Review New Turban Restaurant - Blacktown

Drive 20 minutes out of our way for New Turban. Used to wait 10 minutes here and have fantastic food. New owners, and now we are told the food would be ready in 30 minutes but had to wait over an hour! The couple in front of us waiting 90 minutes. Food has gone from spectacular to average. You've lost us as regular customers.

Not even one star worthy. The worst service and meal I have ever had in the 25 years of dining out regularly. Portions sizes meant for 4 people did not even satisfy 2! Desert portions were even worse. Went to Coles straight after dinner. Eat at your own risk there will be repocussions all night long!!! This is not an exaggeration but an accurate account of our evening.

Terrible customer service. My friend and myself went in during peak dinner time on a week day. One of the two seater tables had a dirty tablecloth and the other two were seated really close together. Since it was completely empty we decided to sit at a 4 seat table. The man came up to us and said "there is only two of you and this is for 4 people.. move" and he used his head to show us away from the table. We go to a tight seated 2 seater and he gives us our menus with attitude. We got up and left. We got a glimpse of the menu before leaving and its over price anyway. Also according to a friend we told the portions were tiny. I have told every one i speak to of this terrible service and i would rate less than one if i had the option.

The best Indian restaurant I know of out west. We used to live in the area, and now I still drive out here because the food is so ridiculously good. Lots of other places give you a few pieces of meat swimming in buckets of sauce. Not these guys. I hope they never change anything, because this is Indian perfection right here.

1st - I ordered 2 lunch meals online and was told its without roti so i said thats fine il pay for roti when i arrive. 2nd - i get home and find the rice and curry is together which i noted online not to do. 3rd - I'm without 2 items per meal which i was entitle to as per the deal online which still exists 4th - I taste the butter chicken and the sauce tastes like chicken in a tomato sauce without any spice at all. I could tell when i first looked at it that it was going to be terrible. 5th - I taste the goat and I'm fine with bones but if the meat is not falling off the bone then thats not right. 6th - 4 years ago i ate here ordered a beef curry and it was so tough i never returned until today... they had a revamp so i thought owners might have changed, but obviously not. IM NOT BEING MEAN BUT THESE GUYS NEED A REAL COOK/CHEF THEIR CURRY IS A JOKE... THEY WOULD NOT LAST 5 MINUTES IN QUAKERS HILL OR THE PONDS, WHICH HAVE SOME GREAT CURRY. YOU WILL NEVER SEE THIS... FACE......... A .... GAIN

Service was very poor. Taste of food is average. Did not have enough ice to keep champagne bottle cool. And not the right equipment to fit the bottle in. Gave us 4 pieces of ice and some water to keep it cool.

Seekh kebabs served uncooked, when informed to restaurant manager he didn't agree with it. I told him we threw them into the bin and he replied what you want me to do about it? I tried to bring his attention to potential health risk with consuming raw/uncooked food, he acted like dealing with aliens and hang up the phone.
