Review The Brewhouse Maryong - Blacktown

Only 2 deserts in the menu ..they look good and that's it, the place itself looks good but so dirty, the coffee taste awful, the hot chocolate taste like vegetable oil mixture and the play area is an infection hazard full of dirt and not hygienic whatsoever. I gave 2 stars out of respect to the interior designs and lighting of the place but it missed 3 stars for everything else. For a place that is opened in the last couple of years its already so deteriorated and I don't recommend it for any family who is keen for the kids health. Maybe its good as a drinking place or to watch football but anything else is a no.

I come here regularly for the food! Some of the best pub grub you’ll find in the west. A great venue and the service is lovely - always greeted with a smile and great customer service!

Had lunch there with my Family. Excellent food and big servings. I had a chicken parmigiana which was tender and tasty. My Son had the chicken Schnitzel which was also very tender and tasty perfectly cook. Well run hotel. Recommended for a visit. Great value for money.

What happened to your steaks? Last year from January- June 2021, they were amazing, the cut, the quality, so unreal but since Jan 2022 they have changed. They are now chewy and sinewy. Did you change your supplier? The fat parts used to be so good they would melt in your mouth, not anymore. A much poorer quality steak we are unable to finish now. Such a shame! We preferred attending Marayong hotel over the Australian brewery at Rouse Hill every week because you had better steaks but that’s over now. We paid $38 each for a piece of steak we could only eat half of. It’s not your chefs, they are amazing. They can only do so much with a cheap cut of steak. If we are going to splash out almost $100 to treat ourselves for dinner, we should at least be able to finish it. But the steak is simply too chewy and unpleasant now. What happened?

The good news is that this place looks amazing after the refurbishment. Bar and wait staff were as always friendly and approachable. All the food items on today's visit were way below standard. 2 salads ordered and were soaking in the cheapest dressing that totally made salad feel like a soup. Make sure you return food you think is unacceptable.

Had a fantastic meal at Marayong this week- Smokey, delicious, perfectly cooked steaks, the chips are crunchy and not soggy like at other pubs, and the service was exceptional even though the place was packed! A really great vibe. The beer on tap was really great quality. Definitely returning with our families.
