Review Grange Buffet - Blacktown

Surprisingly tasty dishes for a buffet. Good customer service. Affordable pricing. Heaps parking. I didn’t expect the foods to be delicious as it is a buffet. And considering the cheap price. But kudos to the Chef and kitchen team members. About 80% of the food choices are surprisingly delicious. I’m impressed!

Terrible was one of the best Buffets out west but has gone down hill big time. No icecream machine just a scoop of vanilla icecream with no toppings or flavours. Sushi train was not on no carvery meat very poor selection. The honey chicken and sweet and sour pork was hard looked liked it had been reheated from the night before. They did cook up some kebabs that look alright because nothing else was but never put them out . Must have saved them for the following day Will not be going back again

Cheap buffet at $18 per person for lunch. Not many options but pretty decent for the price. Recommend booking ahead as there was quite a wait.

Ok so went here on Friday night at 6.30pm,so wasn't very busy, lots of staff cleanliness was pretty good, cutlery was what you were given when you came in,plates were hard plastic, no free water on offer only bottomless soft drink so if you want water no glasses available, then the food,as it wasn't that busy we were hoping for hot food the roast meats available were cold the chicken nuggets were hard and cold though the fish fingers were fresh, seafood was limited and not alot available, the sushi train had a small selection, the other items of food were tasteless and not very pleasant, the spring rolls would be the only thing I'd say were good the deserts were all mainly served it little plastic sauce containers and no ice cream machine, not good, then if you want coffee well one out of the 2 machines worked with 3 buttons on offer, the seating was hard and I felt like I was in a school cafeteria rather than a buffet restaurant on a Friday night. The price point $25 for members and $29 non members in my opinion there are definitely better around for that price. The place seems tired and in need of some renovations and updates, lots of potential for its location but food quality and overall experience is definitely a no for a return visit from the 4 of us that went.

Utterly disappointing buffet, long queues, shorter opening hours, poor Covid managed service, most staff were nice but feel maybe they are instructed to slow the pace/portions = have to pretty much beg to get a reasonable serving and the food was not great, miss the old Bungaribee buffet, give this place a miss if you can. Had to specify quantity otherwise would get two or three pieces at best, the terribly roast chicken "two wings". I hate wasting food but this is all the "inedible" left behind, didn't even bother to touch dessert.

Reserved a table but arrived a bit late as I accidentally made a wrong turn driving there. The manager or the server were really hostile when we tried to apologise and explain our lateness. Ruined the mood of the dining experience after that. Food also wasn't anything that spectacular. Nothing that really stood out and nothing to be going back for. Not great.
