Review The Bucket List - Bondi

Puneet Sharma
Lovely little joint off Bondi Beach. Had a pitcher of beer and a Fish Sandwich. Order at the bar. Get a number and they deliver it to you. Service was quick. Food was good (bar food). Beer was cold. Views were great.
Michael Pham
Right across the street from the beach, great views - we were able to get a table for 8 on a Friday at noon. Food was OK, not great - we thought the fried chicken was undercooked, but the server offered us a free replacement dish or refund.
Ollie Kettle (Kettleinho)
Decided to try this place for lunch, as its location is ideal to escape the beach but keep those views! It's a bit pricy on the food front, but that aside has a great bar and cocktail selection. Staff are polite & friendly. Great spot for drinks with friends đŸ‘ŒđŸŒ

Great location to enjoy some drinks & food with a view. We enjoyed the passion fruit mojito and a pitcher of pimms. The tacos were tasty and the poke was good. The service was prompt and you can’t beat the view. They have high chairs available upon request.

Such a cute lively place to visit in the day time. Only a bonus that it is situated right across the iconic Bondi beach. Food is a little bit on the expensive side but portions are huge so you get what you pay for! What can you expect for such an amazing location anyway!

Beautiful drinks and great place to relax. Haven't had the food but drinks are plentiful, just stay away from the shots! It's wonderful sitting by the window or outside and looking over the beach at anytime of day or night. Bring your friends, light crowd on Sundays, great music and can chat amongst the stars.

I went to Bondi and I had lunch at The Bucket List, the best location and really good service. It was a really hot day at Bondi, but I had a cold drink and a very nice salad overlooking at the beach. Coni, the waitress a really nice girl. Nice place and very clean. Good service!!!

Good food.. Nice vibe.. Cute lively and lovely place to hangout with your friends and familly.. Big portion of food.. Friendly staff.. Really good both having lunch or having dinner.. When i wes there.. They had live music performing.. Near bondi beach..

Great food , service is a lil slow as there's only one guy taking order and making drinks and there's 1 lady delivering food to the table
Michael Jennings
I normally don't leave reviews like this but in this case I feel I have to. The food was actually really nice. Unfortunately the girl who served us was extremely rude and to be honest had a terrible attitude towards us as customers. While waiting to be served two staff members where stood behind the bar having a conversation while people including ourselves where stood waiting to be served. We where then served by a very rude female staff member who basically had a bit of an attitude problem. I couldn't help but feel I was causing an inconvenience by ordering food and drinks. Considering the price of food you may want to look in to your customer service at bucket list. After experiencing an attitude like that I couldn't help but feel annoyed. The venue is really nice, the food was good and it's a great location but unfortunately after that experience I left feeling annoyed. I won't be back in the future and doubt I'll ever recommend the venue to anyone. I would much rather spend my money else where.
Food Addict
Food is great! Self service is fine. Ambiance is better but weekends too much customers. You will be having a hard time getting a chair to sit in.

We came here to drink and people watch and it was packed. Lucky to snag a good table and the passing circus is great to watch! After a few rounds we were peckish so we got the sashimi salad and the calamari. They were ok but priced absolutely extortionately, although I guess that’s the price of this location. Top notch people watching but perhaps eat elsewhere.
Joon Jin
Absolutely terrible service. Ordered 1 fish and chips and waited over 45mins and still didn't deliver. They only realised my order when I asked after 35mins and even then just said sorry we have printer issues and will be rightaway but I still didn't get anything until 45mins. Just asked for a refund - wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless if you like waiting for over an hour without any service.

You can’t really go wrong with an afternoon spent eating and drinking with views of Bondi beach. Bucketlist has lots of food and cocktail options so theres definitely a little something for everyone. Nice and busy because its smack bang in the middle of all the Bondi beach goodness.
Vu Minh Thang
Me and my family walked in and wait to be seated for 5 mins, 5 or 10 staffs walked by all ignore us. What worst was the bar man 2 meter in front was just standing and watching the whole time. Never had a worst experience like this before.

Service was alright, cocktails were absolutely lovely. The view made it a great place to set up camp for a while. The outside could do with some heaters for the chillier months as we had to migrate inside which was only marginally warmer.
Frans Roecoert
Order at the bar and get a number service. The food and beverages came out surprisingly fast. The service at the bar was very friendly and helpfull. Outside was a bit different as we werent given cutlery with our food even tho all the other tables around us were. When i ended up getting the cutlery myself the birds almost got a dig at my food, luckily my wife was sitting there to wave em away. With that in mind the birds didnt effect the rating as there isnt much that they can do about it. A good 4* we will return next time that we are in Bondi as the food was very good and easy.
Karina
Popped in for lunch with the fam while we were in Sydney. I got the 'miso sesame eggplant poke bowl' it was so tasty and fresh and I loved how they used noodles. We also got the 'watermelon, chill, lime & feta salad' which I wasn't a fan off because I don't love feta but the watermelon was delicious and so juicy and fresh. The view of Bondi is nice as-well but I think its a bit annoying having to go up to the counter to order, especially if you are sitting outside like we were. Wasn't horrible but wasn't amazing.

Average food for the price but a nice location if you're in the area.<br/><br/>Went here for a team lunch. This place was very busy on a Friday night and the staff were very friendly.<br/><br/>We got a bunch of dishes to share and overall it is decent food.<br/><br/>We had a booth by the window. It would have been beautiful if it didn't rain that day. It also started hailing and the staff were really quick to close off all the windows.
A Black Sheep
Came here after a walk from Coogee beach to Bondi. We were a large group (15 people), staff were friendly, soon found us a table. Honestly, food was really average and the Sangria I ordered was really disappointed. Sweet potato chips and watermelon with feta were the highlights. But hey, great ambience for groups.

This is the “passion fruit mojito” we bought, and after pouring out the minimal amount of liquid in the drink, we realized that we were given the wrong drink. For $36 we spent on this drink, it didn’t fill more than 3 of these tiny cups and had no alcohol, I understand the location and the atmosphere determines the price of this but it could be a bit cheaper for what you get. And what’s with all the ice in it? It was a fine drink but I just wanted to share the truth.

This place never fails me for quality of food, views (of Bondi beach) and ambiance. It's arguably the best placed restaurant/bar placed at Bondi Beach. Awesome place to chill with your mates and enjoy a beer with food by the water on a warm day. My friend got the miso sesame tuna poke bowl ($30) and I got the buttermilk boneless fried chicken ($22). The flavours in the fried chicken were amazing - full of spices. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
Danae Savvas
Great place to meet friends and have drinks. Sunday in summer seem to be VERY popular so be sure to get there early to get a seat as it gets chaotic. the food was better than expected for a drinks/club sort of space .all in all i really enjoyed my experience there and the staff were super friendly too.
Danica Tanica
A great way to enjoy Bondi Beach and the Pavillon, especially on a warm afternoon. Great vibes, music and hospitality paired with awesome bar food and drinks. Looking forward to the next Sydney trip!
Danoz Direlect
Absolutely disappointing. Ridiculous prices, snobby diners, rude waiters and garbage food. I paid $22 dollars for the ‘Crispy Victorian Squid’ which was small enough to be an entree. My partner ordered the mushroom burger which looked like a cheap sandwich. Waste of money and time
Thefoodbotherer
Great relaxing vibe with delicious food, stunning views being right on Bondi beach and an excellent drinks list. We definitely will return. I had the sashimi of tuna (so fresh) and the fish taco (yummmo). Hubs had the beef burger and loved it
Eat Play Love Travel
Positioned on the foreshore of this legendary stretch of sand, there’s no better place for some Bondi people-watching, sun-soaking and day-drinking than The Bucket List. There’s also a pretty decent food menu of tacos, burgers and salads that will help soak up the booze. Sitting back on a deck chair in the outside courtyard, sipping on a passionfruit mojito and listening to the DJ spin the decks, you’ll understand why this drinking spot is a favourite for Bondiians.
Aaron T
Beautiful view right on the bond beach. Nice place to have a couple of tap beers with friends or overseas visitors. Like the bucket of prawns always fresh and sweet. The king salmon bowel is my favorite.
Belly Rumbles
The Bucket List Bondi is located right on Bondi Beach, offering dog friendly dining with a view. Stop in for a drink, a light snack or complete meal with your fur baby.  As far as location goes, The Bucket List Bondi has you covered. Situated in the Bondi Pavilion overlooking iconic Bondi Beach.  The Bucket List is aptly named, Bondi Beach is on most tourists’ bucket list when they visit Sydney.
Adrian Shannon
The Bucket List. Obviously the location is perfect, but the food, atmosphere and service are pretty great too! A good selection of craft beer compliments the fare..

Pathetic Staff and Attitude !!<br/><br/>Simply not welcoming behaviour by the Bar Staff. <br/><br/>Food was decent. <br/><br/>The servers were pleasant but the bar staff needs to be kicked out to get better ratings!!<br/><br/>Hope the management takes note!!<br/><br/>Prices are high and hence quite useless for a place like this. <br/><br/>Skip this one and jump over to the next joint for a better experience !
Kadambari
I came here on a Sunday night when it was not very busy. We ordered the Market fish for the day ( which was Grilled Barramundi with roasted artichokes and caval nero) and the slow roasted Octopus. <br/>The fish dish came without the artichokes and when I brought it to the attention of the waiter, he just offered a non-chalant apology and walked off. The octopus was also not cooked very well. <br/>Overall a very disappointing experience, never coming back.

This was the first place we went to in Australia; that too just after a splash at the beach. The location is awesome with the clear view of the beach and the al fresco seating was nice. There was a very nice vibe overall. They also have inside seating which hardly anyone took as it was a lovely day.<br/><br/>Being vegetarians, our expectations were pretty low but we were happy to find 3-4 options from Salads to Burgers to Spaghetti. We ordered all the veg stuff on the menu and were quite happy with the food overall. I especially loved the Kale-chickpea salad. The spaghetti however was horrible with no flavor and super bland; we had to leave more than half of it!<br/><br/>A tad pricey but go there just for the location itself.

Read a lot of reviews before I went last night with 3 others. I must say I was dreading eating there judging on the majority of reviews I read. Well,I was very pleasantly surprised. <br/><br/>Our food was delicious! I had roasted spiced cauliflower salad with grilled chicken. It was good . Very flavoursome and plentiful. Two others had lamb shanks which I tasted, and was very good. Had a bit of menu envy. They both loved them. The fourth person had a chickpea/kale salad which was enormous! She said it was ok, but didn't rave like the rest of us.<br/><br/>Cocktails couldn't have been too bad because we all had 4 each!! <br/><br/>I could not complain about the service; everyone was friendly and service was pretty prompt. Saying that, I think we were there early-ish in the evening.<br/><br/>Anyway, I would go again, must be great in the daytime with that view!!
Fussyfoodie
Consistently disappointing, my last visit was for a birthday and there seems to be a trend for lumping bookings in the back area behind the bar and near the toilets. This left us feeling underwhelmed stuck inside when the weather and views were clearly enjoyed outside. But this was the least of my problems, the food was of very poor quality to put it nicely. Everything seemed old, cold or reheated after being frozen. Everything was oily, tasted like dirty oil and was beyond overpriced considering the quality, or lack there of. Service was as impressive as the food was, staff were rude, weren't sure if they were giving us the right order and bar staff refused to make any drink changes, including just leaving out a garnish ! One birthday guest had to wait 35minutes for an order of chips. Completely unacceptable.
Rebecca
View was amazing. <br/>Food served quickly despite being very busy<br/>Food was a little average for the price considering the avocado was from a tube. <br/>Staff was nice. <br/>Cocktails were a 10/10. <br/>Sweet potato wedges were amazing! Must try.
Hannah Coleman
Great spot to eat and drink with friends. I went on a Saturday afternoon, it was busy and the music coming from the Bondi Radio station inside was perfect, funky house music, great on a sunny afternoon. They made the Poke Bowl vegetarian for me and it was delicious and fresh, washed down with an icy frose. Perfect place if you like your dining experience casual and lively!
Food 2 Run
This is a great spot on the beach at Bondi - the service and cocktails were super... the food was average at best... if you want a drink then for sure call in - if a meal better to be had... staff super
Jazz Khan
My food was amazing but friends steak was not. Service timing was fine but staff were not friendly. Asked a simple question to an off duty waitress as she was carrying a plate I figured she worked there, she responded rudely like I had asked the dumbest question and should've known she was off duty
Yorkshire Pudding
Great food. The falafel salad was sensational and the peas/mint/feta dish was out of this world.<br/>The view was great, the service was good. <br/>Will defiantly return

Fantastic ambience just outside the beach.<br/>Perfect place to chill out.<br/>Very friendly crew!!<br/><br/>They have both indoor and outdoor seating options and the breeze naturally ventilates the place.<br/><br/>Must visit if in this part of the town.<br/><br/>Ciao!! đŸ·đŸ·

Came here last saturday, pretty crowded but the vibe is great. Good music and it's not too loud. Great choices of beers, and the sweet potato wedges is out of this world! Too good!
Leon Yang
Best fish and chips I've had my entire time in Australia although the price tag on it is heavy! Might not jump at another opportunity to pay this amount again but it is definitely worth to go once cause it is delicious.
Monica
Tried to come incur for breakfast and another time for dinner but always closed. Now looking at the hours online it makes sense! Why would they only open for lunch?!?!
Laini Lain
The view and location here is obviously brilliant but this place appears to be resting on its laurels somewhat.<br/>Service- mediocre and underwhelming, including the waitress 'spray and wiping' within centimetres of me still eating my food;<br/>Glass of WA Pinot Noir- acidic, watery and over priced;<br/>Grilled haloumi- overpowered by much overrated mint;<br/>Roasted sweet potato- drowning in sour cream and sitting, for some god forsaken reason, on paper (quickly turning soggy from the sour cream).<br/>No need to return.

Food used to be amazing, not so much now....<br/> <br/>

I don't think there would be a more perfect location to enjoy the spectacle and procession of the City2Surf than the Bucket List. With an outdoor corner position, Bondi Beach serves as a stunning backdrop to a casual day of drinks and Aussie fare.<br/><br/>Service was distinctly attentive; no empty glass or dirty plate sat on the table for more than a couple of minutes before being cleared by one of the waitresses.

Fantastic experience right in the middle of this iconic beach. Service and food were top notch. The ambience was fantastic with a diverse mix of people, music and culture. Highly recommend it.
Alessia
Nothing can beat the super beautiful location and view of bondi beach. However, the food was average. I would come back here just for the view, especially in the afternoon at sunset, to have a drink by the beach. It gets very busy at night but the staff was very friendly, kind and quick! 🌅
Martin Newman
Nice spot in the pavilion right on Bondi Beach. We came in out of the rain and found a reasonably busy but relaxed restaurant with a bit of a mums and babies club happening. Service was pretty relaxed but we were seated and served quickly. Presentation-wise the food looked great. The fish and chips, beer-battered NZ hake, was served in a tin bucket. There were a lot of chips and three fillets of fish, served with tomato and tartare sauce. We also got some sweet potato wedges garnished in sour cream and spring onions. I ordered the <br/>grilled Fremantle octopus, stewed with braised white beans, tomatoes, olives, sultanas, aioli and herbs. It looked great and the chunks of octopus were very tasty, but there could have been a bit more in it. There were also way too many olives, overpowering the dish, and the pits of many had fallen out and were difficult to see, making it a bit of a dental hazard. It would be more enjoyable with pitted olives. All up though a nice spot with good food.<br/><br/>Sweet potato wedges<br/><br/>,

Came here on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon! The place has a good location, great views and a cool vibe. The food was average - not bad, not great. The service was a bit poor and slow, but was expected on a busy afternoon. Unfortunately, I think this is a bit of a tourist trap :(
Naomi Rheinberger
Stopped by the bucket list for a long weekend Sunday session, the venue has a really fantastic vibe event with the repetitive house music that makes you feel like you've been listening to the same song for 5 hours straight. <br/><br/>The guys behind the bar were friendly and speedy with the service, however the cocktail service is severely lagging. You order at one bar, are given a number and then you need to wait for your cocktail to be brought to you. I waited 35minutes for a damn mojito... Definitely some communication and service issues that can be fixed here.
Justin Jervies
Had the calamari and octopus both really spot on, calamari was tender, octopus was so tasy in the tomatoe dish. calamari could use a little side of salad or something but non the less was pretty good for $45

It was ok. Here on Easter Sunday. Semi packed out. Surrounded by a bit of a spoilt trust fund baby crowd or tourists. As locals from the Western Suburbs we felt out of place. Food was ok not great. Sweet potato wedges with some average garlic twined mayo. Drinks were an improvement. But still not great

Lex and I had been to The Bucket List on the famous Bondi Beach before. It’s a cool, vibrant place with outdoor seating right on the beach! You can get tacos, burgers, seafood and some great cocktails. We were lucky enough to get a spot outside on the benches under a shady umbrella. I say lucky because it was a really busy day in Bondi and so many times you walk past The Bucket List and find it bursting with people. Although there weren’t any today, there are often live bands performing some laid back tunes while you sip cocktails, eat some food and people watch. It really is an amazing place and like Lex and I said today, it’s all about location, location, location.<br/><br/>Keep reading on the blog:

Beautiful location, such a shame the staff are so horrible. As soon as we walked through the door, the rudeness from the waiter started then at the bar, again. Walked straight out, will not provide my service to people who are straight out rude! Waiters who think they are above people who walk through the door! What a disgrace
Lawrence Wisdom
Can't beat that view. Came down here for a Sunday sesh and the place was pumping. No better place to be than on are bar on the beach in Bondi when it's sunny. A little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Simply Starving
Great place for an afternoon drink. The location is amazing and the atmosphere is young, fun and full of energy. I ordered the passionfruit mojito, which was absolutely delicious, and the fish tacos, which were full of flavour but overpriced.
Adam
Wow this place has got so expensive for what it is!! But it's a great place to hang for an arvo with friends and family. They've taken tired old Nicks seafood and showed how to do a venue Bondi style!! Smart crew behind this place. Check it out if you haven't been. Casual is the way to approach this place. Call it's Bondi's version of the Boat house.
The RnB Diary
There is only one reason to visit here - for the view. It can be quite nice eating and drinking right by the beach on a sunny day. The food itself is over-priced and mediocre. Some of our friends ordered so called Sunday roast, they didn't look too enticing to me. I had fish burger, which was slightly stale. I had to set up a tab and forgot to take my credit card back, oops! Wouldn't mind going back for drinks but probably would avoid eating there again.

A Sydney institution! The atmosphere and location makes this restaurant a must visit for tourists and residents a like. Situated in the heart of the Bondi promenade just metres from stepping on the sand, The Bucket List exemplifies everything about Australian culture. The food is a little pricey, but not unexpected on Bondi waterfront but even just stopping in for a drink is a must for all Bondi-goers. The Bucket List boasts an enticing cocktail list, with the Find Liquid Gold being my personal favourite.
Zedolsimi Kokot
I won't be wasting your time and describing each dish and atmosphere as it is pointless. Whoever already been in there, knows that, it is a little bit overpriced beach bar with average food, cool decoration, great location and good looking staff. But what does it make so horrible? It's very simple - very poor customer service at the bar with unprofessional, rude and arrogant staff that gives you painful lesson about how to be patient and tolerant. Me and my close friends (Krstny Otec, Svata Maria Matka Bozia, Martin Kittner and King of Pop) have had many negative experiences in hospitality, but none of them ended up as disappointing as this one. If there is something, what can really ruins your night, it's a situation when staff ignores you (although bar is pretty much empty) and gives you attitude that can upset even the most liberal person. Long story short, young man behind the bar who were acting like a wannabe manager decided to do his manager's duty and started to collecting/moving/adding change while 6 people were waiting to be served. It took more than 5 minutes to get his attention. When we kindly asked him to order some food and drinks, he clearly expressed himself thru the arrogant gesture, said "Soon" and walked away like a big boss. In other words - I'm here for you and am still busy with my change, so you'll wait. Then he clarify his cowardliness and unacceptable ignorance when he didn't come back to take our order and let us wait another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, his colleague realised, that something is wrong and took our order...And this is only one of another 3-4 bad "customer service" experiences at the same place...but definitely the worst one. Hence, we would like to say thank you to Bucket list management, that hires good looking staff with no manners, poor work ethics and terrible attitude. We certainly won't come back again and as we all work in hospitality we'll share our experience with others. With no interest to get something of it or harm someone, simply because this is a major issue with no excuse and people should know about it.
Kate Dougherty
Casual beach side bar with a range of basic but tasty food options. In particular the corn in a cup was a great mexican inspired sharing dish. Skip the white sangria though - basically tasted like a mix of fanta and orange juice.
Zach Kutlow
Fun place on the beach to have some drinks with friends, although it gets absolutely packed during the day.  During the winter if closes quite early, even on the weekends.  I think they had us out of there around 9:15 on a Saturday night which is always surprising for a place that serves alcohol.
Giada Napoli
Really cool place right on the beach. Loved the chill vibe it has! Great for a relaxing lunch or dinner with friends, or just for a drink with a good view!
Laura B
Chilled out venue right on the beach. Average food, fabulous cocktails and a great vibe. Fast service and good looking staff! Well priced for the location.
SpencerJHanna
Good for groups. Perfect for post beach beers, VERY BUSY but good sorts everywhere. Beers  overpriced but you won't even notice . Best bar in Bondi.
Nom Diaries
Food is great and fresh, portions are good and the variety of food is amazing. From tacos to steak with baked potatoe - there is something for everyone. <br/>Their new winter menu is warm and tasty, the pot pie and the ragu pappardelle are a must try. <br/>Fireplace going throughout winter makes the venue warm while still being able to enjoy that million dollar view.
Maree
It would be easy to be sucked in by the trendy appearance and hip crowd of this establishment but don't be fooled. While 50% of our 8 meals were enjoyable the others fell short and the appalling service ruined any change of enjoying out experience. <br/>The lady taking putting our order into the register was interrupted twice by other staff to put their orders in the register and then we waited while one of them had a discussion with the patron ordering. Get your ordering process sorted and maybe set aside a food only register for peak periods. Staff walking around clearing tables were rude and unapproachable and more interested in having a chat with each other than doing their job.
Eat Drink Play
With milk crate chairs and tables made out of wooden pallets the relaxed beach vibe transcends the light and open space. At The Bucket List you can expect exactly that, a list of food and drinks served in buckets. You can order buckets of chips and buckets of beers. Sadly no buckets of cocktails but maybe they’ll surprise us this summer. The waterfront bar is open 11am to midnight every day this summer and a stone throw away from the sand.
Bethany
Either do sweet potato fries correctly or don't do them at all. They were soggy, cold and covered in half melted parmesan cheese. To this day one of the top 10 food disappointments of my life.
Aussiebec.isme
Bondi beauty. A fabulous place to relax in Bondi. I have always been blown away by the friendly staff and great drinks. It can get a little busy there but what do you expect with such a beautiful location - almost right on the beach! It quickly became one of my favourite hang outs. LOVE this place!
Postcards From Peta
The Bucket List Bondi Beach, Sydney Such a great place to hang out after a beach session on Bondi. Watch the world go by. Great decor, great atmosphere and great food! I took my American friends here - so touristy of us. But will be back  definitely! Peta’s recommendation:  Spiced fish taco w guacamole, fennel, pico de gallo & chipotle mayo   » $8 each - so good!
Things She Eats
The food is out very quickly and all at once. My soup is incredible. It’s served in a black bowl, on a wooden board, with seeded bread on the side. Blended soups have the potential to get really boring but each bite has a different flavour and texture. The tart pomegranate seeds and crunch of the hazelnut really liven the whole dish up.Bucket List four

The decor suited the location - Loved the eroded look of the table, buckets for cutlery holders, crates for seats and washed-out blue and green tones throughout the decor. One thing I found a little different was the toilets! Each cubicle was complete with a small bench covered in fake turf, the toilet, basin and hand dryer. Interesting set up. The sign on the other side of the bar read: "The weather is here, wish you were beautiful". Find out more about The Bucket List here.

City Experts is a great club to be part of. Each month, google reviewers who review over 50 reviews and 5 each month are considered City Experts and are invited to an exclusive event.  The November City Expert event was held at the Bucket List in Bondi. This event was fantastic with google having a mechanical surf board, a make your own gelato messina stand and make your own dukka stand!  Naturally, there were drinks and delicious food by the Bucket List as well.  The Bucket List was the perfect venue for the City Expert Event. Good food amongst the very beautiful scenic background. Given the Bucket List were catering for hundreds of people, I was very impressed. The Sliders were perfection. I quite enjoyed the beef sliders and on their normal menu, you can get 3 for $20 which I think is a bit pricey but consistent with the location. They also had buckets of fish and chips which were also very delicious and are normally $27 which was very pricey for the portions. What a view though (below); I can just imagine tourists who imagine coming to the stereotypical Australian beach who will not be disappointed with this view at the Bucket List. Gelato Messina always delivers... I had to share my photo below of Vanilla and Raspberry Gelato, tim tam and brownie (below). Yum! I love City Expert Events and this one was very well organised. I had a great time! Please note: I am a City Expert and attended this event.

How could you not love it here? Relaxing back on the very comfortable and deep banquette seats in oceany hues of blue, aqua and green; drinking crispy cold beer; watching joggers run on the beach – it’s a little piece of paradise really.

Given its relaxed vibe, and the fun factor that you can order a bucket of chips and a bucket of beer at the same time, this pop-up bar is a great summer hangout down the beach. And if they ever start offering buckets of cocktails I'd be back there in a jiffy

What better way to enjoy this day than at Sydney’s most famous beach with an icy cocktail and fresh seafood at The Bucket List, at the Bondi Pavilion, with breathtaking beach vista.

A must in Sydney is taking a stroll in the coastal walk, in my case I did it from Bronte to Bondi beach, nice exercise, lovely sunny day, and pretty relax Sunday. As soon as we got to Bondi a beer was necessary, you know for hydration purposes, so we ended having beers in The Bucket List , a bar eatery just a few metres from the beach, open every day, with a nice terrace and enticing menu.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Summer, and in Sydney that shouts: Bondi Beach. The Bucket List in the Bondi Pavilion provides a view of beach activities without having to get that pesky sand between your toes. French bartender Tanguy confided that beer is most popular with Aussies. On tap there’s One Fifty Lashes Pale Ale, Kosciuszko Pale Ale, Heineken, Sundown Lager ($7.80 a schooner) and Hahn Super Dry ($6.80.) The Bucket List however is more famous for its jugs (no, not the type in bikinis) but those bearing Pimms No. 1 or sangria.
I Ate My Way Through
The perfect venue for a sun-filled afternoon date where you watch the world go by, literally! It is the best spot  for people watching and to share a jug of Pimms! The only downside is that it gets very busy over the weekends in the afternoon, so I would recommend making sure you know what your date looks like before venturing inside, otherwise that could be quite awkward.  The other plus to going here is that there are so many people you can always excuse yourself for the ‘bathroom’ and take a detour all the way home. Bucket List is another new opening as close to the golden sands of Bondi as you can get while not actually sitting in the surf. It's a casual place with the name coming from the service of most meals in a bucket. We loved soaking up the winter sunshine outdoors along with a glass of crisp pinot grigio ($9) and a bucket of fat, juicy prawns ($25).

Shave the hair off the dog. Went to the bucket list today and had a great lunch. Unfortunately I got an undrinkable cocktail. Shave the Hair off the dog. It had that much worcestershire sauce in it it was undrinkable. Then to top it of when reading the recipe it states that it has vodka and tequila in it and because i watched her make it, i know it only had vodka and about 45ml of the worcestershire sauce. On returning to the bar to ask if they could fix it they said no because it was made to a recipe so he added some tomato juice and gave me some tomato juice in a glass. Still undrinkable so dont think that i'll return for a cocktail any time soon.

DO NOT BOTHER. If you want to be treated like crap whilst you spend your money ... GO HERE! service was terrible. staff were rude. Ive never seen someone look so annoyed at me for ordering a drink before. Wont recommend ...wont go back.

Absolutely horrible!. What ever you do DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT . It is run by incompetent morons who all seem to have a massive attitude problem . The bar staff all have faces like slapped baboon's and are rude to the point of been aggressive . The waiting on staff just don't want to be there and you can tell that by their terrible service manners . The so called MaItre dee -has no idea what her job is suppose to be and will just throw menu's at you when you walk into the restaurant and then tell you to find your own table (no point in here being there then) . When you eventually get your food the service is totally disjointed and you can expect a long long wait for your order to arrive complete . When we tried to put our grievance's to the staff we were asked by BOUNCERS to leave the premises .

Great place but foods are seriously over priced and nothing special.

Too cool for school. If you are from beverly hills and love being a snob then go here. Packed with shallow, uncultured wanna be bogans originally from the west. Don't get me started on the food, just utter rubbish. .

Came here with my mate and I had the calamari, prawns and the chips. All three were cooked brilliantly. The view of the beach is beautiful. The service is good too. The place has a great vibe.

I had my birthday at the bucket list last weekend and it was fantastic. The staff were really helpful, they looked after us all day and made sure I had a great time. We shared food off the platter menu, it was delicious and worked out to be great value. I'll happily back soon.

Coasting on its location. Been a few times with friends based on location convenience. Pretentious, overpriced, crowded and poor food. They can't even do fish and chips . If it wasn't right in that location it would have folded long ago. Avoid unless you just like to see and be seen.

Shocker. Obscenely overpriced, average food, grubby, and staff who are too busy worrying about how cool they look, to care about their patrons. Never again.

Horrible Place. Just had a group gathering of 30 for Christmas, even though we booked the spot, the kept telling other patrons the can sit.. Spent most of the night reminding them that the tables are booked for my guests.. A place for the fake.<br/><br/>Food positions why too small prices with the worst customer service you can receive from a restaurant. Bar staff are too busy chatting and playing around having fun with each to even notice customers at the bar..<br/><br/>Also athe place is grubby.. Staff look grubby also.

Below average food demanding high prices with the worst customer service you can receive from a restaurant. We went with kids under 15 months old and staff reckon we are not allow to feed the kids with baby food. Imagine the frustration on the services we receive. Would not recommend this bar/ restaurant to anyone. It is a shame the have the top spot at Bondi and tourists would leave with a very bad impression on aussie services.

Beyond polite. We only go to the Bucket list occasionally. Every time we go I expect the pretentious attitudes that are the standard in all the current trendy hot spots. But somehow Bucket List has managed to retain the most polite and friendly staff of any bar/restaurant I've been too. When there's a line outside the security staff are so apologetic that feel like they feel personally bad about it.<br/>In the bar areas you need to be seated, part of their license I beliece and instead of staff threatening you if you don't sit down, they apologise profusely and ask you if you wouldn't mind helping them follow licensing rules and sit down. Even when a drunken girlfriend found her way onto a table to dance, which was entirely not ok for the staff, they were so nice about getting her down, the opposite of the normal reaction from staff in other establishments.<br/>Obviously you're paying for the location and the vibe, but the staff make it an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended.

Pricey but it is by the beach!. Pricey and small portions. The prawn cocktail salad was the smallest salad I'd seen served as a main size. Difficult to eat in the small bowl it was served in. The calamari was tasty as was the pan fried fish. The outdoor seating at the back is a great area.

One of those places that packs out no matter the quality. Position is perfect, meals were not. The service however, was spot on.

Overrated food & prices. Paid $25 for a prawn cocktail and got 4 prawns and lettuce was supposed to have avocado and other things so I asked and was told the chef said it was tossed in really!? I'm not stupid. Amazing location if only the food was top notch.

Nice idea but very dissapointing, after getting our drink order wrong and paying over 60$ for 2 salads which we had watched sitting on the pass for 5 minutes whilst the waitress had a chat, slow cooked lamb salad, lamb?? What lamb we were served chunks off fat and a mediocre salad. Classic prawn cocltail was really wet and sloppy, the lettuce wasnt even prepared properly, tiny bowl off salad with prawns and way too much cocktail sauce and not even a slice of lemon. We had to order bread (another 7$) just so that we could have something edible. Other dishes we saw looked good especially the bucket of prawns great view, i think i would only return to enjoy the view with a noce cold drink in the future!

Obviously nice location great vibe but seriously food is rubbish

Average. Food is so average. Location is obviously great. I would go for a post-beach drink and thats it.

The natives were gorgeous. I had no expectations for this place had driven by many times and always seems to be a big weekend crowd of Bondi trendies. Was invited for lunch with a few people my wife and couple of my daughters. Really vibrant ambience if not a bit uber cool, the staff rushed off their feet and sometimes a bit curt with their responses. The bar staff had some severe attitude and obviously hand picked for their other attributes.<br/><br/><br/> Asked whether they could open a window became a bit to challenging. The food; I had fish with side order of chips and salad very tasty. desert was a honeycomb and cream(tasted like spray canned cream) thingo that was recommended by a friend. wouldn't recommend it if you are overweight or have cholesterol chest grabber material. I enjoyed the food and the view have never seen so many attractive woman. Would definitely go again but I don't think my wife would let me!

Location Location. Nice enough to sit and have a beer and some expensive fish and chips, when its not too crowded. <br/><br/>Im not really into cuing up for 20 mins then sitting in a PACKED eatery, so i cant comment on service when its busy, but when its quiet the order at the counter and have food brought to your table seems to work well.

Fun place - not quite there yet. Food is ok. We had a bucket of prawns, salad and barramundi which was delicious. Outdoor furniture is shabby, and sitting on a milk crate is not comfortable, so try and grab a sofa seat or you won't be staying long.<br/>I think for early lunch and some afternoon wine drinking (pink wine, Flamingo -surprisingly good Listel) it is a good place. Where are all beach clubs in Sydney? This is the right idea but not there yet.
