What a perfect vibe for any dinner occasion. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. I had pizza, tiramisu and other starters and I was really satisfied with the serving sizes and flavours. Pizza’s are traditional floppy vases which I love. I would definitely go back.
Great, traditional pizza. Simple toppings. One of the best doughs I've ever had the pleasure to taste. Partner and I said we could just eat the crust and be happy. The Pesto was delicious but I'm keen to try more! Definitely the best pizza in the area. Service from a lovely, middle aged English fella was down-to-earth, helpful and fuss-free, yet with attention and care. We'll be returning and at the same price as some chain pizza places (like Crust), we'll be getting it takeaway!
Such delicious food and the best pizza!
With a very trendy vibe this place is the perfect catch up with friends or special occasion.
Highly recommend the skewers and any of the pizzas.

Got the prosciutto pizza and meatball pasta. I normally don't go for tomato based pasta because they tend to be too sour for my liking, but not this one. the pizza was huge and the combination of prosciutto and rocket is nice.
Amazing Wood-fire pizza 🍕 but very average Carbonara pasta, which, btw, was over salted. However, will be definitely back for pizza and great champaign ❤️
Authentic Italian in the heart of Bondi! Best to go with a few people so that you can share a pizza and pasta but not too many as you'll want to eat most of it yourself!
A little further down Hall Street and away from crowds of the waterfront strip is Da Orazio, one of a handful of restaurants that occupies a space at The Hub. The menu is a mix of wood-fired, rustic pizzas, simple antipasti, salads, a handful of pastas and homemade porchetta, the latter of which you simply must try. The pizza here is also one to be contested with. It's a thin-based Naples style pizza with a joyfully blistered, swollen crust and irregular, charred bubbles.
Pizza was pretty good. Not the best I've had, but definitely above average. Skip the gelato though - I had chocolate, vanilla, and watermelon sorbet.

Absolutely outstanding pizza; the diavoletta can be very hot depending on taste sensitivity. On tap beer selection is limited, wine list is great, gelato is great. Hard to get into without reservations most days.
Great location with a well complimented menu. The pizza is a must try accompanied with the porchetta. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a well priced Italian meal!
Amazing food and cosy atmosphere. Great place to go for a date whether it's for dinner or lunch on the weekend. The dessert options could be better, but that applies to most Italian places in Sydney to be honest....
The base cooked to perfection! Vegetables were fresh. The mozarella was so tasty. Stumbled across this place on our way to find a bite to eat one night and glad we did!
Love this place. One of the top pizza joints in Sydney with authentic Napoli style pizza. Their house red is decent as well. Must try the calzone, it is to die for! Always look out for their specials as well - I've heard of an excellent carbonara but have yet to been lucky enough to try it.. Gets quite busy and a bit loud as well, so be prepared to wait and yell!
Ahh Orazio, in my top 5 of the best pizza in Sydney! If you go there to try their very famous pizza+porchetta better to save as much space as you can in your tummy because is very rich and satisfying! Nice environment, ridiculously busy, but worth to wait!

We adore Da Orazio! We love all the food there and the service is always very good. We love the ambience also and would recommend to anyone!
Seriously the best antipasti plate cause they don't hold back on the meat which is what you want. Pizza is fresh to death, straight out of the wood fired oven and into my heart.
We had a variety of things off the menu and have to admit that everything was delicious. The garlic pizza was a bit on the burnt side but the cheese selection was to die for. Highly recommend. Only down side is that it's VERY loud
Here to catch up with a friend for dinner on a Friday evening. Busseling with people even at 6pm. Funky yet very professional and the look, the music, the ambiance nicely balanced as one would expect from culinary maestro Maurice Terzini.
Simple but elegant Italian food. Nothing over the top - which adds to the appeal of eating here.
The antipasti was can we have it all as it all sounded.too good not to have... settled for the wagyu carpaccio and the prosciutto (liked the wood fired crust with generous portion of prosciutto which was not cooked with fresh rocket) and the Siciliana (which was taste and well balanced in flavours)
Pizzas were filling and what I remembered from Italy where less is more.
All pizzas are 32cm and have naturally risen over 48 hours......wish there were more artisan bakers/pizza places that took this level of care and attention...a lost art.
Difficult decision for dessert....tiramisu or chocolate caprese cake or bomboloni......easy solution - one of each please.... The tiramisu was so fresh - tasted like it was just made and not something that was prepared earlier in the day.
Much easier to get to from the city than i expected using buses.
Luke was great matre'd - handling the hussel and bussel of the evening and the staff were attentive but not over bearing.
Make the effort to get to Bondi and enjoy the gastronomic experience.
Sitting outside is kinda weird with all the Harris farm shoppers rolling past but it also makes for easy conversation and people watching. The pizzas are amazing- shame the octopus isn't on the entree menu anymore- it was the best!!
Da Orazio makes italian seem easy! The food was both afforable and tasty, a great option for a group outing as the pizzas make a great share dish. Ingredients were both fresh and presentation was appetising. The only downfall of the restaurant was the atmosphere, although the restaurant was buzzing, the room amplified the sound of everyone talking so it was very very loud and very hard to communicate with my other guests who were only just across the table.
The food is delicate and flavoursome here. The menu is easy and will suit anyone's tastes. I highly recommend the porchetta and the pizzas! Customer is very engaging here.
We've been meaning to try this place which is right next to our Harris Farms market, so we passed it at least twice a week.
We were able to get in without a booking for a Friday night dinner on the way home from work and were seated at the counter, so it was a little cramped, but we were just happy to not have to wait.
The waitress was very nice and provided excellent suggestions for us. We got the antipasti of the day which came with 3 heaping plates of cheeses, cure meats, and roasted vegetables.
The pizza we got was awesome and reminded me of the pizzas I had when I studied in Italy. And excellent thin crust pizza with fluffy home made pizza dough.
I think the only thing is that the music was about 2 notches too loud, which coupled with a few sets of screaming kids brought the noise level in the place a little high. Anyway, I definitely recommend coming here at some point when you're in Bondi.
Da Orazio is Bondi’s answer to Italy’s Amalfi coast. White washed walls and furniture, a huge wood fire pizza oven, dough spinning chefs, Italian accents everywhere and a cabinet filled with top quality meats and cheese. If you dine early, you can expect it be like a rowdy child centre with kids everywhere and yummy mummies poking at their pizzas. But once 7pm hits, there is a better buzz, swift service and some of the best Italian food in the city I have done PLENTY of research to be able to have the authority to say that (and by research I mean carb loading).
Da Orazio Pizza & Porchetta in the bustling Boheme hub on Bondi’s busy Hall Street has fast become the go-to place for good Italian fare and mighty-fine pizza. Could we go as far as saying that this is Bondi’s little Italy? Considering Pasticceria Papa is several metres away, A’ Tavola and Messina are upstairs. Okay, that may be pushing it a tad.
Very authentic and very tasty pizza, friendly, attentive and efficient service, and reasonable prices considering the quality of food and service!
The dessert menu could be improved...coffee is great!
Have been a few times now and have never been disappointed with the quality of food and service!!
Highly recommended.
This is up there with my top 10 pizza experiences. The base was as a true Italian pizza should be - my only complaint was that the base of the second pizza was a tad more scorched than I would have liked. Creating a quality base is a fine skill - the perfect pliability, the thinness, the balance in flavour, mouthfeel when combined with the toppings. The quality of the toppings was excellent - creamy, salty, not too dry, each ingredient sang in harmony with the other.
Service was reasonable. Decor was unremarkable.
I would happily dine here again.
Great service and fantastic food at reasonable prices. We did a great review on there focaccia con porchetta. Only $28 and enough for 2 tbh.
Good vibes and eating.
Outstanding. The porchetta is massive and delicious
Excellent food and great service every time. We love this place and you will too!

Brilliant isn't the word !, beautiful crafted pizzas the way they should be !, made in the true and original fashion intended and certified by the Napolitan Association
Until recently if you asked most foodies to recommend Bondi’s best pizzeria chances are they’d mention Pompei’s. But, in my mind at least, this is now debatable – with Da Orazio, the relative newcomer on the block, serving up authentic Neopolitan style pizza. It was this pizza (rather than the sparkling sands of Bondi Beach) that got me across the Harbour Bridge on a sunny Saturday winter afternoon. The restaurant is actually called Da Orazio Pizza Porchetta. It’s a celebration of pizza but also a celebration of pork. A dream for pizza lovers and carnivores alike. Maurice Terzini, the owner, is well known for his fine dining Icebergs, and the sadly missed North Bondi Italian, both Bondi Beach institutions. Don’t visit Da Orazio expecting glorious water views – Da Orazio is tucked away in the Boheme development on Hall Street. Although it sits alongside Harris Farm and below residential apartments once inside you’ll forget this. Indeed with white tables and chairs, Italian staff and aut

It’s a cool and casual coastal pizzeria, decked out in various shades of white with one main attraction being the oversized pizza oven from Naples, which fills the place with so many beautiful aromas; oregano, basil … pizza….Mmmm!
Amazing Pizza and Pasta! With North Bondi Italian closing down, this is easily a great replacement. If you like authentic Italian, this is your place.
Pizzzas are like a wet towel service is good if you get staff and scaryif you get the grown ups
the lambs skewers are amazing good portion of chili oil on the house which is a plus i saw the porchetta arrive at the next table it didnt look good at all we in rome have the best all up so so but very $$$ for a bleeding pizzeria
Absolutely delicious!. I really enjoyed dinner here tonight. It was busy so we sat at the bar stools and enjoyed great service. We ordered a salad each, which were generous and had the most delicious tasty vinegar, and shared the prosciutto pizza. Not much to say other than it was absolutely delicious, filling, and made me one happy customer. Definitely visiting next time I'm in Bondi!
Tasty wood-fired authentic pizzas. Been here twice and love the simple authentic pizzas, bustling atmosphere, delicious aroma and beautiful domed pizza oven. Tried the prosciutto and diavoletta, olives, broccolini, endive salad, slow roasted pork, lamb skewers which are all incredible. Great reasonably priced red wine - Abruzzo $7 a glass. The service was rather abrupt on one visit and I'd recommend sitting in the middle of the restaurant rather than the stools at the bar.
A Pizza Place Worth coming back for. Went here with my cousin last night..We love every single bite of their pizza.. Thin, crispy, chewy and tasty..I'm so glad I didn't live nearby..but I will be returning to try their other creations..Their Focaccia Con Porchetta was huge servings..we couldn't finish it by ourselves..I have to take away those..but their original pizza was heavenly..no other pizza place could match the base bread this place has produced.
Great restaurant and good food. Highly recommended!. It's a restaurant with simple decoration. Food are delicious. Service is fast and staffs are friendly. Everything in this restaurant is very consistent (decorations, staff's uniform and their food)....love this restaurant ...definitely will go back there for more....
Outstanding. Came on a Wednesday with girls ordered a Reginella Pizza, Siciliana Calzone and the Foccacia Con Porchetta. They were all absolutely to die for. Best pizza and Foccacia I have ever tried. Couln’t eat it quick enough. The place was packed yet we got a table and the food came quickly, the waiter was attentive and authentically Italian. The Foccacia was so big I ate half and took the rest home. Great value. Great vibe in there, everyone seemed happy. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant!! Food is simple, but delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. Good wine list and fabulous atmosphere (although can get a bit loud). The signature pork dish is AMAZING!!
MY FAVOURITE RESTURANT !!. So I was excited to find out that round the corner from my home Maurice had opened a new RESTURANT in the new Adina development. I had been so disappointed with the closure of NBI that I could hardly wait! My first experience there was fantastic and has never ceased to be anything different. Fortunate to be seated quickly, with amazig service. Then we get to the food and the wine!! No 8, you are my drink of choice- Campari, Vodka and red Grapefruit- highy reconmended !! The Pizza and Porchetta is absolutely Devine! I don't even like roast pork but I cannot get enough of it here! The pizza base is so fresh and yummy just on its own! Very neopolitian style with the wood fire oven and the simplistic toppings but do amazingly tasty! The staff are amazing and quick considering they are always under the pump with the full resturant. Da orazio has quickly become my favourite resturant and I often find myself frequenting minimum once a week for dinner!! Highly reconmended! But I would recommend making a booking in advance. Great with a group of four or two.
Firstly , no one should complain.? Why every complaint I see Is bla bla bla and so on.
I think 95% of the critics is because they a used to a franchise pizza ,not to mention this is a pizza for people that really know what quality is.
I was there a couple of nights ago and everything we ordered was 10 out of 10.
I will be back more than once.
Great place, amazing pizza!!! Staff not very friendly....
What a great night. Not everyday you can go out for dinner and leave a place without breaking the bank and feel great about your experience.
Da Orazio is one of those little gems as soon as you walk in you see what a great place is all about.
the guys are running off their feet and are still able to make you feel welcome and deliver good service and great food at an amazing price
I call that awesome
I also feel sorry for the guy at the door that is juggling phone people walking in and customers that not always are that friendly ...
I can't wait to go back they rocked my night Focaccia is a must and pizza too it is better then many places in the old country.
thumbs up guys we loved it
Incredible. You simply will not find better pizza or italian food in sydney. better than via napoli, pompeiis, rosso pommodorro, popolo, the list goes on.
sensational. will be back many times.
cheers
