Review Montagna Cafe - Blackwood

Had a great chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Served by two friendly staff. A good dinner out for sure. Also had a open yiros sandwich a few weeks back. Delicious.

Good food and they were happy to help out making breakfast at dinner for one of my kids. Rae the proprietor is a really nice lady. And they have heaters outdoors, which was handy for my two old friends from Newcastle.

Good baristas, good service, free tap water during heat stress. They honour Anzac day traditions (lest we forget). Open 8-8pm 6 days a week, Sunday 8-3.

Beautiful Cafe, Amazing pasta... Very professional and hospitable staff members. And in my opinion, right in the heart of one of the best communities in SA. A++++++++👍❤️

Very disappointed. It was the second visit, both times the meals were not right. The first time the wrong schnitzel was served and today the mains came before the entree. No action was taken to correct this. We had to rush to eat everything warm. At checkout, the Manager, must be the owner, did not even try to make good. Very disappointing. We like to support local business, but not that restaurant anymore,

They made me pay $10 corkage for a non alcoholic bottle of wine I brought byo because they don't have many non alcoholic options on their menu. Food was average. $20 for carbonara. If you want good Italian pasta and pizza in the south of Adelaide look on Google reviews for restaurants with a rating above 4.5 stars. This restaurant is not rated very high in comparison with other restaurants in the area for a reason.

Didn't get to have mothers day lunch. Was told to wait outside for 15 minutes then come back. Have cancer and needed a chair and drink. Was still told to leave and comeback. In all the years of working in hospitality I have never asked a customer to leave for any reason.

Really enjoyed the char grilled samon served with sweet potato mash, brocollini and char grilled sweet corn. Yumm. Enjoyed every bite. Service staff friendly and polite and the coffee was great. Will definitely be coming back. 👍

Great place for a meal. A warm friendly place and the atmosphere is relaxing. The food is brilliant, well priced and presented well, the staff are awesome.

Disappointing. The salmon fetuccine was very poor, as if whoever had prepared it just couldn't be bothered. The salmon itself was very salty, they hadn't even bothered to grate the cheese — it was covered with slices and lumps, and the tomatoes were thrown in whole on the side as if they were an afterthought. I have been here a few times before and never had a meal as bad as this. If this is what this "restaurant" has come to then it'll be a long time before I come again.

One of the treasures of Blackwood. Alway delicious food on their menu Excellent staff and wonderful owners. Faves are defiantly the scotch fillet burger and try the Pavlova it's amazing and their new selection of ice creams and gelato taste fantastic.

Fantastic service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Our server went above and beyond and food was excellent too. Highly recommended!

Just had dinner collected- Very disappointed. Garlic bread supposed to be "thick sliced ciabatta" got regular bread with sesame seed top & doesn't seem to have much garlic. Marinara - "local black mussels, prawns( 3 in 1)bug tail (missing in both)calamari... We have had this meal from here before & usually great but this is appalling.

We've been in Adelaide 3 weeks now, and the is the BEST meal we've had so far!! The service was wonderful - extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing!! The portions are huge! When the kids meals came out, I was impressed and then the 'adult' meals came out and I was stunned! All cooked fresh to order, very quickly. I cannot wait to return. And, to top it off, a meal for 3 adults and 2 kids with a bottle of wine and puddings was under $120. THANKYOU! X
