Review Bloody Mary's Bondi - Bondi

Ordered one chilly crab, only tiny bit crab, not worth $28 , pretty plain dishes, overpriced. My sister order a steak, the first steak went bad, taste super sour and bad favour, then the manager redo the steak, the second one is better, but still not fresh. My friend came late and ordered some fish and sweet potato chips, all are burn and overcooked, the battered fish is dry and tough. After complaining, they gave us proper fried fish, the picture is the second plate. When paying, they try to rip you off by charging your extra fee from debit card. They say there is extra charge on all credit card and is displayed on the menu, the waitress won’t tell you the extra charge until you figured out by yourself. Never get charged card fee when paying $70 dollars on the bill with debit card in Australia. The manager paid the extra charge back when complained, but the attitude of the waiter and waitress will upset you. Feel upset tummy when arrived home, really doubt about the good review here. Won’t recommend.

The place was too small to accommodate decent size tables, and there were only 2 waitresses on a Sunday morning. The tables weren't clean when we arrived. Everything from table cleaning to bringing drinks and food took an age. Our group of 6 went for brunch and were given a table right next to the unnecessarily loud music, and against the door. Absolutely unacceptable. Bacon servings were generous but the iced coffee had no ice cream: just ice cubes! The food was just acceptable with the exception of the burnt toast (the toast was also burnt for others several times throughout our 2-hour stay). Really it left a lot to be desired. Not a place we will go back to in a hurry.

Best brunch I had so far! Eggs Benny and the Pancakes 👌. Great service and relaxed vibes with some sofas near the beach. Little work required on the Match Latte but overall great place and will be back soon.

Absolute must go. As a native New Yorker it's tough finding a good Reuben sandwich outside the city, let alone the States... this one was bang-on delicious and the Michelada was also one of the best I've ever had. The service was fantastic, staff were very friendly and accommodating and everyone at other tables were definitely enjoying themselves. My wife and I truly loved this place and will absolutely go back and become regulars. Do yourself a favor and go here as soon as you can.

This place is awesome! Amazing drinks, incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely stop by this place on your way to and from the beach.

What a disappointing visit. I had only been to Bloody Mary’s Potts Point at Gazeebo before today, so when my friend suggested BM Bondi, I was all in as every experience in Potts Point was amazing. The service was slow, the waitress couldn’t answer basic questions such as “What is the market fish today?” By the time our food was ready they didn’t hear the bell and I sat watching it get cold for a good 10 minutes before it arrived at my table. When it did arrive, well I was less than impressed. My $24 fish of the day was 3 tiny pieces of cold fish and the chips were cold and wilted. The tartare sauce was good, though I imagine this came pre-made. I won’t be back.

Waited 40 minutes for a bacon and egg roll when I was the only one there (should have been my first clue why it was so empty on a very hot Sunday at 12pm) also had to send my glass of coke back as it was so flat and old. When did it become acceptable to charge $16 for a bacon and egg roll? Go to 3 steps cafe up on bondi road you’ll get a better one for $6.90

Came to have a dinner and some oysters and drinks on Saturday 6th, it was an empty restaurant, we got our drinks pretty quick. However, the waiter never came back to take a food order, in fact he never came back at all. We waited for 25 minutes and no one came to even check the drinks. Too bad.

Bloody Mary's, more like Bloody Terrible! Service was terrible, coffees were terrible and cold, food was cold and eggs barely cooked. Very unpleasant experience.

Got two takeaway coffees and a hot chocolate, Worst coffee ever instant at home taste better, had to throw them both away

Waitress had one job: take my order.... didn’t put it through and left us sat there waiting for an hour... sort ur sh!t out bloody Mary’s I’m proper hangry now �... fortunately lots of other places in Bondi to get Bloody Mary’s �

The service was great, happy and energetic waiters and waitresses, the ebergy of the restaurant was Amazing. I look forward to returning. One love

My boyfriend and I visited Bloody Mary’s after just arriving in Bondi and were super impressed with the food, pricing and friendliness of the staff. The restaurant is right on the beach so has a lovely sea view. Couldn’t recommend this place enough really, the food quality is amazing, customer service was great and the menu offering is perfect. P.s. it really does serve the best Bloody Mary that money can buy!

We used to go there all the time in the past 6months, every Saturday we would brunch with the kids at Bloody Mary’s but in the last 3 weeks the team has changed, there is a new manager and the cook must have changed too. It has become very unfriendly and the manager made a few comments the last 3 times we came such as kids cannot seat on the sofa because they dirty it when they eat so they have to pay for a professional cleaner, the kids should not touch the windows because they need to get then cleaned by a professional cleaner otherwise etc..well don’t open a restaurant if you are not prepared to get it a bit dirty!! Plus my kids not only do neither of those things nor our friends kids who joined us for brunch on this occasion but it is just not a great comment to be made when you’ve just asked three times to move table because the wind is blowing and the manager refuses to close the windows... and when you finally get a table inside you are given all those instructions while your kids have not even yet moved one finger!! They also got my order wrong and made me feel guilty for apparently not being clear from the get go on what I wanted to eat!!! And lastly the food in the past few weeks has been oily and greasy, more than usual .. the burger was full of sauce, the fish super oily, and my spinach marinated in butter... <br/>such a shame as it used to be so kid friendly and warm service and now has become a place where kids are considered nuisance and clients are at fault.

Stopped by this outlet located near Bondi Beach. There was on offer for $1 coffee on EatClub and the price was right!<br/><br/>The lady serving us was lovely and she made the Flat White pretty quickly. It was Illy brand and tasted quite smooth.

Came here for lunch with friends and area was really cute with nice staff. However, food took a super long time to come despite no one else being in there and my banana split (which said came with vanilla icecream on the menu) arrived without icecream. Was seriously unimpressed...

Went in for breakfast with a friend this morning on a horrible rainy day. Owner was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. The make your own breakfast is a great idea and all needs were met

Was pretty quiet when my friends and I went there, and were the only ones eating. I ordered the bruschetta salad and it was probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The service was quite bad and we were sitting for 20mins waiting for the bill though. Good experience all up.

We ate here after doing the Coogee to Bondi walk and were in need of a feed and shelter from the rain. It was early in the morning so was quite quiet inside. We were warmly greeted and our orders taken very quickly. The food was fantastic! The egg white omelette was very generous in size and fillings. The pancakes were fluffy. The coffee was perfection! I had two double shot long blacks because one just wasn’t enough. <br/>The staff are very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back here!
