Review Blacktown Chopsticks - Blacktown

Best family run restraunt in the area. Good prices and always fresh from the kitchen. High volume of takeaway orders is testament to the quality and value. My favorite is the Cha kuay teow noodles.

So disappointed. The pork spare ribs with spicy salt was like the chef way over cooked a pork leg roast for their family, but instead of throwing it out, they took it to the restaurant cut it into chunks and covered it in the thickest batter they could make, and then over cooked it some more. Also not spicy.. The two chicken dishes we ordered were super average. The meat had not been velveted and were very under seasoned. The only redeeming dish was the fried rice which was mediocre at best. oh and the prawn omelet was okayish but all the sauce ended up in the bag instead of the container. Never aagain. I can only assume their good reviews are from fake accounts of people who work there.

Won’t be back. Ate in. Clean and spacious. Only had 1 host at a front she did a good job but the food very basic. Don’t know where the good reviews came from but must be from people who haven’t tried anything different.

The food was quite good , we were happy .Very well priced too. But don’t go there if you want the Chinese dining atmosphere . It’s a brightly lit box with no Asian ambience at all. I think the radio was playing faintly . The staff dress like they’re ready for bed in their own home and whilst quite polite, Don’t really Get the whole Dining experience concept . They do as much as they need to . Was uncomfortable feeling them leaning at the back of the room staring at us . I get the feeling they’d prefer you ordered to takeaway . But the food WAS very tasty and at a good price .
