Review Sushi Bay - Blacktown

Has just become one of my starred places. Good service. Good value for money. Easy to order over the phone and pick up from level 4 Westpoint. No wonder why this place is always busy. Love the sushi platter. Try Salmon platter ir inside out platter. There are 66 pieces of sushi in the inside out platter. Each piece is pretty small but the price is ok, $47. Home delivery is fast.

I read the reviews so at first was apprehensive but decided to check it out anyway. I absolutely loved it when I went with my girlfriends. The food was delicious, high quality, diverse range and ordered a few hot dishes off the menu which was even better. Price is what you’d expect at any sushi train, except you get great service and ambience on top. Would definitely go again!

Love this place! Sushi trains are a dime a dozen but Sushi Maru is the only place I’ll go to for succulent Aburi beef, fresh sashimi and excellent service. Both the floor staff (especially Sony!) & kitchen staff (including the manager) are on the ball & welcome any special requests without making you feel like you are troubling them. I can only moan about the fact they do not deliver to my area!

Always order from this place- delicious sushi. The man at the counter tonight i have to say TOP customer service. Very impressed thank you.

Sushi is fresh, and the staff is nice. Ordered takeaway this afternoon, and I only waited for about 5 mins and it was ready

The staff are amazing! We popped in at about 40 minutes to closing yet the staff were so nice! They went around to everyone when it was 10 minutes to closing asking anyone if they would like to have a last minute order. Seriously??? Thats amazing to watch! You guys make your customers feel so welcome. Keep it up!

Friendly staff with attentative service. Always fresh. Lots of options on the train. Clean venue. Try the Wagyu hand roll 👌 we had several of them, they are fantastic! Kid friendly 😊

Staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was great and more than just sushi. The Donburi and udon are wonderful!

There was hair in my food. The kitchen staff don’t wear hair nets. The food was okay but I’m not sure about the hygiene. Sushi quality is pretty average but it’s okay

Formerly Sushi bay was here,they have revamped it to look more pretty! Sushi wise,nil complaints. Pretty standard stuff but I did like the eel in particular

This venue is located on the top floor of Westpoint Blacktown. The decor and ambience are quite modern and they have inside and outside seating area. On top of the ready-to-eat sushi plates on the ‘sushi train’, you can also have made-to-order dishes.<br/>On this first visit we tried variety of their dishes.<br/>Everything was fresh and tasty. What I love:<br/>One of Maru signature dish: salmon with special sauce and parmesan cheese. It’s amazing! Very unique and delicious.<br/>Karaage set: Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. So tasty. The sauce is also very good.<br/>Prawn tempura set: I definitely can’t get enough of these crispy prawn tempura. <br/>Chicken yakisoba: flavoursome.<br/>The other sushi plates were all delightful too.<br/>Will definitely be back to try their other dishes.
