Review Passage To India - Blacktown

Ordered the fish and garlic prawns for starters. Fish was very fresh and prawns were good. Lamb for mains was well prepared. Overall happy with the place

Quiet restaurant, hardly anyone dining on a Saturday night. However, the food is cheap and delicious. A hidden little gem.

Rude staff, expensive food with not so good taste. Butter chicken was so thick and the other lamb curry we ordered full of potatoes only 3 piece of lamb. Terrible food and customer service.

The food was bad, oily, bland, and worst of all, ordered lassi that came in a BOX!!! Who sends lassi in a box???? Also ordered kulfi that cost $5 that came in a TINY box. Expensive too. Totally wasted my money! Never ever going to order food from there!

Ordered Butter chicken and Beef curry for takeaway. They tasted pretty much the same, only different meats. Curry sauces were thick and heavy. Nothing special to make me go back for more.

The best butter chicken I ever had. Don't expect great ambience but this place serves the food that is best in quality and taste.

Been going here for years its seems the naan bread is always stale, lukewarm or reheated they really need to lift there game after reading the google reviews. The restaurant also needs more atmosphere to consider dining in. No cutlery is ever with the take away or offered

Pretty good food here. But would say take away is more popular. Food is tasty and worth the price.
⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️

Hard to rate because I only ordered the daal. It was ok a little watery but had decent taste. Food came out at a reasonable rate and prices are fair

Ordered chicken tikka masala and got a bonus strand of hair in the dish. It was long, brown dyed hair. Disgusting. Paid $15 for the shit. I'll never eat food from this place again.

One of the BEST Indian dinners I have EVER had!. I ordered a Butter Chicken and rice and 2 cheese Naan breads. Being the VERY fussy eater I am, I was a little hesitate in ordering from somewhere I have never eaten before. I googled Indian Restaurants in Blacktown and found a few. I went with Passage To India, as the title sounded more authentic.
I am very particular in the way I like my Butter chicken.. Some in the past have been awful. Same goes with my cheese Naan. Once at home I quickly tried the Naan.... And it was sooooo good and EXACTLY the way I like it.. Very cheesy and "Aussie"... Real melting cheese and cooked to perfection... Not burnt. This set the scene for the Butter Chicken. Rice was again, cooked to perfection, and the Butter Chicken was damn amazing. I had the Mild Butter Chicken and I could not fault it... Just heaven... Not fancy and overdone with extras like some Indian outlets do with their Butter Chicken. It was just creamy and very very good!. Very Happy. And now I have found my favourite Indian restaurant close to home. If you like simple Indian food that is to die for, I recommend this restaurant. 10/10.
