Review The Old Boy - Blacktown

An overall score of 78/100 Great variety on the menu and is a standout cafe in the Blacktown area for sure. Food portion sizes are generous on certain dishes (I'm referring to the Big Breakfast). The drinks are really refreshing and served in unique styled glasses. The coffee is not bad, and worth a shout if looking for a decent cuppa in the area. The service is excellent, and they are pet friendly, even giving our two pooches a giant doggy water bowl! Would recommend.

Good location away from busyness. Food not bad, although I waited a while for my breakfast to come out. Eggs not poached well enough. Fyi poor reception in the area

We returned with family and The Old Boys didn’t disappoint us. What are you waiting for? Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, a safe environment where normal every day people would love to dine. In this a place you will find flavours beyond you expectations. I look forward in reading your reviews. Enjoy, life is what you make of it. Waina💋

Had breakfast with my Daughter while in the area and it was a great decision! We were greeted as soon as we entered, was explained to on how to order and we were served quickly. We chose to eat in and we got our drinks and meals really quick and they were correct and delicious. No complaints from us. We really enjoyed everything that was offered to us. Staff were friendly.

The Old boy is a delightful and modern day cafe. Must say that I really loved the limited but exotic and super tasty breakfast menu here. Smashed Avo and scrambled eggs are my favourites. Coffee is equally mind blowing. Highly recommended.

This cute cafe in an unassuming street in Blacktown area. You'd never guess it's there! Not a lot of cafes in the Blacktown area so this is just perfect and really needed. Their breakfast menu is delicious had the big breakfast and orange juice. Everything was fresh and tasty. Really friendly staff as well. Will be back when in the area again 😉

Hidden gem in the west. The venue is so aesthetically pleasing, pot plants, wood, photos and lights hanging everywhere. Has a very industrial/greenhouse nature feel. Con: Abit on the pricey end, counter service instead of table service. Pros: Great customer service ladies were well mannered and patient, Chai loose leaf tea was awesome. Mushroom/Kale stack with egg and goats cheese was perfect - just wish it had an extra serving. Old boy Breakfast was great value for money. Orange juice was legit freshly squeezed, was refreshing to have something genuinely organic. The little teaspoons served with your hot drinks were so cute and was definitely something that gave this place more personality and set it apart from other cafes (antique teaspoons all different great conversation starter), food was delicious and did not feel heavy. Variety of meals and drinks to pick from. Great work, definitely a local place I will be visiting more often.

A little gem which I think locals only know about. In a isolated place this place has nice ambience along with friendly staff. Food wise it’s not bad I had the brekkie burger and milo shake which was to a good standard. Need to come back to try more

Tucked away in suburban Blacktown this cute cafe offers a great menu for breakfast and lunch. From sweet to savory this place is often our go to when we’re in the area. Great feed and coffee is always on point. Definitely worth giving this cafe a try.

Food was delicious, the workers were lovely and service was quick especially for such a small cafe! The place had a great quirky vibe & had customers coming through constantly, to sit in and takeaway.

Decent spot for coffee if you’re in the area. Although the service was very disappointing and the staff seemed to be quite oblivious. They mixed up our order a number of times. Pricing is a bit on the pricer side. Expect to wait for a table if coming in on the weekend.

A really cute little spot in Western Sydney. The staff are nice and friendly. Some of the menu items are overpriced and we have had to wait for long periods when it’s been busy.

amazing food, service and ambience. would undoubtedly recommend to friends and revisit. The food came quickly and was really tasty, the cafe was very trendy and at 9am it wasn’t too busy so our meal was enjoyable.

We showed up unannounced as a party of 10 for brunch and they were so accommodating. The food and coffee is exceptional. This is a hidden gem. We will be back - many times ;)
