Review Calabur Cafe & Diner - Bondi

Shu Jian Choo
A gem of a place. Warm service, delicious food with flavors bursting or understated depending on the dish. Priced right and leaves you wanting to return at the next opportunity. Kudos to Kim and her colleagues. (Added photos after visiting a second time during lunch. The first was dinner.)

Calabur cafe - hidden little gem in Bondi Junction. It’s super close to Bondi Junction Westfield and Eastgate shopping centre. Walking by, you would probably not notice it, underground off the Main Street. Definitely make it a destination to visit. It's a vintage, rustic style place, with exposed bricks, pipes, rustic chairs, succulent plants, and feels like some of the cafes we’ve seen in Bangkok. They hold a few events like live music and charity fundraise too. On walking in, the waitress and Waiter were super polite and were warm and friendly. We took a seat at a table for two, and they offered us a larger table if we pleased. Very nice atmosphere! I ordered the granola fruit market which was delicious - greek yoghurt with granola, kiwi fruit, blueberries, kiwi fruit and passion fruit, there was also some honey to put atop the creation. It looked beautiful, a real work of art! We also had the ‘spicy’ Onsen eggs, which actually were not too spicy, served with avocado, heirloom tomatoes, radish, carrot and mushrooms. The ‘magic’ noodle salad of purple steamed butterfly glass noodles that are meant to turn a lighter purple with a touch of lemon, served with carrot, seaweed, cucumber, zucchini, radish and a sesame dressing. You can have this with raw fish, so we opted for the tuna. This is a lovely fresh and healthy dish. The coffees were excellent and a nice smooth brew.

Great service + great food.. Calabur is a must try Asian fusion restaurant in Bondi (really close to the station).. Would highly recommend the sashimi and vermicelli noodle salad.. the only downside is that it's a bit pricey for the portion sizes..

After a couple of hiccups with our order we ended up trying the new menu at Calabria in Bondi Junction. The chicken “burger” was an interesting combination or rice patty, marinated chicken, fried egg and crispy rice paper on the side. Staff pleasant, but found it slightly strange that the reasons for our food coming late was very inconsistent, despite the cafe not being very busy 🤔

Awesome vibe with really friendly staff. The food is also looks really good, but the portion sizes are on the smaller size and a couple of dishes are a bit bland (pulled pork burger wasn't very flavourful). Overall pretty good cafe, hoping to come back and try out more of the menu.
Leika
nice cocktails, alcohol, staff, mood, and of course unique savory menu:) all foods that i tried were beautiful and yummy, bartender made good cocktail which match with next food:)))

Great small and quiet cafe with delicious high quality cafe/Asian food. Definitely recommend this place for a lazy weekend brunch.

Beautiful food, nicely inventive. Very friendly and nice coffee. Staff were a bit thick(stupid) though.

Lovely space down the stairs ( a hidden gem) in the quiet end of Bondi Junction. Beautiful fit out, friendly staff and very good and interesting Asian twist on classic cafe food. I left wanting to come back soon to try other things on the menu (considered going back for dinner, but that felt a little stalker-ish)

What an awesome find this place was! Definitely going to be one of our regular places. It's so rare that everything is amazing for such an affordable price: the food was fresh, full of flavour & so well presented; the service was friendly & attentive; the space was cute & homey. Looking forward to working our way through the entire menu because everything was appealing though definitely not possible in one visit In the words of Molly Meldrum: "Do yourself a favour..." . you won't be disappointed.

Great little fine. My breakfast was delish but would have preferred to have my poached eggs a flat plate. We will be back to have dinner

Thank you for lovely breakfast and the yummiest smoothie that I have ever had! Definitely will come back for lunch/dinner again as I really want to try your famous salmon. Keep up your great work guys! ❤

Had an amazing night for a private function. Max and his team made my Birthday super special. Food and service is outstanding. A complete hidden gem in the heart of Bondi Junction.

I've just had my birthday party here at the Calabur Cafe and Diner. All my guests and I had a great time. Every single dish was 10/10 which is very rare to find. All the cocktails was amazing! It is definitely a hiden gem. You got to come and try it out! Highly recommend it to everyone.

Awesome cafe, tucked away downstairs... once you discover it, you'll be back. Great decor and atmosphere; great coffee; delicious food - made to order (actually spicy when you order spicy!); and best of all, awesome wait staff! :D
Mimi Zouch
Really delicious food, original menu and cool interior. Great for a brunch with friends or even a date. Don't be put off by the strange exterior! Inside is really nice so check it out!

Amazing food and the best service in town! Love this place *****

Delicious, interesting food, & lovely service. It's worth venturing down the stairs, as the owners have done a beautiful job. The salmon and angel hair pasta is my favourite

Great, inventive food and a cracking drinks list plus friendly engaging staff = we will be back!

A very chilled place with many new flavors for your tastebuds. Day or night, have a different feel because the place does turn from a cafe into a bar. And if you are lucky, you may even get to see a magic trick! Ps, try the cocktails!

Portions aren’t big but the plates are well presented.
Service is a bit slow and it can get hectic for a big group as it’s a small cafe.

Flavour wise is good but some plates should be checked on price as they aren’t too big.

Will come back to check other plates.
My favourite was the magic Asian noodle salad with raw tuna.

I had an appointment in Bondi Junction so whipped out my handy Entertainment app to see where I could use a coupon. I love coupons. Calabur Cafe & Diner is discretely hidden justs below street level off on Spring Street. It’s very cute and was completely empty that Saturday morning until we were about to leave.

Extremely poor service and overpriced. Firstly they were too busy to gave us our menu and to take our order. They took a long time to serve the food, my friend and I waited almost an hour for my food to arrive. Another friend had to wait an hour for his coffee to arrive with multiple follow ups, although my coffee didn’t take too long but they served it too hot. I had to wait at least 20 min for it to cool down before I can drink it. I had to ask the waiter about my food but he soon forgot about my query and did not come back. When told them I’ll be canceling my dish and ready to walk out without my meal as the rest of my company has finished their food. They advised my meal will be ready in 5 minutes, but much to my disappointment when my main was finally served the portions is meager (less than entree size), doesn’t lived up to the wait and is far from dish description. In addition to all these, they include other items which we did not order onto our tab. Also at the time their eftpos machine was not working, normally I would not mentioned as it is not relevant to their service, however the overall dinning experience was so terrible. We definitely won’t be coming back.

Out in the boon docks of Bondi Junction, a good five-minute walk from the Westfield, you don’t expect to find a little Asian-fusion treasure.

Calabur’s café breakfast menu is typical Bondi. There’s kale and spinach smoothie bowls, spelt and honey banana bread, and fruit-laden granola. Meanwhile, lunch brings things like chicken skewers, spicy pulled pork burgers and vermicelli noodle salads. But, my favourite is the sophisticated, tapas-style dinner menu.

I love the pork and chive gyoza, the pulled pork sliders, the peri peri chicken tacos – in fact, there’s not a lot I don’t love. Everything’s fresh, delicious and art on a plate.

This is a nice cafe serving Asian fusion brunch dishes. The menu for breakfast/lunch is not as extensive as the one on Zomato. I had the yellow bowl (laksa with egg noodle, chicken and 63degree onset egg) which was really delicious and perfect for a cold winter morning. I would order that one again. The coffee was alright.
Trandinhdinh
No hygiene preparation food , I saw the chef dropped a fruit when preparing , he picked it up and cutting for plating directly without wash. Cross contamination hazard!! I’m so disappointed and I won’t come again.

Atmospheric little cafe with fantastic coffee and creative, delicious food. Service is reasonably attentive and one's food arrives promptly. I ordered Wasabi Benny. While the wasabi flavour was not at all strong the dish was still flavoursome and a visual delight and the ingredients fresh.

FOOD TYPE
Asian fusion

FOOD QUALITY
Four of us dined on a quiet Saturday night in early Feb. We started with a couple of refreshing Asahis, and two bowls of edamame beans ($6 per bowl). The edamame were crunchy and salty, which made them quite morish, and we polished them off quickly. For mains we ordered two chicken tacos ($16 each), a sous vide salmon with caramelised fig and salad ($26), a basil chicken ($20) and a garden salad ($5). The food quality was excellent. It was all fresh and tasty, and clearly only the best quality ingredients are used. My basil chicken was succulent and tender and infused with an aromatic and gentle basil flavour. The chicken was finely cut into thin, easily digestible pieces. The salmon was well cooked and came with a serve of wholesome salad. Only problem though, with all the dishes, was their size. Very small, stingy portions that left us all feeling hungry, unhappy and disappointed afterwards. I don’t understand why these guys can’t serve decent portions. Can’t be that hard, or that expensive. Each main was nothing more than an entree. Which is a pity because, as mentioned, the food itself was of a high standard.

ATMOSPHERE
This is small, but cosy place with maybe about a dozen tables and a few single seats at the bar counter. It’s been tastefully done up in wood and stone, with exposed brickwork, interesting posters and wall decorations, low lighting and potted plants hanging from the ceilings, to give it a splash of colour. It’s a homely and relaxing space, and the vibe is cool and laid back. As they say on their website, it’s modelled on a 1950s New York bar, but who would know? Only problem though, was that, besides ourselves, there were only two other couples on a Sat night, and those only arrived after we’d already been there about an half an hour, so for at least half the evening we were the only diners. Sitting in an almost empty restaurant is not something I enjoy, and especially not on a Sat night, which, one would expect, would be the busiest night of the week. There’s a sushi bar next door, which had a bit of life in it. Perhaps its location, in a basement, down a flight of stairs, explains the small turnout, as it’s not easily visible from street level. We found out about it, through the Entertainment Book, of course.

SERVICE
Service was helpful, efficient and polite. Given the small turnout, we had virtually the whole staff complement - comprising the maitre d and his assistant - to ourselves, which was quite handy. Orders were promptly taken and everything came out quickly and in the correct order. The maitre d was quite an impressive young fellow: Tall and well groomed; he was personable, friendly and businesslike.

COMFORT
Wooden chairs and tables on stone floors wasn’t the most comfortable, and I imagine that, unless they have heaters, this could be a cold venue in winter. But the night we dined, it was a hot summer night, but the inside temp was cool and comfortable. As dishes are small, we were able to fit everything on the table.

MENU
There are separate drinks and food menus, on loose leaf sheets attached to a clipboard. The food menu doesn’t have a huge selection but enough to keep everyone happy. It’s all fairly well laid out out and simple to follow.

TOILETS
You need to grab a key, exit the restaurant, and go around the corner (but it’s not far) and up a short flight of stairs to the toilets. They’re clean and well provisioned, but the stairs are black and look a bit worse for wear. There are separate male and female cubicles, shared with the sushi bar, but enough to ensure no waiting around.

ACOUSTICS
We had no trouble conversing, as it was almost empty, although it could potentially be a noisy venue if it got full, on account of all the wood and stone, with no sound absorbers.

COST
With our 25% Ent Book discount (up to a generous max of $35), we paid $90 for four of us and that included two beers, two cold drinks, two bowls of edamame, four mains and a shared garden salad. It may not seem like a lot, but it wasn’t great value for money as portion sizes were so small.

BOOKING
Judging by our experience on a Sat night, I wouldn’t think that booking for dinners would be necessary. This is also a lunch venue, it may be busier at that time.

PARKING/ACCESS
You’ll find Calabur on Spring Street in Bondi Junction, near the corner of Newland Avenue and not far from the Eastgate and Westfield Shopping Centres. One can find easy street parking around here at night, but we headed for Westfield, where you can enjoy free, unlimited parking after 6.00pm daily.

SUMMARY
The mood is casual and laid back and we all liked the cool vibe and ambience of the place. Service is friendly and efficient, and food quality is first class. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the lack of atmosphere, due to it being fairly empty, and the small serving sizes. I don’t think we’ll be back for a return visit.

MEMO
This is a bonus offer with your Ent Book membership, so bring your card for a 25% discount. You can ignore the“30% off first anniversary” discount promotion, on their website, as it ended on 31 March 2017. Time to update guys!

Lovely little cafe nestled below a flight of stairs in Bondi, very limited seats in the seating area, however we were lucky enough to have been seated straight away on a Saturday morning.

Love the concept of breakfast/brunch with Asian infusion at this cafe- I ordered the salmon pasta with the 60 degree egg, which was delicious! Well flavoured and amazing presentation. Also a must try for yourself or to share for a refreshing finish is the yoghurt with fruits & muesli

Wow! Such a quaint little place with such amazing well presented food. Guitarist on Friday evening set such an awesome vibe and the staff are so friendly. Get in early for happy hour from 5-7!

Very cute restaurant near Bondi junction with an Asian fusion inspiration and more importantly using a "sous vide" cooking technique. They serve meat and fish cooked this way which are so tunder and juicy. You can not understand until you tried it.
I tried the sous vide Atlantic salmon with caramelized figs and it was amazing. The side salad with orange pieces and pomegrenate was just perfect to twist the dish.
The other meal was the Yellow bowl with egg noodles, sous vide chicken and 63C egg. It was so tasty, just perfectly spiced and the meat and eggs were so different from what you can usually taste.
Last thing they are now into the Sydney entertainemnt book so you can treat yourself with a reduction of 25% !!

Hands down for Calabur. They made one of the best egg benedict I’ve ever had (and I had lots!). All of the components they put on plate just work together. When I took my first bite will a little bit of everything on the plate, it was bomb. The pomegranate seeds, beetroot and dhukka added some nice kick to my palette. On my second visit we had the angel hair pasta and some other foods that I forgot and all of them were great. They serve nice coffee too! Max, the manager was very sweet and gave us the color changing lemonade which tasted very refreshing. Can’t wait to go back here!
Love At First Bite
Find us on instagram: loveatfirstbite_aus

Calabur is a hip cafe situated in a basement a stone throw’s away from Bondi Junction. It takes its inspirations from a range of south-east Asian cuisines. We came here for a late lazy Sunday brunch before we planned to head out to Bondi for a stroll and will share that experience. The first dish we ordered was the spaghetti namtok salmon which consisted of angel hair spaghetti with fresh atlantic salmon, shallots and spring onions, tossed in a refreshing Thai style spicy and sour dressing and sprinkled with ground roasted rice. This was a zingy dish. The spicy and sour dressing had a great tang to it – almost too much if you don’t like chilli!

It was a nice surprise. Please give us more restaurants like this. The food was beautifully presented, but the presentation is only part of the attraction, the flavour of the food is the killer. I did not expect a dollop of noodle would be bursting with flavour. Having so, It does not give you the impression that the chef is trying too hard. It was so enjoyable that we decided to have a green bowl for desert even though we were already full. Definitely come again.

We had a really beautiful dinner at Calabur tonight. Small restaurant, but awesome decor and really nice feel.
Food was delicious, staff were incredibly attentive and presentation was excellent.
We had the rice paper rolls, the salmon, the barramundi, Uncle Rays Salad and sticky rice for dessert. Everything was really fresh and full of flavour.
We will be back!

The food was quite nice. But the sourdough for my Spicy Eggs were over toasted, however I really love the smashed avocado. Hot mocha was also pretty nice. Overall, quite a good place to have brekkie with attractive food presentation and cafe environment.

In an effort to write more reviews to support the little businesses I love, I wanted to give these guys a shout out. I live in Bondi Junction and it's pretty slim pickings around here when it comes to good food in a nice space, but this place has it covered. It's cosy, the staff are super friendly and the food is really yummy (and I can be a bit of a tough critic). I've been for lunch and dinner a couple of times now and it's been delish every time. Highly recommend!

We came here with a Groupon voucher and found the food pretty good and service very friendly. As we were dining early, it was pretty empty but all the tables were reserved.

We shared their pork crackling with garlic infused mayo, phyla salmon sashimi, scallops wight spicy apple salsa and the duck with orange sauce. My son had their spaghetti namtok salmon (they made it not spicy).

Drinks are on the pricey end but the food was good and I will come back to try their breakfast menu.

Good food with cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend to those who would like to try something different, little challenge to their tastebuds.

Attentive staff and relaxing environment. Most importantly, very nice fusion food. We ordered Mama's pudding and Chicken taco. Will definitely come back again.

Delicious, light Thai inspired food. This is a great space once you venture down the stairs, & one of the best places to eat in Bondi Junction. It makes a welcome change from cheap Thai. Lovely, welcoming service too. While it's hidden from the street, it's worth hunting out.

My favourite dish is the Nam Toc Salmon, though everything I've had there is delicious.

UPDATE FOR BREAKFAST:
Breakfast is a bit busier. As with dinner, the food is beautiful and delicious. Stand out dish is the muesli and fruit salad ...

If anyone asks me about brunch and/or dinner around Bondi Junction area, I usually tell them to try Calabur - the new kid on the block and the fact that it might not be really visible from the main road doesn't hinder their chances of being a hidden gem!. Inspired by Calabur plant in front of their house, 4 friends decided to open this lovely place - not that big but feel so homey and warm upon entering. Serving Western menu with Asian touch during the day and the other way round with additional bar at night, this place has embraced the "sous vide" cooking style - sort of like poaching the meat in its own juice in the plastic bag to get a precise succulent, noticeable juicier and definitely more tender meat.
MsBrulee
Calabur is situated where Tokyo Jazz Cafe used to be, its below ground level location makes for an interesting window viewing, legs of passersby and faces peering in from above curious to have a look at our dinner. This is most expected seeing as the food is quite varied, vibrant in colours and flavours and the cocktails are standout. The Sakura $17 combines some much-loved flavours of plum wine, elder flower liquer and orange juice with yakult. Cocktail-lovers such as yourselves will understand once you’ve tasted the creamy, sweet and sour concoction.

This place has been on my wishlist for a while. It's a cute and cosy underground restaurant cafe with Vietnamese-inspired flavours. I came for dinner and shared a couple of dishes - delicious!
Ningjaeats
Refresh your palate with a selection of Vietnamese-inspired dishes at the cafe by day and fusion diner by night. Season with various share plates including the tasty roast duck rice paper rolls, crunchy pork crackling with garlic-infused mayo, and my highlight of the night- the sous vide scallops. **ratings: 8.0g edibles | 8.0g value | 8.0g service | 8.0g ambience
Asian Food Ninja
UPDATE: 7 course meal at an affordable price.

Asian fusion ninja!!

A small and intimate cafe/restaurant, located 1 level underground and close to Westfield Bondi. Night time menu is like a bar menu, serves up small dishes like tapas style or a snack menu. Great place to eat but not eat too much so you can taste almost everything. This place serves up cocktails and alcohol too 😏 The oysters looks amazing with different flavours.

Thai chefs/owners ad you can taste alot of Asian flavours in their food.

Until next time ... Keep eating

Located just off the road and 1/2 under the foot path.
This Modern styles cafe presents you with tasty modern cafe cuisine with some hybrid techniques.

After dark, the cafe menu flips to become a bar serving great dinner items (haven't tasted but the innovative menu items will ensure I'm coming back to try these).

Coffee is excellent, running 5 Senses (one of my favourite brands) and doing it right.
2 Hungry Guys
Hiding in a quaint little space on Spring Street in Bondi Junction, Calabur Cafe & Diner brings it's modern trendy vibe to Sydney's dining scene with delicious plates of food that look as beautiful as they taste. We started the meal with these excellent beverages both cool and refreshing. The coffee was a beautiful aromatic Ethiopian blend that was smokey and robust. Enjoyed icy cold with a good splash of milk, this was divine! The Berry Smoothie was a fresh burst of fruity flavour that matched the bright sunny day.
@monalisaaaa
One of my favorite visit this month, I was amazed by the food they served! The team are so creative with not only their dish presentation, the asian infused flavours and also the concept of having a bar by night. Definitely going back for their dinner menu :)

A recently opened cafe in Bondi Junction.. Asian inspired cuisine are served here in Calabur cafe and Diner. They are cafe by the day and serves alcohol by night :) The service here are superb. Everyone are very friendly. The place may be a bit hard to notice at first glance since it is located somewhat like in a "basement" and who would've thought once u go down the stairs, this pretty little cafe serve yummy foods!
Take And Eat
One of the best things to do on a rainy Monday morning is to grab your food buddy, hide underground with a cup of chai latte... and Green Smoothie Bowl.. and Spaghetti Namtok Salmon.. wait what? Well you can do exactly this by making a trip to the new kid on the block- Calabur Cafe and Diner located on Spring St, Bondi Junction.

Calabur Cafe & Diner has only been opened for 2 weeks (opened on the 12 March 2016) but it is already showing up on every Instafoodies Instagram feed. Calabur is hidden under an office building just below the sidewalk of Spring St, it is next to/ below Danny's Cafe. Calabur has very homely and rustic feel to it and has a smart concept to it- Cafe by day with everything a cafe should have from coffee cups hanging from the shelves but at night they flip over the boards/ shelf doors to reveal shelves of bottles of alcohol. At this time, the creative minds behind Calabur are focusing on marketing their cafe concept and slowly they will start growing their bar concept over these few months.

When you taste something this good it's an obligation to share.
We both couldn't go past the Spicy Eggs and green Kale Smoothie so ordered the same thing. Trust us on this! I've always had eggs for weekend brunch but have never experienced this combination of flavours before. The decor was a bit quirky and the table setting was quite cute too. We had a great time all round. Definitely coming back for more.

What we ordered:
+ Spaghetti Namtok Salmon | Angel hair spaghetti with fresh Atlantic salmon, shallots and spring onions, tossed in a refreshing Thai style spicy and sour dressing and sprinkled with ground roasted rice | $20
+ Green Smoothie Bowl | Kale and spinach smoothies bowl topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, dried coconut, chia seeds, passionfruit, banana and mint | $15

The Plus +
+ Super creative flavours - a very interesting and nice touch of Asian Fusion in each dish.
+ The Green Smoothie Bowl was extremely refreshing and light dish - it was also a very large portion- I felt very healthy after eating this :P
+ Quite an extensive menu offering different dishes to please any taste buds.
+ Clever concept- cafe by day and bar by night- they even had cupboards that flipped over to reveal a shelf of coffee cups during the day and a shelf of alcohol during the night.
+ Extremely awesome service- down to earth and polite staff!

The Minus -
- The Spaghetti Namtok Salmon dish was very very small and I don't think the price truly reflected it.
- A little bit too hidden but I'm sure people will find out about them sooner or later.
- Not enough people know about them!!! - go check them out if you haven't already!

This is the first time I tried Sous vide cooking and I love it! Today I had the eggs benedict with 63 degree onsen eggs, and it was amazing! The wasabi hollandaise is so good. My boyfriend had Spicy eggs with their yummy homemade salsa sauce. I had a bite and it's delicious. We never expected...

Discovered this place last weekend from Instagram. OMG I fell in love.

Food is AMAZING. Had the green smoothie bowl. It was gorgeous and full of fresh fruits. If you like acai berry bowls, you'll love this one!

Eggs benedict - Divine. Hint of wasabi, light and creamy sauce. Just cooked onsen eggs. I was totally impressed. These guys know their fusion food.

The place was a bit hard to find cos it's a basement cafe and next to another cafe called Danny's. But it's pretty cool once you're in there.. bricks, plants, copper benches - great style, classic fit out. Nice ambience.

Will be back! My new favourite cafe along with Kepos & Co!
Allan C
I liked the style and layout of the place a lot. Lots of wood and a really nice brass bench at the bar that added a nice contrast to the exposed brick feature wall and wooden tables.
The ambiance was nice and chilled but comfy.

I ordered the Onsen eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce. Wow, it was the first time I ever seen Onsen eggs and it was amazing, the yolk was surrounded by the thinnest layer of egg white but was still translucent... I never knew it would be even more satisfying to poke thru the yolk than normal poached eggs lol
Normally I don't like hollandaise sauce cuz I usually find it a bit heavy for me but this was light and smooth, went well with the smoked salmon.

My wife only had the kale smoothie which was really nice as she didn't feel like eating but she took a lot of my Onsen eggs so next time she will just order her own!
Wombat Loves To Eat
Calabur is located away from the hustle and bustle of Westfield end of Bondi, and is located underground. From the ground level you can peek through the glass roof and watch the actions in the kitchen and bar, and the food & drinks served at other customers’ table.

I went on a Friday night with a couple of girlfriends and were greeted with friendly staff who explained the menu and also the meaning behind Calabur (if you want to know, you just have to go there and ask). The menu was too extensive, but I wanted to try everything. After much discussion, we decided to try sous vide scallops with apple salsa, phla salmon, smoked duck (it was served in a dome shaped glass cover where you can see the smoke) and sous vide salmon. All the dishes had lots of depth in flavour, and what came through was the freshness of the ingredients and the authenticity flavours. Phla salmon was my favourite, because the mixture of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, chill and wasabi worked so well with raw salmon, that I felt I was eating a dish that combined the essence of Thai and Japanese flavours with the freshness of Aussie produce.

We also tried the Sakura cocktail. For anyone who is a fan of yakult, this drink is to die for!

I’ll certainly be back to try the breakfast menu, which serves interesting twist to Eggs Benedict (they use Japanese style onsen eggs instead of poached eggs!)

If you are someone who loves interesting and deep flavours, you can’t go wrong with Calabur.
Sarah
I went to Calabur for dinner and was impressed with the ambience of the place and the friendly vibe you get from walking in. I had the angel hair pasta with salmon which was delicious and different with its thai flavours. What really impressed me was the Sakura cocktail - it was not too sweet, not overwhelmingly strong and super refreshing. If I didn't drive there I would have had a few!
Would love to try the eggs benedict with wasabi hollandaise sauce for brunch next time I visit!
