Review The Nine - Bondi

For the Love of Food
3.5/5 ⭐️ Pretty exxy for brunch, but I feel like this is expected in Bondi. Our dishes were great portions, our eggs were perfect and everything was seasoned well enough. The waitress who served us seemed to have a bit of an unwarranted attitude which soured the mood. They were happy to make a new coffee when they got the order wrong. They have a large menu so you’re bound to find something you like. Nothing in particular wowed us but it was far from being terrible.

Great place with chill music background. Got myself pumpkin soup (seems it is a new chefs special) and long black ! Both were delicious 👌🏼
David Morrison
I was only in the area for the weekend but a friend recommended this place to me and I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the lamb sausage and the coffee was superb. The only slight negative is the cup the coffee was served in meant it didn't stay hot for long but this is a minor complaint to a great place and great brunch. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Great bagel, but Unfortunately I chose an iced drink and didn’t get a perfect koala 🐨 on it😭
Andrew Thornton
Delicious! Tea, coffee and food were off tap. The only draw back was that we had pretty much finished our drinks by the time the food came out. Otherwise, they more than made up for it by the great service they provided while I was buying some coffee beans!
Jennifer Chou
Cool food but some vegan options weren't as good
Annie B
Cute, innovative menu - the coffees were nice but the "baked" eggs slightly underwhelming as they were not really baked (poached and added on top of the sauce) and the tomato sauce was a but bland but overall enjoyed it! Would return but would pick something else on the menu. Service was very good!

Such a cute little gem in Bondi! We went there for a birthday brunch and the team was very thoughtful to ensure that we all had a good time. The food was super delicious, the coffee amazing and the service outstanding. Love how much attention to detail they have for everything they put on the table. Will definitely come back!

I had a very positive experience at the Nine, the staff were very friendly, and the food was even better! I would recommend it to anyone that just loves eating as much as I do, and wants to discover very interesting and tasty dishes. The coffee and the breakfast are also a must, I certainly recommend this place.

Food on point. Service on point. Coffee on point. It's now my friends and I's favourite shop in Bondi. Keep killing it THE NINE.
Natalie Synnött
wow definitely the worst breakfast I have paid for ~ the menu listed 'broccolini' with 'The Nine' dish-- but instead I was horrified to find extremely overcooked and fart-esque smelling broccoli sleeping on top of overcooked scrambled eggs that were somewhere between that and an omelette you expect from a family hotel buffet. The kale was in large chunks and uncooked (?blasphemy unless shredded finely???) as if it were garnish like curly parsley decorated in a butchers window display, and for almost $20 this is insane ~~~~ So bad ~~~~~
Rebecca Metcalfe
I loved it! The shakshuka was delicious, by far the best we have had in bondi, and the kingfish was to die for. Every item on the menu is super healthy and fresh, but still manages to taste exciting. Can't complain at all, service was spot on too, although we did have to wait 15 mins for a table. Good things come to those who wait!

What a little Gem After moving up from Melbourne just 2 years ago struggled to find great coffee and food until Nine opened right on my door step. Awesome breakfast. Great coffee. Gorgeous staff that make you feel welcome So glad they now open for evenings

I’ve been to The Nine already twice and will repeat it for sure ! Perfect spot for a coffee break or a brunch. I had the Mediterranean bowl last time and it was delicious just as I like it ! Would definitely recommend it !

Absolutely amazing! Best coffee I've had in Bondi. Service was fantastic, food was so delicious. Best experience I've had dining out in a long time. I purchased a groupon and I'm so glad I've found this place. I'll be back (again and again I'm sure)!
Fran Freiman
Really bad attitude. Waited for 40 minutes and toast was cold. When we complained were told that toast was not meant to be hot. Waitress was very very rude and then we found out that she was actually the owner. Would not recommend it at all and would never ever go there again. Most unpleasant experience.

New gem in bondi - great coffee and great quality focused food. Menu was inventive but still had all the basics - I tried the special of the day 'Salmon Nicoise' it was Absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back
Loz Ellis
Average at best. Waited almost an hour for smashed avocado with no explanation or apology until prompted. Then our bill had many items that were not ours. Need to lift their game.

Bondi living encapsulates the "cafe culture" The Nine offers more than superb masterful coffe's with on trend in-house almond blend milk. Seb and the team are welcoming and friendly. When I step foot into the Nine, I become part of the family. Thankyou Seb, For youre flawless hospitality and making me feel at home. Oh yeah, best Almond latte in town! ✌️
Yvette Bainey
My husband and I tried The Nine last Thursday morning. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Water was served without needing to be asked. Coffee and food was on point! We will be back!
Flore Poughon
Great new place in Bondi ! The dishes are nicely decorated with care, and it is as much a pleasure to look at as to taste. Definitely worth trying !
Lucy D'Cruz
Decided to try this place as it is fairly new but was less than impressed. Half an hour wait for a cup of tea to come despite asking twice. 40mins for our food to arrive and then sides were missing. A couple next to us who arrived 20mins after us got their food first. I like crispy bacon but this was burnt beyond recognition and inedible. I was told it was meant to be like that which perhaps needs to be explained upon ordering. The rest of the food was nice but this place needs to up it's game if it wants to compete with the many other great brunch options in Bondi. It is new so hopefully it'll improve with time.
Morgan Stone
Great food, great service and even better coffee- I couldn't ask for anything else.
Jess Ngo
I had the polenta mushrooms which were really delicious. The polenta was crispy and the staff are really kind. Would love to come back again!
Baz Juan Pablo Sanchez
Service was a little slow when it came to the food, but relatively fast on beverages. I think they need to solve that as it can be annoying waiting for food and burning through multiple drinks waiting. That aside the food was pretty good and hit the right notes. Overall the food is what matters and they made up for the delay with good food
Alexandra Juan
Service was kind of bad. Waited for 50 mins for bagel and egg and they served me sourdough, politely informed them of my order and they said sorry, but had to wait about another 10 mins for them to replace the bread and noticed they cut off some of the ricotta cheese on the correct serving.
Cosmo Lynx
The dishes were average. They should put more effort into the menu. But it wasn’t bad at all.

What an awesome place in Bondi! I will for sure visit repeatedly with my family and friends again. This is the BEST cafe I found in Australia. They make great inhouse almond milk coffees and delicious lattes. They focus on incredibly healthy and organic farm to table concept. The owner is super friendly. Simply AMMAAAZZZZING!
Bajaj57
What an amazing place to have a long brunch with your friends! They serve outstanding coffees. One can find exquisite lunch options. Anyone looking for healthy yet delicious menu options – I bet this is the place for you. Service here is impeccable and the menu offered at a very modest price. This café is my personal favorite for Breakfast and Lunch. The owner of the café would certainly go an extra mile to get you what your taste bud desires.

#thenine #bondibeachsydney

What a lovely place to have a long lunch with your family! Service is so homely and warm, the coffees are outstanding with their in house brewed almond and academia milk, the lunch options are so truely European that I feel I am back in my hometown of Greece! The food is so healthy yet delicious, not at all full of sugar like the other cafes which are only concentrating on making it Instagram friendly, with no thought on the ingredients going in the body. I feel very much at home here, and always catch up with my family and friends for weekend gossip sessions. The cocktails are surprisingly very low priced at 12 dollars, which allows us to have a couple of rounds of delicious Bloody Mary’s to accompany the meal nicely

Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Quality of food is impeccable. I love the bacon and eggs, wellness porridge and turkish baked eggs. This cafe captures the essence of a beachside experience, with clearly an upmarket, eastern sydney crowd visiting. It has unique Mediterranean dishes that make for a great brunch experience. Tip: Not a place for people who want a quick ten dollar "big breakfast" experience. This is a refined cafe which has a specific upper crust of society visiting regularly for New York style long brekkies and brunches
Priyanka Bajaj
It's a perfect place for those who love to have there food with a style statement, this place is a best combination of taste & feel. Served with smile.
Nancy White
Impeccable service with simply outstanding wholesome and delicious Mediterranean feast. Great for friends and family. I also had a birthday organized here and the pricing was so modest, and the service delivered five star. I especially loved halloumi grilled croquettes and the fact that their almond milk is made in house with activated almonds. The pricing justifies the high quality organic produce they serve, as compared to a lot of other cafes serving high sugar rubbish just to please instagrammers. Very happy with service definitely recommend my friends and family to visit.

A short 10 minute walk from the hub bub of Bondi Beach you will find this little gem. It was a spur of the moment decision to try this place after a beautiful Bondi to Coegee to Bondi walk.

To quench our thirst we opted for a watermelon 🍉 and mint Kombucha ( fermented with reverse osmosis water, green tea, white tea, raw sugar, fresh pressed watermelon and mint).

We ordered:
Seeded bagel topped with salmon, free range poached eggs🥚,hollandaise sauce and garnished with mixed sprouts and shiso.
Halloumi Croquettes: Cheese halloumi croqette, heirloom tomato shallot salad, free range poached egg, smashed avocado, balsamic glaze and herb infused croutons.

Both beautiful presented and delicious dishes served by friendly staff. The Nine cafe serves up Mediterranean style dishes using mainly organic and chemical free ingredients (which is what i love about this place). They offer an All Day Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch.

#sydneyrestaurant #brunch #lunch #nyeats #hkeats #londonfoodie #hkfoodie #sydneyfoodie #lafoodie #sgfoodie #melbournefoodie #adelaidefoodie #instafood #torontoeats #pertheats #brisbanefoodie #melbourneeats #japanesefoodie #sydneystreetfood #instagood #southafricanfoodies

One of the best Australian coffees that I had.

This a quaint little cafe at a great location at Bondi. Even though limited, the Mediterranean menu seems carefully curated to match the Australia vibe. The owner will go all out to guide you for the meal as per your tastes and will ensure that you leave the place with a happy tummy and a happy face :)

Loved the avocado toast with sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms. It's a must go for food lovers.

AMAZING AMAZING Food - delicious and genuinely Mediterranean food with healthy and organic farm to table concept. Such a good change from other rubbish cafes serving oodles and oodles of sugary pancakes and honeyed items just to be famous on social media! I love the almond latte this is the only cafe I found in Australia that makes almond milk in house. I am going to visit this place with my beautiful family at least once in the weekends to be energised for the week ahead. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Inviting, bright & open space immediately makes you feel relax. The food was amazing too. Sounds pretty simple, it was anything but. The king size mushrooms of different varieties were nicely seasoned & smelled great. The bocconcini cheese was soft & fluffy textured, great offset to the crunchy toast. Also added a side of lamb sausages, which gave the dish a saltiness & a different texture. The green juice was refreshing too. Nice food don't come cheap though, the juice alone was $9.50, plus $26 for the food. Pretty pricey for cafe food, definitely a once in a while treat.
KOptimax Corp
Incredible brekkie, brunch and lunch options. Very impressed by the service and the cost effectiveness (as the dishes presented are fine dining European quality). Great high end coffee and delicious cocktails. I even hosted a private event which was so reasonably prices and executed with such finesse! My favourite cafe in Sydney just love it!
Swapan Haldar
Amazing delicious food, possibly the best cafe in Bondi Beach. Great Mediterranean dishes with impressive cocktails and specialty coffee. Its for the higher end food connoisseurs who love to cruise around Sydney and check out the hottest brunch spots. If people come expecting a cheap $10 meal then they will surely be upset and possibly might not enjoy the food as it is headed by a hatted chef with clearly very refined tastes.
QueenBee
Came here with a dimmi offer, breakfast was quite okay - had eggs and the coffee was okay. A bit pricey for what it is if I had been paying full price.
Kalpana Saha
We loved this café during our last trip to Sydney. The waiters took time to understand what we like for eating and drinking. We liked the bowls, bagel, tartine and baked eggs and the relaxed atmosphere in the Cafe. This is cool organic brunch at such good value. They serve organic wines and cocktails as well. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I don't usually write reviews but this place has forced me to write one. Many joints in Bondi are trying, claiming or pretending to offer healthy food on their menu. Many tricks are used by owners to persuade customers there is a healthy menu served.

Not the case with Nine. Tried several drinks and dishes and was surprised to find practically almost all of the ingredients to be healthy. Incredibly tasty as well! Chef does a good job combining a large variety of ingredients in one dish, making it tasty and filling.

They make almond milk in house and it's the best almond latte I have ever had. The Nine Tartine with mushrooms was to die for. The banana bread is also made in house and was simply amazing as it wasn't overly sweet. I would definitely recommend this place if you're after a healthy and sumptuous meal.
On my recent trip to Australia, I visited this new cafe Nine. Highly impressed with the menu and quality of food. It has One of the best Mediterranean dishes I have had in recent time. Prepared with exotic and organic products. It's a must visit place near Bondi beach. It has a very soothing interior and music. Any one can sit for hours and spend there time sipping coffee and have exotic food

ORGANIC DELICIOUS LUNCH | BONDI VIBES | SPLIT BILLS

Delicious breakfast and brunch options....organic drinks...service is friendly. Interior decoration is very European, stylish and has a cool and relaxed vibe. Very classy - you would think this place is expensive, as they have sourced their food from high end quality suppliers as mentioned in their menu. However it is very reasonably priced for the refined dishes they offer. Great place to have a catch up with friends as it allows SPLIT BILLS!!! Very rare places in Australia allows that.
Eddo
Pretty average- nothing special to justify the price point but I wouldn't fault anything. Don't think I will be going back because this is so similar to any other cafe out there.
Sacreativeinc
Great organic innovative and creative breakfast and lunch options, with a whole range of organic wines and cocktails to choose from. Generous portions and service is from the heart. Quintessential Bondi Cafe. Must visit!

The Nine Cafe had a 50% off food deal on Dimmi so I needed to give it a go.

Presentation:
The food and drinks looked really nice, almost too good to eat!

Taste:
Mediterranean Bowl: consisted of quinoa, avo, feta, beetroot hummus, poached egg, and dukkah. It was hearty and fresh. But it got a bit boring towards the end.
Pomegranate Cured Salmon: avo, poached egg, and sourdough. The salmon was delicious but there wasn't enough of it. Overall, it was a good dish.
Iced Chocolate: probably one of the worst iced chocolates I've ever had. I hate it when pompous brunch restaurants try to hard and ruin something so simple. The iced chocolate was so bitter and had absolutely no sweetness to it. People who order chocolate drinks want something chocolatey and sweet. I wanted something bitter, would've ordered a coffee.

Service: the staff were polite and seated us quickly. Food and drinks came out soon after we ordered it.

Location/Atmosphere: located 5minutes walk from Bondi Beach. Cosy cafe with modern furnishings and nice decor.

Recommendation: if you can, get the deal on Dimmi, because it's definitely worth it. I recommend you avoid the chocolate drinks at all cost. Hopefully they'll see this review and change it. I'd definitely will be back because it's a great deal and the food was good.

Cost:
Food: $19.50 + $21 = $40.50/2 = $20.50
Drinks: $5 + $3.5 = $8.50
Total: $29

Coffee comes in the cutest cups! Food is quite overpriced for what it is, but we had a discount so it was quite value for money. Nothing super special with the food, but quite healthy choices available!

Came here last weekend for the first time, overall an ok experience.

The Mediterranean bowl ($18.50) was alright, what you see is what you get. The baked eggs ($19.50) were tasty albeit on the watery/soupy side. The crab omelette ($22) was decent but would’ve been nice with some sourdough perhaps to be more filling.

The muffins and banana bread ($5.50) on the other hand were delicious - moist, fresh, not overly sweet, and had a great fluffy texture.

The cafe has a relaxed beachy vibe, a nice place for a quiet morning alone or with friends, although the music was a little loud. Service was great - loved the French waiter, who was patient and helpful.
Rathness
The food was okay, but it took a while for 4 meals even though it wasn’t that busy. Serving sizes aren’t generous considering the price.
The French waiter was a bit rude. The coffee was pretty good though, would come back just for the take away coffee.
Leon
The Nine is a neighbourhood cafe in Bondi which features a simple beach-themed interior with beautiful blooming plants and elegant crockeries. Featured in Broadsheet’s list of top cafes in Sydney, the mystifying cafe underwhelms completely.

I ordered their popular Beetroot and Buckwheat pancakes with kale and avocado and kombucha this morning. The pancakes did not have the fluff, texture or flavour. You cannot taste any beetroot, buckwheat, cumin or coconut and the burnt pancakes were dry and bitter. Anyone who have tried pancakes were from Hale & Hearty would notice the big difference. Perhaps they need to get to the basics. God Bless.
MJ Schepel
Good portions, good coffee, excellent service! It's been a while since we had such a pleasant experience for brunch. The place has a great atmosphere and you can feel they put a lot of love in this place. Definitely coming back!
Brunonono...
Be it the deco, the coffee, the food and the service it was all faultless but sadly that portion of lamb was a bit underwhelming....

I guess what this place lacks is a bit of surprise...it's solid food but it really lacks the wow factor...the "gram" factor perhaps?

Will be back if we see a menu update!
Christina Görgens
Hi, I am Christina and its my first review on Zomato. If you are interested in Sydney food inspiration pictures, look up my account @christina_slifestyle on instagram. I really liked the cafe, the interior is all bright and it is a really enjoyable neat and premium atmosphere for brunch and lunch, especially because its close to bondi beach, funky pies just across the street, so totally easy to find and the bus stop is just next to it. I am vegan, and it was no problem to veganize the dishes. there is the already vegan porridge and they have a vegan muffin. WE had the mediterranean bowl and the smashed avo as well as the strawberry sorbet and it was mouthwatering! i think they would o a great job introduciing further vegan options but already now, you can enjoy most of the menu if you are vegan, it demands just some minor changes to the meals.

I add some photos because, you know pictures say more than words..
Pepsi
Don't mind waiting for food and I'm no stranger to an over-priced avocado. However, this place lacked vibe, flavour and service. Won't rush back here.
@burgersnbikinis
Came for a chilled Sunday brunch with friends - and even better you can book! Got a nice outside table and started with coffees. This place is quite healthy for my standards haha but the food was on point. We got 3 shakshukas which were full of warm winter goodness and served with crusty bread. Then we got one of the Uber healthy bowls filled with chicken, veggies, etc. I had the coastal avo smash which was a bit full on with kale, but still quite nice. A great place for a not too hectic Bondi brunch.
Laura Blanot
I really like the brunch here. Very friendly staff. Nice music. Recommend the coconut polenta porridge and the avocado smash. Good coffee as well.
C
Horrific experience!!! DO NOT EAT HERE. Service was shocking - guy with glasses making the coffees was possibly the rudest person ever. "I'm making coffee ask someone else to help you" was the way he greeted us. It took 45 mins to put in a coffee and food order, and the food was below average at best. Quote possibly the worst breakfast place in Bondi! Way over priced for the terrible food!
Matt Sweeney
Friendly service, but disappointing food. The tomato in the med bowl featured raw slices of the big supermarket type tomato - tasteless and quite frankly a bit careless. A shame.
M
Easily the best place in Bondi for breakfast without a doubt. Service is great, food is delicious and there are options for everybody. I've lived in Bondi my whole life and I highly recommend this place above any others in Bondi
Issac_eatsalot
Stopped by to talk menu with the owners because of their organic approach and got talked Into trying the porchetta sandwich. Slow cooked pork, chili romesco, pickles and cucumber. I added balsamic crusted bacon. It was great. Might change the lettuce to slaw - but otherwise very good feed.
E
One of the biggest disappointments I have had in some time.. It took 50 mins to get baked eggs and a breakfast bowl, which was pathetic. Very expensive for what you get in comparison to the other cafes around Bondi. Would not recommend.
Đào Việt Nhật Mỹ
Limited menu but quite good food. I had the Baked Egg for my brunch and it's healthy and yummy. The ice chai latte is quite disappointed since it's not much flavor. 26$ for both of those is not a bad idea.
Jess
Nice quite cafe away from the main road. Loved the decor and staff here who were warm and welcoming on entry. There was only one other table taken when I was here (it was a week morning) and the food came quick.

I ordered their version of avocado on toast - which tasted amazing and my friend ordered the coconut quinoa porridge. We were both pretty disappointed with the porridge which wasn't flavoursome. The dish looked very pretty though.
Oliver James Atkins
Best cafe in Bondi and most likely Sydney by far. Amazing food with quality organic produce, careful presentation and bags of flavor. Professional and attentive service. Something you don't often find in Sydney's cafes. And quite possibly the best coffee being served anywhere. Try the single origin long black form El Salvador. A gem of a spot and our favorite!
Thefoodbotherer
Delicious healthy organic offerings from The Nine was the highlight of my Saturday. Hubs got the poached chicken salad which he loved and I got the lamb salad which was amazing. Hubs also got a single rye organic scotch ($22 but worth it in his opinion) and I got an organic prosecco which was lovely. Staff really friendly and they even gave hubs a complimentary muffin for his birthday. Highly recommend
Anna Rogers
Worst service - completely unprofessional. Every cafe has bad days but it's how you handle it that makes all the difference. In The Nine's case they did a shocking job. We sat down and I ordered a drink. We then waited and waited to have our food order taken. I had to ask two staff before our order was finally taken. And it's not like they were run off their feet serving other tables. One of them was even standing listlessly behind the counter filling water bottles. The waitress who took our order then asked me if I wanted a drink even though she had taken my drink order when we first arrived. Ok, no big deal so far. But this set the style for the rest of our experience.
My husband had to wait 20 mins for his coffee, even though they were only half full and the barista was doing anything but make coffee. We then waited and waited for our food. We finally asked how long it would be as we had a flight to catch. The barista apologised and said it would only be a few minutes. Ten minutes later, still no food. My husband went up to counter and said we had been waiting over 45 mins. The barista then said it was typical to wait 30 mins for food on the weekend. But we were beyond 30 mins and last interaction we'd had with him, he apologised and said food was a few minutes away. We then asked for food takeaway. This still took another five minutes to organise. We rushed out with food in hand - couldn't eat it in the Uber on way to airport. When we finally got to eat our food I realised they had not included my chorizo or poached egg in my order. That's $9 worth of food - The Nine got us for 9. Oh and there was no cutlery or napkins included in our takeaway. Check out my pic to see the $27 dish that was thrown into a takeaway container (minus the egg and chorizo). Just a completely careless attitude from this place. Will never go back. If these guys had the courtesy and professionalism to handle our experience genuinely then I wouldn't be writing this review.

Can't believe its been monthsss since I posted my last entry.. Well nowadays Instagram and Snapchats have taken over foodblogging since it's easier and faster to post photos and write up some comments underneath. But somehow sometimes I enjoyed blogging much more since I can write up as long as I wanted to ;P

This is another place my wife had on her hit list. We decided to have brunch here on the public holiday Monday, of the Queen's birthday.
Suprisingly, we were seated pretty quickly. They do have a name list for when it gets busy, which it did a while after we were seated. The decor was nice and service was really good.
We both ordered a coffee, it wasn't really to my liking as it was a little weak, and my wife wasn't much of a fan either.
My wife ordered the nine tartine. I guess you would call it a healthy option, being scrambled eggs on toast with kale and broccoli, hummus and feta. One slice of toast and a bit yolky, she preferred dipping into my choice. I thought it was a little pricey for what it was, but then again it is in the Bondi Beach precinct.
I ordered the baked eggs 'pisto' which was nice, with 2 eggs a tomato based sauce with capsicum, zuccini. This dish was also served with labne and toast. A good winter brunch option.
This cafè was a little expensive, but the service was great and it had a cool setting close to the beach.

So glad to have finally had an excellent brekky in Sydney. The cafe is new and possibly a bit cliche hipster style: White subway tiles and Edison lights, potted herbs, minimalist bespoke looking furniture. the menu too seems sparse but the portions are generous, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The brekky salad was excellent, although I think a touch overpriced (it's Sydney) but it was almost perfect. Great coffee. Staff are friendly yet reserved. Fair bit of street grunge and traffic noise but that's Bondi.
TraceyCharlotte
The Nine is a great new café err.... eatery (thanks to the rude server for correcting me) that opened in Bondi about 4 months ago. It has a great concept (cuisine sampled from 9 Mediterranean countries) and great chefs to execute the dishes. I was quite blown away by how delicious the dishes were. The Israel Couscous is a fantastic savory brunch dish and the broccoli toastie is surprisingly quite good as well. I think this joint will be around for a long time.

Went here last week and the staff were really friendly. We had a French waitress who was lovely and checked on us throughout our visit to see that everything was covered.

We ordered the lamb couscous and the chicken sandwich and both dishes were great, especially the couscous. Will definitely be going back for that dish 😀

Coffee is average, nothing to write home about but also no complaints. Go for the cute decor, friendly staff and good food.

Simply Starving
Yum! Easily one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I ordered the beetroot cured salmon which was delicate, delicious and fresh. The coffee was smooth and strong and the staff were friendly and laid back, without being pretentious. Definitely one of my new favs! Highly recommend!

I have never had such an interesting and tasty meal before. The presentation was perfection and the cafe was super fresh and clean. Will definitely be returning soon!

Iv never had such an intersestjng brekkie! The 9 grain granola/Bircher is off the hook! So tasty! Presentation is amazing and there's a French chick there that gives only the frenchest amount of fucks about ur experience. The French effect is strong with that one. The food tho is unbelievable- coffee amazing too.
La Petite Bobo
Decided to visit The Nine on a Saturday morning. Luckily I went early coz this place fills up quickly! The decor of the cafe is light and fresh, perfect for its beach setting. The coffee here is great, noting that they even use cashew milk as a dairy-free alternative (something I'll definitely have to try next time).
The food is what you come to the nine for. Super fresh, healthy and seasonal, the nine serves a variety of unusual flavour combinations that are a winner every time. Can't wait to get back to this cafe!
