A decent bowl of noodles. Wouldn't go so far to say that it's the best in whole of Sydney, but it is a really good bowl of ramen if you're in the area and wanting a nice comforting bowl of noodle soup.

They've got heavy, rich (but not thick) tonkotsu soup and it was hard to fault any of the ingredients. The price seemed a bit high but in addition to the high quality, they really pack the ingredients into the bowl, including 3 good slices of pork and so much veges that I had trouble finding the noodles at first. Some of the best ramen in Sydney for sure. Seems to open at 11:30 as stated on the website, even though the signs say 12pm.

Good soup base very flavourful, every sip worth savouring. The noodles have a very nice consistency to them also and gyoza’s where perfectly cooked.

Ryo’s noodles has become our go-to place when my partner and I crave for ramen! Must try their No 2, its one of their most popular ramen and has become our all-time favourite!!

If you feel like something different, they also do great fried rice 👍

With all the hype surrounding this place, I said I would go here when they first opened in Bondi Junction (as I live in the area and never got to their original store) but finally at lunch today, with my son dragging us to Ryo’s, I finally got to try their famous ramen.

When we first got there there was no tables available as it’s quite small inside with only a few tables outside. We were told it would be a 5 min wait and before we knew it, we were seated inside and looking at their top 5 popular ramens. We ordered their karaage chicken which many diners were ordering as well
as kids ramen for my son and the pork miso ramen for my husband and I to share (this was our second lunch). Springy noodles and flavoursome broth, it was a good ramen. Their chicken also tender on the inside with a crunchy batter on the outside.

I definitely want to go back to try their spicy ramen next.

I love how authentic the flavour of the broth! I chose pork soy sauce flavoured soup ramen which was their number one recommended dish! I also love their karaage fried chicken! It was really juicy and crispy at the same time. The staffs were polite and friendly to us as well. What a pleasant experience!

Ramen ninja!!

one of the best place for Ramen! Intense and rich broth which may be mistaken for salty. If you don't like salty please ask for the special Half and Half this will make it less rich and salty. Other wise you can get the shoyu base which is lighter.

chewy bouncy noodles with deep intense stock brings you to Japan without burning your wallet. come early or else it will be a long wait.

until next time ... keep eating!!

Springy and perfectly cooked noodles. Tonkotsu(Pork) soup is sufficiently thick and very flavoursome. Their Chicken based broth is light yet tasty. Two styles of broth, double the reason to come back again.Must try their Kaarage(Fried Chicken), it is the lightest, fluffiest, tastiest chicken around.

Amazing handmade fresh Ramen. Soup is thick and flavoursome but a little overpowering after a few mouthfuls. I still demolished my meal though because the noodles were awesome

We had the ramen + soba noodles, just popping by after a shopping trip at Myer Bondi Junction.

It was our first time here at Ryo's. This little joint reminds me of when I was in Tokyo. Quintessentially Japan. The ramen broth was thick and delicious. A tiny bit salty.

And we even got some Chicken Karage. Can't say no to fried chicken. Ate every tiny crumb that was left after we demolish the plate. Yum!

Everyone is extremely friendly. Amazing service!

I have a confession to make. I don’t like ramen. I’ve tried the one from Chase Kojima’s pop up ramen store while it was at The Star. I’ve even tried Gumshara three times. I just don’t like this style of Japanese noodle soup. Imagine the shock and disbelief on my Japanese friend’s face as I told her while we were in the midst of consuming some. I couldn’t bring myself to admit it, what kind of foodie am I if I cannot find at least one style I would agree with? At Ryo’s Noodles their specialty is ramen but given my affliction, crunchy and juicy Fried chicken is perfect comfort food. So is the Japanese style beef curry rice with chicken cutlet served with a huge ladle of aromatic, spiced curry sauce.

It's pretty good japanese ramen. Little bit too salty however the consistency of the noodle and taste of the pork is great. Not so many queue like the one in crowsx nest.

I also tried their gyokai tonkotsu ramen ($15 – no.5 on the menu), which is a double soup ramen with pork bone broth and fish broth. The broth had a milky consistency with light pork and light fish flavours. The shio based tare gave the broth some depth. The noodles were the same with toppings such as two slices of chashu, shallots, fried shallots and ajitama. I love my thicker and intense tonkotsu broths but I really liked this ramen. Maybe because I'm bias to gyokai tonkotsu but it was just amazing.

Awesome; another place serving ramen in Bondi. I love a tonkotsu broth. This restaurant is very basic looking, but I don't come here for the decor. The tonkotsu broth is flavoursome filled with ramen noodles and comes with the usual trimmings including char-siu pork, nori, eggs, shallots and sesame seeds and if you like add condiments pickled ginger, chilli oil or powder. The gyoza here are also nice as are the rice cakes. I am not usually one to crack a tinny, but a can of kirin seems fit at this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions decent. I always leave a little over full, in a good way. If you have a decent apetite and are craving a good soup hit this place up.

The special ramen is a blast of balanced flavour. Perfect amounts of umami, fish, pork and soy. Topped with two half eggs, nori, sesame seeds, and melt-in-your-mouth chashu/pork belly, this ramen has all the makings of something seriously good. And priced at $15, it's cheaper than a similar ramen at Ippudo. Most bowls are actually cheaper, priced around 13-14 each. The gyoza we had was also quite good, though not up to the level of Chaco.

Friendly service and consistent delicious ramen. They're filming, salty, and generous with the noodles - emphasis on salty. Rice balls are nice and filling as well but wasn't expecting the pork to be shredded but that's okay 👍 Cheap with most things below $20.

This Historic Noodle House has sprouted up in Bondi junction.
Ebley street right next to Service Nsw.
For those Japanese Ramen Aficionados who don't want to drive to Crows nest or even the CbD to experience Ippudo this place is a winner!!
Winter is approaching and there is no better place to warm the cockles of your heart.
Superb Soup / perfectly cooked noodles
Speedy service for those who are time pore.
The Chicken & Pork meat was soft juicy & super flavoursome.
I now have a secret hideaway for winter.

Ryo's opens up in Bondi Junction, transporting their magical style of ramen and tonkatsu sandwiches with them. While Ryo's in North Sydney often served as a Saturday lunchtime ramen destination for us, the location and limited opening hours where always a little inconvenient. So opening up a store in Bondi Junction, with a whole different set of opening times (Sunday, yay!), suits us right down to the tomago.

Best ramen in Sydney! Tried a lot of different famous ramen places in town (including Ryo's in north Sydney), this is definitely the best. Can't fault at all, the flavour is there, whatever the ramen is named with, you can definitely taste it on your tastebuds. I had one of the fish and pork...

The pork broth was slightly gooey but that means heaps of collagen from pork bones, which was great. The noodles were al dente. How I like it and the char side. Mmmm succulent! The meat was tender and the fat was melt in your mouth. We tried the fried chicken and it was cooked to perfection. It's a modest ramen shop with its original shop in Crows Nest. It's an in between from Menya and Gumshara A must try if you are into ramen!

Ordered no. 5 (soy flavour) and no. 1 last Saturday for lunch. Once the noodles came, we all ate in silence (signs that we are enjoying very good foods!) :) in 15 minutes, the noodles were all gone, the soup was finished and the bowl was left empty. We smiled at each other, nodding silently and promised to come back again as soon as we can :)

I have heard about the reputation of Ryo’s Noodles in Crows Nest for quite a while. However, travelling across the bridge just to enjoy a bowl of ramen isn’t exactly at the top of my list. Fortunately, they open an outlet a lot closer to home. Ryo’s Noodles just (literally) opened yesterday, 8 October 2015, in Bondi Junction! There were no big fanfares that accompanied the opening. Just a simple, business as usual with a few flyers being handed out.

Nice cozy ramen shop discovered via EatClub. The Tori Shoyu Ramen was very good though would recommend traditional ramen over the rice noodles (gluten free) as the texture is quite different but the soup bases still taste similar. The Tako Karaage was also good.

This place has probably the best Ramen in the Eastern Suburbs. I tried the Classic Ramen and it was tasty and delicious. The Ramen noodles were fresh and the fried octopus was well seasoned. They are now open Sundays for lunch and dinner which is a big plus.

Run by Japanese staff, Ryo's Noodles delivers homely, authentic ramen reminiscent of the street side stalls in Hokkaido and Tokyo. Would definitely recommend the Miso Tonkotsu Ramen, Fish Stock Ramen, and the Gyoza.
