Review Vast Cafe Kawana - Birtinya

Very nice large covered seating area with a very relaxed feel. Nice coffee and scone.

The food I have tried so far has been great. Cold rolls are fresh, hot sausage rolls the right temp and with a nice pastry. The service has been quick too. I have waited less time here in a long line up than when served at a competitor with no customers. Nice coffee too.

It is beautifully decorated and a lovely casual vibe. The coffee is very good. Sadly a little overpriced for some food. My salmon noodle salad was pretty much all noodles and a tiny bit of salmon and salad. Having said that, it was delicious. But for $14 a little overpriced. Maybe a little music would complete this little haven amongst a plethora of home decor shops surrounding it.

Service not very great. We paid by credit card and had to ask for a receipt the casher grunted at us and reluctantly gave us one. We had to ask for a spoon so we could add sugar to our coffee. The turkey roll came out soggy and there was no table follow-up to see if everything was ok with our food and drinks. The coffee tasted burnt guess they are still learning how to make good coffee. But we will not return for a long while

Ordered bacon and eggs for my daughter and I it was awful and over priced. The eggs were like rubber presentation horrible. Wait staff seemed very young and inexperienced with long false nails which is a health risk in hospitality. Mango and banana smoothie tasted like unripe bananas. A real a shame because I am a regular customer of the nearby shops but I won’t eat there anymore.

Coffee burnt taste. No wedges so ordered gluten free sandwich which came out like a white bread door step. Too much bread. And as we know. GF bread is like cardboard anyway. Had to ask for butter to soften it which never came. Lemon lime pie was nice though

We had excellent service by Jules this morning at Vast Interior, Kawana. Very helpful and friendly service in our purchase of two lounges which were quickly delivered this afternoon, to Toowoomba. I normally hates shopping, but Jules made the experience all very smooth sailing. Result happy husband, and wife was allowed to buy more from the store. We found all the staff friendly in the cafe and highly recommend visiting the store even for a coffee.

We are thrilled with the furniture we have bought from Vast Kawana to refurbish some of our apartments within our resort. Excellent quality at great prices. Perfect customer service also- Thank you !
