Great Greek food
This family owned restaurant is a hidden gem!
Nice presentation, very tasty & excellent service. We shared entrees of dips, dolmades, haloumi and spanakopita. Main course we had the Olympus Plate with extra skewers of lamb, chicken & pork and a lovely bottle of Retsina wine.
It’s located close to train station.
We highly recommended 😊
Didn’t think I’d like the food here as much as I did but I am definitely a fan now! Ordered the lamb gyros pita and struggled to finish so was well worth the money. Flavours are authentic and I will be returning for more.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night. It was not particularly busy, just a few customers. We ordered the Olympus plate for 4 which we shared amongst 3 and managed to finish it all. Very nice kebabs and haloumi. Lots of other meats to enjoy and of course chips. The main thing missing is vegetables from this plate. Most other items on the menu are also vegetable averse. My son especially enjoyed dinner here. We finished with some desserts, the highlights being the custard slice and the chocolate dessert called kormos. I liked the halvas but the others were less keen on it. All in all a nice meal at a good price.
Lunch here is convenient and it’s normally quick .
They have lots of Uber orders mainly so you’ll have plenty of space to sit.
The souvlaki and gyros pitas are tasty ! Meat is really nice .
I wouldn’t recommend the vegetarian option as the price is almost the same and it’s mainly salad .
I loved my lamb gyros and I added some eggplant dip , it had a homemade taste to it !
Located on Bronte Road close by Bondi Junction Westfield, there is seating available inside or a lot of takeaways I saw. Check the menu, place your order and make payment at the counter. They’ll bring the order out to you.
Service was pretty good. Had a Souvlaki Plate which had a choice of pork, chicken or lamb. I went with lamb which was a bit more expensive but tasted pretty good. It came with tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce, some warmed up Greek pita bread, and choice of chips or salad. I went with chips but they were slightly soggy so would’ve been better off with salad.
All in all it’s a decent place to grab a quick bite to eat.
I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this little place after entering, and I will go back!
The ambiance is ok. There is a good selection of little Greek delicacies on the side (like vanilla in a jar), but the essentials were excellent. Pita bread authentic and perfect. The chips were real hand cut potatos - Just delicious. Salad fresh and tasty. We had the mixed grill so tried all the meats. The lamb was great and the bifteki also, others good. Nothing disappointing. Try the loux orange drink- something different and in between a juice and soft drink. All in all, a nice home cooked traditional feel meal. I'm going back.
I think they would do a much better trade if they were located in woollahra or rose bay rather than the obscure end of bondi junction.
It's a small little gem that serves really good Gyros and Souvlakis. Friendly people run this place and it has patronage from people that live both far and close. The Doulmados are an absolute must try. At AUD 15+ per head one can never go wrong.
If you love consistency and great service then you can’t go past The Souvlucky Country.
The service is always great – especially since I have received far less from other local establishments.
Run by a husband and wife team, they really make you feel welcome and when dining in you are made to feel like you are in their family home.
The restaurant is always impeccably clean and there is always plenty of parking in the streets nearby.
The mixed grill plate is our go to dish and for only $28 it can feed three adults and there will still be leftovers.
First time visiting this restaurant. Chill ambiance, lovely staff.
Portions are good for the price.
Food is nice and excellent variety of choice.
We liked our dishes. My only feedback would be is that we were expecting a bit stronger flavours. The hot sauce helped.
Overall pretty good and we would come back.
Delicious Greek food!!! Gyros plate or souvlaki plate. The last one you can share with 2. We had Kormos and Baklava as desserts as well. Loved Kormos!!!!
Delicious food and some of the best Greek food I’ve had although I haven’t been to Greece. Fresh ingredients and the meat was very juicy. Five stars all around.
Nice staff and a clean bright place for a bite to eat. The souvlaki was good but the skewered lamb was a bit tough. Worth visiting for a quick lunch.
Great food and nice atmosphere. Naturally heated by the ovens cooking the meat at the back so a great place to chill on a cold day.
Superb food. They know what they are doing. Their Souvlaki is fresh and delicious. Home made tzatziki, what do you want more. You can taste the difference. Highly recommend this place.
I love the food here. Authentic and delicious. I swear his grandmother makes the baklava:) and don’t get me started on the Greek coffee! 😋
