had Fish & Salad, Pineapple fritter was so yummy for a hot day with ginger beer!

i highly recommend that you go to this fish and chips store, the seafood is fantastic and is so fresh, the batter is very crispy and the food there is just unbelievably delicious. The seafood tale shop has done an exceptional job at making food very enjoyable. they won't disappoint you.

Fantastic Fresh Seafood!. We heard about this place from our friends that it had some fantastic fresh seafood properly cooked and just had to have a try. But beware! the shop is in a corner of the shopping complex which could be hard to spot. Once there however, the shop is clean and very well presented. The fish appear to be very fresh and well presented, and the prices are reasonable! Everyone is wearing uniforms and appear to be very professional. We ordered a seafood basket for 2. The portion was just right. Kingfish was cooked both crumbed and battered - The batter on both was just right! I've been to so many other shops where oil was just pouring out of the fishes, or the batter was larger than the fish. Here, the batter/crumbs are not thick and overpowering, and the fresh fish smell was stronger than anything. Interestingly the chips served were not a big portion. But boy were we in for a surprise! simply the best chips I've tasted from any Fish and Chips cafe anywhere! We decided we had to get a grilled cod - it is harder to cook and a test of the chef's skills. Surprise! The cod came out and it was seasoned well. It wasn't dried out and the juices were flowing! Also keep in mind that most Fish and Chips stores serve fish with lemon - this place serves it with lime which enhances the flavours even more! definitely highly recommended to all seafood lovers!!
