Review Parida Bondi - Bondi

Ellen Lovett
Visited Bondi a little while ago but could never remember what this place was called - but OMG do or ever remember how I felt when I had this breakfast!!! One of the best breakfasts I've ever had and it's one I always think about! The staff were so friendly, the food was so delicious and we had a beautiful table outside with a great view of the beach! Cannot wait to come back one day and have this deliciousness all over again! šŸ¤ŒšŸ»

It is located right on the main road. There is no dedicated parking for the restaurant but there are paid parking spots outside and on the opposite side of the road. Seating available for 24 people inside and around 20 people outside. Service is really quick and the staff are friendly. Food and coffee are top notch.

Great spot for brunch. Eggs Benedict with feta and avocado smash was one of the best Iā€™ve had. Great flavours and balanced dish. Matcha latte was really good.

Went there two mornings and had a very good service from Michael and good food and drinks (Decaf Late and Tea) definitely recommend going!

Very conveniently located nice cosy place with good contemporary design. Nice friendly staff, quick service, no queues in the morning (go see other Bondi places) and great breakfast menu. Nothing dull, I enjoyed a simple but well made breakfast /brunch roll and the burrito. Coffee was also great, quite enjoyed the quality of the coffee machine. Much appreciated for your work guys

We had the lamb wrap and lamb salad. The lamb was super juicy and tender, did not disappoint. Lovely service from staff also.

I been for a double shot, short black requesting in a ceramic cup paying at the counter to the barista. After 5 minutes he ignored my request and he did in a takeaway cup. I complained for the takeaway cup, so what he did it was to pour in a ceramic cap. I complained because I am a coffee lover and do that it will change the taste. He asked to the manager to remake the coffee and she wants to charge me again for an other coffee, really? The barista make mistakes and I should be charge?

I really enjoyed trying the spring menu at Parida Bondi. The staff were really friendly and gave us excellent recommendations. šŸ„° šŸ³Parida's Benedict with grilled haloumi ($20) šŸŒ½Corn fritters + bacon ($22.5) šŸ¹Bondi juice ($9) šŸ§ƒBerry smoothie ($9) The servings were really generous, and beautifully plated šŸ˜. I especially love that they didn't hold back on loading the dishes with avo šŸ„‘! We were really full by the end of it (not complaining though! šŸ˜‹) and the staff said they preferred it that way. I've never actually had corn fritters before so I didn't know what to expect. They were lovely, the mix of different textures and flavours was impeccable. It was sweet corn, stacked with salsa and poached egg, and the salty bacon šŸ„“was a nice touch. The eggs benny also looked amazing. Great vibes being located across bondi beach šŸŒŠwith both indoor and outdoor seating. I adore the rustic and colourful interior (especially the tiles and comfy chairs). I'm so tempted to go back and try other menu items, especially since the weather is warming up! ā˜€ļø

We had several meals in Parida Bondi during our two weeks stay in Bondi Beach. It became our favorite restaurant. ItĀ“s a great location with very nice atmosphere. We appreciate that you could get a table outside. The staff is very serviceminded and we always could get the food very fast also when the restaurant was crowded. My favorite for breakfast was Avocado and haloumi stack. For lunch the beef burger with sweet potato fries. Of course we always started our meal with a very good tasted coffee.

Loved the dinner. The chef was able to balance light summery food with a hearty and filling base. I really loved the range the menu offered, olive tapenade, fig salad, fried crab, tenderloin cooked at temperature to the best Yorkshire pudding I've ever had. Fresh simple ingredients producing great flavours - highly recommended.

Huge fan of Parida ā€“ have eaten there a few times since it opened and the food and service are always amazing. Such a good location, and the popcorn chicken + chorizo croquettes are incred. Would highly recommend!

Not my first time here and I never get disappointed. Food is always delicious, the staff is very friendly and the service impeccable! Will definitely be back and recommend it to all my friends

I can't get enough of the Parida breakfast. I've never had potato rostis so fluffy and light yet crunchy on the outside. Paired with smoked salmon, avocado and whipped feta, cherry tomatoes, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce you can't go wrong. It's a tummy pleaser. Can't wait to go back to try the lunch and tapas menu. I sampled the triple cooked chips and I think they're the best chips I've had in Sydney. ļæ½

Very nice little place. Better go early on Sunday breakfast as it crowded. Very good service and food. And they have almond milk!

Amazingly delicious array of tapas on the menu, incredibly friendly service and a great spot right near Bondi Beach. Also, with BYO as an option you have a very reasonably priced lunch spot!

Best brunch spot in Bondi! Friendly staff, great coffe and their Parida Benedict is a must try!

The atmosphere is always welcoming and comfortable. I am a vegetarian and the staff and chef were awesome and accomodating- the food was excellent! Will be taking family and friends here ļæ½

The food was delicious, I had the smashed Avo and they made me a fresh juice of my choice without an issue. Staff were extremely friendly and the environment the music was perfect!! See you guys again soon
Asha Kayla
Lovely food but the portion sizes are ridiculously small. Good coffee too.
Mark Theodossiou
Thank you Parida, simply delicious food, outstanding customer service. Weā€™ll be back!

Food was amazing I could eat the pop corn chicken all day!! This is a great place to hang out with a group of mates...
Boaz Shemesh
Went for breakfast. Tasty food but left hungry after super small portions. Probably won't be back.

Where to start ?, well letā€™s start with the flavors or lack of flavors to be more precise. The poached eggs were actually boiled internally, the Siracha Eggs lacked seasoning or any hint of Siracha apart from the cookout for that matter. Rather disappointed as the staff were lovely and I was pretty sure I was in for a treat. It couldā€™ve been an off day, maybe another visit down the track might be in order

Such a great cafe - made even better by its location!
Staff were super lovely and personable. Thereā€™s a small indoor seating area and plenty of comfortable outdoor tables. Very comfortable seats!
Everything we ordered was spectacular. The coconut cold drip coffee was a refreshing spin on a traditional cold drip and suited the atmosphere a lot. We had the roasted mushrooms (as pictured) and the bacon eggs benedict (with added haloumi) which were both super yummy! The mushrooms were probably my favourite brunch/lunch item Iā€™ve had in Sydney so far!
An absolute 10/10 cafe! Highly recommend stopping there while youā€™re in Bondi!

Fantastic dining experience at Parida Bondi! Staff are warm and welcoming. The manager showed a very good knowledge of the menu and was able to provide his recommendations for dishes and drinks. I tried both the vegan burger, which had pulled BBQ jackfruit, and the paleo escobar and was impressed with the intensity and balance of flavours. The presentation of the paleo escobar could be improved as the plate felt a little empty with so much space between each component. Perhaps if it had been presented on a smaller plate, it would have felt more generous. Cappuccino and Bondi juice were great.

If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

For some seriously delicious brunch and coffee with chilled out beach vibes, this cafe is worth a visit. Situated directly opposite Sydneyā€™s most famous beach itā€™s the perfect place to grab coffee (try the coconut cold brew) and a bite.
_
We tried the following dishes:
_
Corn fritters - avocado, tomato salsa, poached egg and added bacon. The secret ingredient in here are the herbs which gives itā€™s colour and adds a freshness to the fritters. One of the best ones Iā€™ve eaten, highly recommend.
Paridaā€™s benedict - avocado and feta smash, potato rosti, poached eggs, hollandaise, sourdough, grilled halloumi and ham.
Berry smoothie - berries, banana, coconut water and vanilla protein.
Tropical smoothie mango, Banana, milk and honey.
Coconut cold drip - coconut water, cold drip, coconut flakes. This was ah-maz-ing! Iā€™m keen to now experiment more with coffee and coconut.
Golden latte.

Thank you to the team at Parida Bondi for looking after me. Iā€™ll be back again for some pre or post beach coffee and food next time.

Note: I dined as a guest of the venue. All views expressed are my own.

Came with family on a beautiful Bondi day. Good service, understandable time delay with food arrival due to busy nature but was given a heads up for it. The coconut cold drip was an interesting taste!

What a great experience trying out the spring menu at Parida Bondi. Itā€™s definitely something to rave about šŸ„³ā£ The staff were super friendly and had no issues making recommendations!
ā£
I ordered 4 dishes: ā£
ā€¢ House Made Granola šŸ“ā£
ā€¢ Corn Fritters šŸŒ½ā£
ā€¢ Salmon Eggs Benedict šŸŸā£
ā€¢ Belgian Waffles šŸ«ā£
ā£
The highlights for me was definitely the corn fritters! I didnā€™t know what I was expecting especially because itā€™s my first time trying it. The flavour infusion screamed Mexican vibes for me and I absolutely loved it šŸ˜ I would go back just for this! ā£
If youā€™re have a sweet tooth like and can eat desserts anytime of the day, I highly recommend the waffles. Itā€™s crispy yet super soft and dense on the inside, what a dream šŸ˜

Went and had brekky today. Ordered the little parida which was one slice of small toast (unbuttered or no butter as a side ) which came with what they described as whipped feta, chorizo croquettes and potato Rosti, hollandaise and poached egg.
The croquettes crumb or the filling had no flavour except diced chorizo and cheese, then you had what they called was a rosti but more like a Depp fried potato mash ball, eggs were cooked really good however got the tiniest bit of whipped fetta. Everything on the plate was brown and fried and then a splash of colour of hollandaise and 3 micro garnet herbs. The whipped fetta added to already heavily salty dish and the hollandaise hardly broke that up.
Was quite disappointed and wouldnā€™t come back.
Coffee was good, service was also good .... if it wasnā€™t for the coffee bringing it to a 3 star

We had a good brunch today at Parisā€™s Bondi. The service was good and the food was beautiful, they were Avocado smashed and salmon Benny . But the coffee was not really impress me. We had iced mocha and iced latte. My mocha I was expecting some chocolate syrup in it but there was only chocolate powder on top. But anyway, I was happy enough.

you MUST come here! as soon as we entered the service was amazing, and we received our food so quickly, despite how busy they were! I got the wellness bowl and it was absolutely delicious, with quinoa, avo and poached egg. It was amazing. We also tried the roasted mushrooms toast, which was also amazing. They gave such a great menu, definitely come here when in Bondi!

In Short:Ā Parida Bondi brings quality cafe fare right to the beachfront. Super friendly service with an array of juices and coffee complete the cafe experience. If you are burger lover, the Wagyu will deliver, and those with a sweet tooth, the Belgian waffle is a winner!

Few places possess the magnetism that Bondi Beach does. I recall last year when we visited Bondi Hall on a cool, dreary day with a biting sea-breeze there was a still an exciting vibe. Luckily on our visit to Parida Bondi, we were presented with a picture-perfect spring day, with many frolicking in the still icy winter waves. Bondi Beach, up until just a few years ago, was either feast or famine on the food front. Superstar dining institutions like Seanā€™s Panorama and Bondi Icebergs are world renowned for their amazing and evolving menu....

Could this be the best brunch in Bondi? Or in Sydney? Parida Bondi is setting its aims high, and with a beautiful location and cosy but contemporary design, itā€™s a good place to find out. We arrived for a sneaky mid-week brunch (as it sounds very busy on the weekends) and were charmed by it. I have to say that I love the name. Peter and Frida combined their names and the result sounds vaguely Latin or Brazilian and perfect for a beachside cafe. Thereā€™s loads of outdoors seating, but we thought weā€™d hide in a cozy corner.

Actual review: 2.5/5
Ordered the eggs Benedict with mushrooms, sweet potato fries and the baby Parida. Food was average in terms of flavour and service was slow. It took us half an hour before we got our food and the wait staff did not wipe down our table after the customers before us. Overall would not return or recommend.

I came here with my parents for brunch after checking out Sculptures by the sea. I havenā€™t been here before so I read all the reviews of what to order and decided to go for their tahini eggs with falafel, tahini, chickpeas, cucumber, pita zaā€™afar, tomato salsa and poached eggs. Something different to the usual bacon and eggs which was a welcome change and I enjoyed it. Negative being that it was too big so I couldnā€™t finish it! My parents were happy to try mine and share their Benedict which they also enjoyed. Their bacon side order came out nice and crispy, just the way I like it.

Service was friendly and whilst it would be nice to sit outside, it was a crazy windy day so we were nice and sheltered inside the cafe.

Thereā€™s nothing more iconic than going for brunch on Bondi Beach, and if youā€™re in that neck of the woods, be sure to check out Parida on Campbell Parade. Itā€™s a great addition to the Bondi food scene with great views, awesome coffee and healthy, fresh food. You can grab a take away coffee from the front window or take a seat for table service. The staff were super friendly and the whole place had a really laid back, relaxed vibe - no need to queue up and fight for a table even though itā€™s popular here!

Sydneyā€™s summer is fast approaching and what a better way to mark the start of the warmer weather than by heading east, Bondi-bound. Ā If sun-bathing or surfing is not your cup of tea, Ā maybe brunch right across the world famous beach is as good as Sunday gets.Ā Ā And thatā€™s exactly what we did at Parida Bondi.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Parida Bondi aspires to be Sydneyā€™s best outdoor brunch; and with the iconic Bondi Beach as their backdrop, theyā€™re certainly off to a great start. Swedish owner, Frida Eriksson, and her team have occupied one of the coveted, beach-facing, Campbell Parade spots for the last two years. They recently re-opened after a three-week closure for an interior spruce up, just in time for Bondiā€™s endless summer. While the interior with Moroccan blue tiled columns and walls, brown wicker chairs and hanging leafy plants does look inviting, itā€™s hard to pass up their outdoor tables on such a beautiful day; so we opt to sink into their beach-appropriate, rope chairs. Stretched over coated metal frames, the weathered rope actually has some spring, making these outdoor, sand-friendly chairs surprisingly comfortable. For my dining companion, brunch lives or dies on the presence of a well-made Bloody Mary ($16) on their menu, while for me, itā€™s all about well-made coffee. Parida won us over on both counts. His breakfast cocktail is bright and round, with clean, aromatic spicing stemming from...
Love At First Bite
Parida Bondi is a newly renovated cafe by Bondi Beach that serves up great food and coffee with a stunning view of the water. Now that the weather is warmer I find myself spending more time by the beach so decided to check this place out for brunch one weekend. I ordered two drinks to start, the Berry and tropical smoothies. Both were made from fresh ingredients and tasted creamy and refreshing and I liked the protein powder in the berry smoothie, for that extra boost after a good workout.

A rockā€™s throw from Bondi Beach, this beachfront cafĆ© is the real deal, serving up a great all-day breakfast, a chilled out vibe and good coffee. Throw in a couple of lunch dishes (including the grilled haloumi wrap, which was damn delicious), quick and friendly service, and you wonā€™t leave Parida disappointed.

You can eat inside among the hanging plants and colourful cushions, or outside among all the action of Campbell Parade ā€“ both good choices.

As for dishes, the Paridaā€™s Benedict is a Gold Logie winning star, offering a fresh twirl on the olā€™ eggs benedict combo, with avocado and feta smash, potato rostis, poached eggs and hollandaise ā€“ and youā€™d be silly not to add the bacon.

Best brunch in Sydney. Highly recommended!

I have been here a few times now and love their food and coffee. The Parida Benedict is a must try

Wednesday 30/10/2019
I was invited to collaborate.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by Frida, she such a great host, taking her time to explained the menu.
She recommended fir me to try from the best seller items on current cafe menu.
Based on recommendations, I decided to have coconut cold drip for my coffee, and ā€œBaby Paridaā€
Coconut cold drip consists of coconut water, cold drip and coconut flakes.
I recommend this drink, itā€™s perfect for hot day!
Baby Parida was very fulfilling for sure.
Chorizo croquettes, whipped fetta, toast, potato rosties, poached egg and hollandaise sauce and with additional cost you can have all good yumminess of crispy bacon.
Croquettes has a generous filling of chorizo, and poached egg was on point, delicate on outside and runny yolk in the middle, perfect!

Over all Dinning experience was outstanding.

###
Review from 25/03/2018
Coffee... awesome!
Smooth, rich and medium dark roast.
View is breathtaking from this shop, of course is Bondi Beach!
One of the best coffee around area.

I really enjoyed the food and service at Parida Bondi. We ordered a breakfast of the halloumi stack and a chia bowl with lots of fresh fruit. We paired this with a fresh berry smoothie too. Loved the breakfast overall, in particular the chia bowl which had coconut yogurt. The service was friendly, and I also loved the overall menu - it caters to a variety of tastes and dietary requirements too.
Spooning Australia
Ahhh Bondi, that beautiful beach that for some reason became the beach boss of Australia, the one beach the tourists have to go. Beach culture has enveloped Bondi since I was a baby and long before. But the food culture is relatively new in the scheme of things. The food game has grown and grown and now some of my favourite restaurants in Sydney are located in this fantastic area. Parida Bondi is one of these venues, a little industrial earthy cafe by day and wine bar by night ā€“ what isnā€™t to love?........
........Fresh, modern, earthen rustic industrial chilled chic with awesome food, cute staff and wonderful drinks. And it looks over Bondi beach - check out my review, it's worth it for my interior design adjectives alone :).

We were staying close by when we were in Bondi. We always came to Parida to grab something to take to the beach. Tried their burgers and wraps almost every day and couldnt get enough. Very friendly staff too, highly recommended.

Got invited here with friends...Absolutely delicious food and great flavours! We tried a selection of items from the menu. The watermelon and haloumi salad was such a hit, so refreshing and tasty! The veggie board, nachos and chilli fries were all well presented well, and were filled with great, fresh flavours.Ā

In addition, Ā the location is right on point, offering cosy and comfortable seating with great music. We finished off our meal with some delicious coffee's and fresh juices! Had a great experience and looking forward to coming back!

ParidaĀ is located on the esplanade at Bondi Beach. It is in a brand new building near the QT hotel and is sophistication in its set up and styling. The perfect spot for enjoying tapas and wine on a Friday night. Seats overlooking the beach and high tables, set with candles made for a cosy and intimate setting.

Got invited here and I was so happy as I love Bondi!
The food here was delicious.
The fish and chips! The fish was the softest I've had and the chips reminded me of ones my grandma used to make for me as a child.
The lamb burger and sweet potato fries were super tasty and cooked well.
The coffee was also great as was the service.
Located on the main strip, it's a 2 minute walk to the beach.
Definitely one to visit if you haven't already been and would recommend it to family and friends.
As we finished, we noticed that the place was getting more and more busy.
It's only a small place but it gets full quickly so best to get in early and secure yourself a seat!

Invited to come,it's been a long time since I've been to Bondi. This little trendy place faces the beach,a great location for people watching day or night but you better hurry, these seats facing the beach are limited

When I ordered the food I notice servings are generous

Had the:
Chorizo croquettes,a lot of chunky chorizo inside,so if you like chorizo you don't be disappointed

Haloumi and Watermelon,my favourite dish of the night. It's strangely a good combination and the watermelon was sweet with no black seeds on the watermelon,if you want something different this is a must try

Had the Crackling Pork Belly where the presentation is instagram worthy! Tastes nice too and the crackling was cooked well enough that you don't have to break your teeth to eat it. Some places the crackling is like stone but not my this place

The Roasted Duck Breast was generous portion wise and cooked just right

They also gave us these triple cooked hot chips with Truffle oil Mayo, the Truffle taste is really there,I wanted more!

Thanks to Frida for the invite and for being a good host

We came here for Parida Hour where drinks are on special from FRI-SUN 3-7pm!!!

It's always the best when an afternoon drink turns into dinner. Especially when you can stay at the same spot all night long. The best part was that dinner was absolutely delicious! Totally winning!

To start, we had the Polenta Chips with Truffle Mushroom. It was incredible! The polenta chips were crunchy and fluffy, and really taken to another level when married up with the truffle mushroom.

We also had a haloumi and watermelon salad - an absolute match made in heaven.

For mains we had the Crackling Pork Belly and the Roasted Duck Breast.

So tough to choose between the two. They were both cooked to perfection and absolutely hit the spot! The crispy pork crackling was to die for!

All in all it was such an impressive feast & the service was impeccable.

It was pretty busy for a Sunday night in winter - can't wait to spend more time there as it gets warmer!

The northern end of Bondi's Campbell Parade is looking decidedly hip and happening with the luxe QT hotel, a boutique barber complete with espresso bar, and Parida, a swish and cosy weekday brunch spot, transforming into a tapas and wine bar on Friday and weekend evenings.

Sidle up and grab one of the premium seats along the enormous bi-fold windows, opening up to ocean view vistas, or pull up a stool at one of the table tops.

Deciding on a dish is a decidedly difficult affair with so many tempting choices on offer. At the recommendation of the staff, we had the Baby Parida and the Avocado and Haloumi Stack. Both were beautifully presented, healthy, fresh and flavoursome. Coffee is by Gabriel and is nice and robust, and there is the option of soy and almond milk for the non-dairy drinkers.

Thank you Frida for the warm and attentive hospitality. Parida is destined to become a hot spot in Bondi.

Shocking chai latte, didn't have any flavour and tasted like hot milk. I asked them to re-make it for me and the second was just as flavourless. Won't be going back again.

It was one of nice coffee I have drunk in Sydney. I had latte here with wonderful veiw watching beach. Latte had soft froth and was really tasty. All staffs were kind, the interior of the cafe was really comfortable. I want to have brinch next time!

Loved the food. Light, flavorful and healthy !!! Really well priced to for the quality of the ingredients used. A smart mix of high concept tapas.

Best new place in Bondi in my opinion, the staff are friendly and hilarious and the way they have positioned all the seating to look out over the ocean is so much different to the other places in the area,

The waiting staff were delightful, very helpful, polite and attentive to my needs.
I've already tried a few items from menu and throughly enjoyed every bit of it. The ribs is a must try, there is a rich explosion of flavour. Although I'm not a big coffee drinker, I thought it was delicately brewed to my liking. The beautiful view of Bondi beach, the people and atmosphere just makes the experience worth it. Thank you team Parida! See you next time for sure!

Favourite Cafe in Bondi! Great espresso delivered with a taste card and every item on the food menu is worth trying. The location is super convenient, a great people watching spot. I've been in for both breakfast lunch and dinner and I've always had great service and a lovely time. I'll recommend Parida to anyone who want's to enjoy good food in a great environment together with a high quality coffee.

We parked downstairs and so had to go past the relatively new Parida to get home. Perfect opportunity to try the coffee. Skim latte takeaway. Had great caramel notes, and glancing at the dinner menu it looks worth trying for foods too!!!

Popped in for a quick piccolo before breakfast plans elsewhere. Coffee was quite good and hubs enjoyed his soy latte (he is really fussy). Food menu looked decent and will give it a try when next in Bondi.

This place was a very pleasant surprise. The location is just perfect, food was simply delicious without forgetting a very cured and appealing presentation and between the things I've tried I I would highly suggest Parida's breakfast and the breakfast bowl. They also have an excellent coffee and the staff was very friendly and professional. Will definitely be back on a regular basis and recommend it to all my friends!
