Review Chicken King - Blacktown

A local standout, everything on the menu is fantastic. The mushrooms even make a solid option for vegetarians. Plus there's some dark magic with the gravy that makes it unique, and impossible to resist.

I went to get food here and asked for something off menu. It's fair that they didn't have it but what they said made me leave without ordering. Apparently all of their chicken and gravy rolls are made up ahead of time. Yuck!

I had the two pieces with chips ($6.50 on Monday and Tuesday). The chips and chicken are cooked fresh, the chips are flavourful with a good helping of chicken salt - and they are also crunchy. One good thing as well is that they give you a plastic bag so you don’t carry around the container. The staff are friendly and service is really good.

Hands down the best chicken, chips and gravy I have ever eaten.

Always great food very unique taste with there chips

The two piece and chips have been my favourite for years. Pretty sure the owner saw my grow up since I’ve been coming here since high school. The chicken salt is so good can’t find it tasting like this anywhere else. The gravy and the chicken as so good and even the nuggets too.

A local favourite. Chicken is always has crispy skin and a moist interior. Gravy is popularly served on the chips. I prefer them crispy and dip them in. Ask for your chicken spicy and they add a spicy powder on the chicken.

This place has honestly the best chips and gravy. I’ve been eating there chips since my dad first brought chips from there which was like nearly 10 years ago. And there chips salt mixed with gravy is out of this world. PS if you like a lot of salt and want extra request the HEART ATTACK SALT!

Chicken King, Terrible Chicken<br/><br/>I find it shocking that I have found one of the worst fried chicken Restaurant in Sydney. Where should I start, I would not recommend to eat in this place.<br/><br/>First of all the chicken is plain, there's no season in the chicken except for the batter. It has little to no flavour and it was disappointing. Secondly, the chicken is dry, it taste like if you left a chicken outside for more than 2 hours and let it dry like no tomorrow, disgusting. Third of all, the chips was plain and had a weird lemon after taste.<br/><br/>I hope that this place would improve and make their products better.

Chicken king has been a part of my childhood and has pretty much been a prominent food outlet in my life. The staff are super friendly and prices are low and affordable, plus the food is super delicious especially the gravy. A little bonus for chicken king is the monday and tuesday deals that they have as it makes their best sellers cheaper

Chicken king is good if you're looking for a greasy hangover meal or just feel like having a fatty meal. It's chips have the lemon flavour and they're the best! The chicken is ok. Can't expect much for the prices you pay. Deep fried mushrooms are a must!

Chicken king has been at Woodcroft shopping centre for a very long time. It offers no frills bbq chicken<br/><br/>There quarter chicken looks smaller than what you would get from red rooster. It's taste was nice but the meat was a little hard <br/><br/>The chicken burger is simply put together,they use the chicken meat from there fried chicken and the bun is quite soft. Nothing much <br/><br/>There garlic sauce has sum lemon taste to it<br/><br/>The best was the Potato salad,not sure if it's due to not having this for a while but I liked it and the creaminess <br/><br/>This time around the food came out really fast<br/><br/>It's a popular place and Does have seating but it's only just ok for me
