Review Tingha Palace - Blacktown

The service was fast, helpful and friendly. Everything was cooked well. The broccoli and snow peas included in our main dish were nice and fresh. Mixed entree was excellent. We have eaten here several times and the food has been consistently good.

Confusing service from staff. Banquet meal on menu said minimum for 4 people ($28pp), but when we asked if we could only have one portion, they said yes, so we ordered that plus a full duck course for the rest of the group. However, they started serving the banquet meal for every person. Luckily, it started with soup and we could cancel the rest. Ended up paying for expensive soup individually, but could've ended up worse, with an absurd amount of food. Food itself was decent but a bit pricey for the quality.

Absolutely horrid! Service was atrocious and food was way undercooked. I have been to many club restaurants and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had.

Friendly attentive service without being overbearing. The food coming out of the kitchen smelt amazing and the food to reach the table was very tasty. Our table of 4 thoroughly enjoyed it and would return again.

Dropped in without a reservation on a night when many parties were having pre-show dinner and staff were busy ensuring they all managed to make the show. We were served fairly quickly, the food was hot, freshly cooked and delicious as always.

Over 45 minutes to order Ask the staff and was told that i just have to wait. Wait 1hour and over heard me booking at a new restaurant and ran over and ask if she could get us to stay. Give us one bottel of cheap red wine for free The meals came out straight way as everyone had there's meals in the restaurant All up over $250 of food and drinks for a party of 8 I will tell you we won't be back We are happy to take our money elsewhere

The A La Carte option of the Blacktown Workers complex, its a nice change of scenery from the popular buffet next door. In terms of price, for the same amount if not less there is a wider choice next door. However having a meal cooked to order in my opinion far outweighs the mechanics of any buffet and i do understand why the Workers club customer would be quick to notice any shortfall in the service expectation and how it aligns to the 'Workers Club' experience as a whole (gaming, live entertainment and dining). Is it a restaurant problem or is it a Blacktown Workers HQ management problem? Is there even a problem at all if the past reviews are anything to go by? Im easy and not too fussed with the service here. Its similar to many places offering the same cuisine youll go to anywhere else around Sydney. But the food is good. Beef and Black bean wasnt as chewy as the buffet version, crispy spring rolls, nice steam without overcooking the dimsims and there was actual pork and justbperfectly light batter on the sweet and sour.

My In laws have been visiting this place every week for 30+ years. We have been on many occasions with them, but the last 4 times were absolutely disappointing. Service, what service? They changed the menu so the retirees no longer know what to order and then they sell them expensive dishes they can not eat. The portions have shrunk, last time asked for a bottle of water 3 times before it came. They were rude and treated my father in law like a drunk. These people have no idea about respect and care for the elderly/seniors. No patience, and almost mocking him. I have wanted to complain for awhile, bring back the other staff that have been serving for (one of them) 30 years from when it was downstairs. Shame on you BWC for not honouring these retired people who have paid your wages for far too long. Tingha Palace Parramatta is 10 x better!! My advice, give this place a wide berth, if you dont believe it, just check on a saturday night- its totally empty these days.

Worse customer service ever, didn't even set foot past the do we were greeted with a "No, not right now!". Meanwhile looking at the five tables that were empty...

I am a member of BWC and would not recommend this eatery to anyone.<br/>The worst Chinese I have ever eaten. Such a shame as at present there is nowhere to eat in the club other than the bistro and the buffet. So when we go to a show we mostly eat elsewhere first. I am surprised that the operators haven't been given the heave ho years ago.
