Buzzing cafe in front of the antique market.
Ginormous portions and great tasting menu, which, by the volume of customers, is a good indication is a good cafe to grab breakfast, brunch and lunch. Coffee is great too!
Ordered their special, beer battered flathead. It was huge. I couldn't finish it.
Without question the best scrambled eggs on earth. Generous fluffy, creamy, golden yellow deliciousness heaped on a generously buttered thick piece of white bread toast. So good I came back the next day to check it wasn’t a fluke. And it wasn’t! Sublime breakfast and great coffee. Perfect!
Popped into Victory Cafe for breakfast after being so impressed by the collection of second hand goods we saw the day before! However sadly the breakfast was a disappointment.
We dealt with some rude staff, and also my ricotta pancakes came out with mushrooms on it and they were no help - implying
Attentive service and wonderful food and coffee!
Ricotta hot cakes are delicious and generous. Bacon and egg roll seemed to have a house-made bbq sauce with a hint of chilli = awesome.
Tea made with actual tea leaves. Good coffee in a thick mug to stay warm in the cold Bluey weather. Would recomme
Great place. Been coming here for years. Coffee great. But took a while to get to us.
The victory breakfast and the ricotta pancakes were great and the waitresses that served us were very nice.
Food are well presented. Cutleries are individually served. Recommended for all to try.
Very expensive, $20 eggs Benedict with just one slice of toast. Cold sauce in a jar with cold salmon (isn't eggs Benedict served with hot bacon or ham?). Gave the counter my feedback, politely, and was told "sorry not my problem" save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else!
