The staff were lovely and even offered me a warm blanket if I wanted to sit outside in the sun as it was still only 7C degrees. My chocolate fudge brownie was delicious as was the coffee. Keep up the good work guys!
Very clean and comfortable. Will be a great place to catch up with friends for a special celebration. Love the back room. Love the library aspect. Found a great book which they are holding for me till I take one home to swap. Great idea.

It’s now our go to in Blackburn and we’ve deserted our other fav cos the snacks are lovely, the coffee is great and the service impeccable. Just lovely people so nice to chill there.

Best coffee in Melbourne. Home made croissants are must try. Very friendly , courteous staff. Spacious , clean and very convenient location

I grabbed an opportunistic treat for KD and myself in our walk past for exercise this morning. I have been craving a raspberry white chocolate muffin during isolation as this was at least a weekly treat when I worked in my Docklands office. This version was delightful and a welcomed reunion of taste. I grabbed a ginger bread man for KD as these are her favourite. Must come back when dining in is allowed again.

Fat Cup is the light and bright new kid on the block in Blackburn. Floor to ceiling windows let the light in while sleek copper and stainless steel coffee machine shines up a treat on the white tiled counter/bar. There is a bookshelf with books to read if you have the time and the tables spread out and roomy.
The shop cabinet was full of lovely things and I was immediately drawn to the lemon tart. I asked if there was a menu but was told it’s only what is in the cabinet. This was quite surprising given as given the amounts of seating and the space this cafe takes up I had expected a more extensive options ... perhaps a work in progress?
They have a couple of coffee blends available, their house and their strong blend. I opted for their strong blend and found it to be not that strong so perhaps I need an extra shot no matter what coffee blends are on use these days.
Owner appears to be a nice fellow. One of the staff is a bit rude though...

I wasn't expecting anything because this shop was not crowded like other shops along the street, but I was surpised by the almond croissant.
Extremely delicious stuff with right amount of sweet. There was some paste as filling and it just compliment the croissant as a whole.
The mocha I ordered was okay and fast. Overall, very pleasant experience.
Friendly staff and fast service. This place is very spacey. There are book shelf for some children books so kids and pram friendly. We had just coffee here and it was nice

A fairly new cafe in Blackburn, it has trendy look and lots of space. Food offered on menu is pretty standard, tried the grilled veg roll, was ok. Bit pricey for the serve size and average ambience. Service is good though, friendly staff.
Coffee and freshly made croissant! Yum! Perfect for everyday breakfast! Right outside station very convenient! The shop has a simple yet modern look. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely return.
Very lovely staff, kid friendly environment they can read books when adults having a chat. Limited foods option but still decent. Quick and nice coffee especially a quick cup to grab on the way to work by car/train. Highly recommend.
What a great cafe!!! Just opened in the area.... I have been in a couple of times now, and the service is still impeccable, the food is great (not a huge selection, but definitely more than enough) the croissants that they bake on site are amazing!!! And that’s not even mention the coffee!!!! OMFG the coffee is divine!!!!
I tried the iced coffee today, had to be one of the best!!! I asked for an extra shot, wow!!!!

Some seats inside have access to power to charge phones and laptops. Not too noisy, so can work there, but a little too loud with ambient noise to do conference calls, etc.

I was in the area for my sons tennis so popped in for a coffee, what a great cafe. Lovely staff and good coffee and banana bread. Bonus was free babychino! Will visit again next time I’m in the area.

Great little local gem. Coffee was just right and not burnt like most other cafes. They also have freshly made in house croissants. Staff were really friendly. Worth a visit.
