Review Sardaar Saab - Blacktown

Frankly I was a little disappointed. The menus were dirty which left me wondering about the cleanliness behind the scenes. Many menu items were crossed off. The mixed entree portion was tasty but very small. The youghurt was quite watery and other dishes lacked flavour. On the positive side, the decor was modern and the waitress was helpful when not distracted by her phone. The ratings persuaded us to try this restaurant, but I was not impressed.

It’s a very good vegetarian restaurant in Blacktown. Although they are slow in serving and music is very loud, we don't mind going as the food is always fresh and delicious. It is located in a very quiet street with ample parking and hence makes it perfect for a good time with your family & friends.

The food over here was a disaster. It was my marriage anniversary and having food over there just ruined the day. We stay near Parramatta and went there skipping very good Indian restaurants around our place. I would suggest no one going there. Fried rice was sweet with lots of big piece of onion and capsicum and it was not dry. Paneer dopyaja was horrible with burnt onions. Dal Makhani was no near to acceptable taste.

Honest Advice...don't go there! They are understaffed. Took around 2 hours to finish out dinner and their food quality is getting worst day by day..We stopped going there few months back after we had option of Radhe. Today just went to avoid crowd at Radhe and ended up having a bad evening again. Staff is untrained. They even don't know the basic things..like put water or cutlery etc. There was so much salt in one curry and let's don't even talk about their tandoori roti or naan..Their cook don't know how to cook it. I should have taken pictures and post it here... Their toilet is out of order since last 1 year..Seems like they are not interested in the business anymore.

The place is too noisy, with loud unpleasant music. Kids Pizza was a disaster, basically lot of cheese on a chapaathi. Curry was too little too less for that price. Menu torn and sticky. No lights in toilet. Will not visit again unless someone else is paying.

Worst Punjabi food ever, ordered Malai kofta and paneer do piaza. Kofta was okay but Malai/curry was litterally garlic soup. Paneer do piaza had so much of piyaaz than anything else and the onions were not properly Cooked either.

Great quality food - go here from time to time and have my usual preferences: - Amritsari baingan (eggplant dish) - slightly spicy - Palak paneer - Paneer do piazza (curry type I think) My favourite entrée is definitely the cheese balls, served with the tamarind sauce. They also try to accommodate your taste so if you need mild or less spicy you can let them know. Fairly new place and worth checking out!

A good place for vegetarian delights. Highlights are the parathas, makke di roti Sarson da saag. In recent days I have found the food to be more and more oily. Service is something they need to work on. Some trainees they appointed are a total turn off. Food takes a while to come out of the kitchen. But overall you'll still come back for the food.
