Extraordinary banquet dinner, drinks and desserts at China Diner, a contemporary Asian inspired venue with an amazing selection of delicious food. I thought everything was so delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. Such a fantastic venue to spend with friends or family.

Omg! The serving is so little 3 pcs of small dimsum in a big bamboo steamer....and so expensive. The steam fish w/ ginger cost $36 we thought it is a whole fish but only a sliced of fish fillet...won't go back there anymore...a Chinese resto but i don't even see one chinese who served us.

China Diner is modern Chinese and yum cha perfection. Their dumplings are delicate, always steaming fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service is attentive, and the cocktails are amazing!

Love this place and it’s funky vibe! Delicious Asian inspired dishes will have your tastebuds travelling all over the continent and its myriad of flavours. Good drinks selection as well, great service but it is the food that is the real star. Masaman beef curry was thick and oh so full of flavour, a must have!

Thank you China Diner and the dream team of Julia and Nolan who spoiled me and my brother for this special night! It’s incredibly hard to find a place that tastes like home, feels like a treat and makes you swoon with incredible service (yes baby - we got ice cream on the house!!!)
We had the $65 pax banquet and we could barely finish. When it comes to Chinese food I could be ultra picky and I have to say the chef here absolutely nailed the layers of flavour and textures.
Personally, I adored the prawn and fungi wonton, the Xiao Long Bao, the steamed fish and the chilli caramel pork belly - each stunning in its own way.
I’m blown away and am definitely coming back!!

Celebrated my birthday at China Diner with two friends! One of the most spectacular experiences in a restaurant I've ever had! Duck pancakes and 'Dragon Ball Z' dumplings were incredible but by far my favourite dish had to be the pork belly. Service was great, the wait staff was welcoming and attentive. Would definitely recommend to out of town visitors or people in Bondi looking to treat themselves.

Great service and the waiter saw I was struggling with a mild chilli dish and advised me of my order of Masaman curry was extremely spicy and would not be a good choice and we changed it,food was really nice and the Kingfish ceviće was on point �.

Great place! Came in with a girlfriend and sat at the bar. Bar staff was very knowledgeable about wines but ended up with the Lemongrass cocktail - delicious!
Ordered the scallops, duck pancakes, and pork belly. All were great. Especially the scallops!!

Been several times, dishes seem to be getting smaller and price increasing. Asked 2 separate wait staff for a condiment, nothing - on the third go another waitress snapped at me and told me it was coming. Paid the bill in cash the waiter asked if I wanted the change - $35!!! Won't be rushing back.

Went in for a first date last night....got a nice table in the corner of the restaurant and settled on the 50$ per person menu. ALOT of food for two people and we didnt even finish! Scollops entre were lovely, cabbage lovely, calamari with the mayo lovely, braised beef and rice was the height of the evening...the only draw back was the prawns as they were a bit salty for me but then again i dont like alot of salt. Really nice and friendly attentive American waitress, Elliot the manager came over and checked up on us. Great time, will be back again :)

The girl with the brown hair and fringe serving our table was so lovely. The chef is incredible, the flavour combinations even in the vegan meals were to die for! We were blown away by the generously kind gestures that accompanied the brilliant food. So happy I brought my family here for their first dinner in Bondi, 5 stars! X
