Abyssinia Ethiopian Resturant - Blacktown - Photo album

Tasty food! First time having ethiopian and it was really good. Big plate to share and using hands to eat takes a bit of getting used to. It was too acquired of a taste for my husband tho.
It is always so good to eat here. This time we brought another friend with us and he enjoyed the food as well. It was his first Ethiopian food. Will definitely keep recommending.
Preety decent Ethiopian joint in Sydney .not many out there .but this small cosy cafe/restaurant is nice & low key.with a nice host & & small & sweet Menu .do try the fish & beef along with the coffee 😊👍🏽
This is a very different dining experience. You're thrown in the deep end with many dishes that you have never heard of with many vegetables you've never heard of. I highly recommend the experience. The meat dishes are great.
Ultimate Abyssina Combination was soooooooo good! Highly recommended. Also chef was very accommodating for larger group, extra pancakes :) desert was delicious too. Thank you soo much
Food and ambience was great and the place is decorated with traditional Ethiopian things making it a lovely setting to have a meal! The portion size of the vegetarian platter is huge. Although recommended for two people, it can easily feed four. Some of the lentils could have had a bit more flavour/
This was a great find and the food was excellent. The waitperson explained the different foods and suggested a share plate of meat and vegetarian which were superb. My only advice would be for them to provide a bit more detail on the menu, as it's hard to know what you are ordering if you are not
The most amazing meal I have had in a very long time. We were a group of six and ordered the vegetarian combo and everybody enjoyed each one of the curries and got full. Really healthy, varied and well presented. I totally recommend the place to anyone enjoying a traditional, ethnic meal.
