Review Burgerfuel Blacktown - Blacktown

Tried this place tonight. Burgers were nice but nothing overly special. We tried the Jekyll and Hyde and The Flying Doctor. The onion rings were very tasty but a small serving. We also ordered sweet potato fries and regular fries. Service was quick enough but it was a little pricey coming in at over $20 per person for a burger and some sides, and no drinks. Just another burger joint with nothing terribly special setting it apart from the rest.

Burger was tasty but presentation was not very good. We ordered fries and they put the complete fries in one of the burger plates instead of providing separate one. Burger was prepared upside down and staff member informed us when order came at our table. They should have prepared it correctly. Overall look of the restaurant is gloomy with less attention on cleanliness. Smell was coming in the dining area and the seats are worn out. This place had a different name previously and was operated much professionally.

Ordered the fried cornflake chicken burger and painkiller burger. Both weren’t bad, and the serving size was definitely generous. Also, can never go wrong with a strawberry thickshake. Staff were nice. Great burger place.

Serving size is generous, but both the TSA Tofu & Hausman Mushroom burgers have room for flavour improvement. A plant based burger pattie & vegan cheese options would be welcomed.

Yummy burgers with average prices and delicious thick shakes!

I love this place, amazing menu, had the cornflack fried chicken and the double painkiller, both delicious! Can't wait to come back!

Ordered some burgers from here via Uber Eats, worst decision. Tiny shred of wilted lettuce, one little sliver of tomato and not even a teaspoon of onion. It really is all bread with hideously sweet condements. Please do yourself a favor and just go to maccas. At least they think to provide napkins with your meal.

Incredible food and also incredible service. Tyler was a remarkable worker and promptly provided us with our delicious meals. Food was great quality, on the more affordable side… really really really good. The interior design of the place is truly great. Wood with faux graffiti makes this place look like a diamond among the bin that is Blacktown. Keep it up, Burger Doctor. I want to see this place make it big.

An okay place to go to fix a burger craving. Not bad but nothing extraordinary and there are definitely better places out there. The burgers do taste good and have flavour but are a little greasy. The fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned and goes well with the aioli. It is a little pricey considering size and portions when you compare it to other burger joints. Other than that, the staff are always so friendly and the wait time is about 5-10 minutes :)

This place is an institution with my kiwi friends and I've been to quite a few of them around Sydney and in New Zealand. We chose this because out of all of the options at the Westpoint foodcourt this one kind of hit home as something a little more interesting.

If you upgrade to a meal you can't change the standard fries for sweet potato fries. That kinda sux! The sweet potato fries look burnt but that's the I meant to be. That aioli is amazing.

both burgers were packed with fresh ingredients, both were juicy and large! these really hit home with great tastes. they even have the "Doofer" - a coffee collar cardboard used to cup your burger. awesome!

The staff are friendly, the music is good and the place is decorated pretty cool. Went here several times and tried different burger every time. I’ve found the burgers just average and a bit on the expensive side. On my last visit I had Bastards. It’s one of their ‘biggest’ burger. Taste ok but not extraordinary.

The store is so cute and is nicely furnished and decorated. They have magazines to read while you wait too. The staff are friendly and the service is fairly fast.
There is a variety of burgers to choose from and they have really nice combinations of ingredients. The burgers taste amazing and I love the sauces as well!
This is one of my favourite places to eat in Blacktown.

One of my favorite burger place in Sydney.
The BASTARDS is the best.
Not to forget the motobites, it's sooo YUM!!
Kept on coming back for those two.
A bit pricey cause they do not have it in combo however worth the money.
👍👍👍👍👍👍

I was in the area and wanted to see what Blacktown was like (I'd never been) so I called in to Westpoint and low and behold @burgerfuel were in the place ready to serve 👊

Quad American Muscle: 4x grass fed beef, melted cheese, sliced sandwich pickles and mustard aioli 🍔

Simple as it comes 👏 I nearly tried the new cornflake crusted chicken but I wasn't really feeling it today. Next time guys ✌

Inspired by Sunil as he has been eating Vege burgers all over Sydney (admittedly at the same places but different suburbs) I thought I might go Vege burger exploring myself

I tried there "moto bites" which is similar to the v dub Vege burger but there bites are fried and come with aioli dip. I prefer the softer version of the burger. It's a more traditional Vege burger you would get at other places which had Chick pea and Pumpkin in it. Still reminds me of "bubble and squeak" that you could get at the supermarket

The V twin Vege burger, initially I thought this was good. It's a different as it has mushroom and kumara in it but the more I ate it,the more I started to dislike it,a strange turn of events. Still it's a decent alternative to the V dub Vege burger

I haven't had a chance to try the combustion tofu burger though

At $11 a burger it's expensive for what you get.

At least there is a vegetarian option here but this wouldn't be enough to convert me to becoming a full time vegetarian

July 2015
I think it's nothing special here too
Tried a few of there chicken burgers but nothing stands out
Prices are a expensive for what you get
And service is a little slow here
I do like the look of the place but with it so wide open that this cold will get to you even if you sit inside

For a gourmet burger it did not taste gourmet-y at all. Not being hungry but enticed at the sight of the burgers on the menu we opted for 'the bastard'. According to the menu the burger was supposed to have avocado, beetroot, mango including salads and other relishes. While the burger looked scrumptious, the burger was too sweet. The beetroot overpowered the beef patty way too much and the mango seemed to be missing. With too much of sticky mashes the burger was mushy and everything kept on spilling. Even though the food was not up my alley, the store's location is in a pretty sweet spot and quite relaxing up on the terrace.

Not sure why the previous couple reviewers were unimpressed but we came for a quick work lunch and we loved it. I got the chicken backfire or whatever it's called lol and it was delicious' fresh and yummy and just like home made. Pure breast piece and hot crunchy chips. What more can you ask for :)

Poor quality. Don't go here, it's a waste of money. Just buy from Maccas....this isn't grass fed for sure.

Nothing special, not enough flavour on the burger and yet too much salt. You can get a better burger at the takeaway....couldn't tell it was grass fed, tasted like cheap ground beef to me. Good staff though, quick service and friendly.
