Review Arthur's Pizza Bar - Bondi

ARTHURS PIZZA IS THE BEST A lot better quality than dominos, the experience there is amazing. Sadly, my phone was out of battery so I didn't have any photos.

Four of us celebrated the end of Covid-19 lockdown by lunching here on a busy Friday afternoon in mid June. It was good to see such a decent turnout, in fact without a booking, we were lucky to get a nice table in the middle of the room. And it turned out to be a satisfying, enjoyable and pleasant dining experience. Service was outstanding: friendly, efficient and helpful. Orders were quickly taken and drinks and food came out promptly and in the correct order. Food was of a high standard. I ordered a medium salmon pizza, excellent value at only $17. It had a delicious, thin crispy base, and was topped with lashings of fresh salmon, capers, onions, tomatoes and sour cream. To complement it, a rocket and parmesan salad ($10). It was a generous size, filled with wholesome and nutritious rocket, and sprinkled with a dose of flavoursome parmesan cheese. My dining companions chose the veal or chicken schnitzels, and they all enjoyed their meals. The ambience was casual, laid back and relaxed, with comfortable chairs, a table large enough to easily fit all the dishes and decent lighting. Upstairs, in the disused part of the restaurant, are clean and well provisioned toilets. Another plus for Arthur’s is its convenient location in the heart of the Bondi Junction mall. We’ll certainly be back.

We always have great food and experience friendly service at Arthur's Pizza. I recommend you try some of the entree pizzas. The Garlic and Cheese pizza and the Pesto and Pinenut pizza are delicious.

Honestly, this was the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was clearly frozen, and the quality was horrible. The caramelised onions were burnt and the slice was oddly really small? (see picture below). We ended up throwing out our two pizzas that we ordered and re-ordered another meal. Stating that it is the "best pizza in australia" is clearly misrepresentation of their product. Do not eat here.

I hope their pizzas are better than their steaks. I had the sirloin off the specials board and my supposed medium/rare steak was medium/well done, tough as boots and the accompanying jus was the consistency of water. The waitress was clueless about the drinks menu and when I requested a cider, she served me a non alcoholic apple cider, then a lager and then tried to tell me they didn't have alcoholic ciders even though they're on the menu! Won't be returning again.

Pizza was very average, the toppings did not taste fresh at all, special the prawns!! To me sounded very commercial and low quality.

Not as good as Arthur's the spot (Randwick). The pizza base you can tell is commercial not made on premises as it is sweet, similar to frozen pizza. Also has holes in the pizza base that is a give away also. The cheese is also a cheaper not as tasty. After going to Arthur's the spot last week I was left expecting more.

Beautiful Pizzeria with big choice. It's very clean, pretty cozy and good prices. Extremely welcoming staff and communicative. Also good vegan options.

Un locale caldo e amichevole, con uno staff simpaticissimo e cibo delizioso... veramente all'italiana! Lo consiglio assolutamente! It's a very good and friendly place, with an amazing staff and so yummy food!!!! I recommend it to everybody, it's a real italian taste!

Greatest eatery in the East. A Bondi institution and a family biz. Always fresh quality food; generous servings at great prices. Great chefs and super friendly staff. Thank you Antonio & family. See you again soon. V

Friday Saturday phone service is dreadful. Lost me,after 10 years of patronage.Bye bye

My friends like their pizza and suggested we come here for dinner when I said pastas are easy with kids. Even though I have been living in Bondi Junction for 3 years, we have never tried this place. <br/><br/>As we were dining early, we had no issues with service even though it was slow at times and they were too busy taking to each other, but it was friendly.<br/><br/>We shared the family Parma and Boscaiola pizza then the kids had pasta from the kids menu which came with juice and ice cream. We also had their Greek salad and Amatriciana pasta which was just average.<br/><br/>What was disappointing was their desserts. Tiramisu was half frozen on the bottom layer. Apple crumble wasn’t anything special and their Nutella pizza was too doughy.<br/><br/>I might just stick with pizza to take away next time.

Yes it's raining today. However when our food didn't show up after the 40 minutes that was promised for delivery, I waited till an hour to give a ring. The girl on the phone said she was so busy she had to call me back. After 15 minutes there was no call, so called back again. They placed me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up the phone. I tried calling back 4 more times and they never picked up. So I then called Eat Now, who also tried and they did not pick up. My order was finally cancelled after waiting 1:48 . I asked to file an official complaint but I am sure that will fall on deaf ears. 2:20 after we ordered the food had shown up, even after the order was cancelled. I politely let the driver know we had cancelled and ordered elsewhere. This place is a joke, and will obviously never order from here again.

We order take away pizza from there and it was just bad dry and tasteless take a look at the picture the pizza base look like it was pre made and defrosted

I would NEVER recommend this place. Visited with a friend the other day to be seated and then forgotten about. The restaurant itself was not busy and despite attempting to grab the waitresses attention, we were never even given water or a menu after a good 10-15 minutes. We stormed out of here quite unhappy...but I wasn't too phased, the food here has never been to flash anyways.

Came here for a quick bite after arriving in Sydney for the Christmas break. Not bad.. Ordered the Napoletana which was quite tasty considering it was not woodfire. Good if you're hungry and looking for a quick meal, nothing fancy.

I've been coming here for over 10years, on & off whenever in BJ @ night. The food is consistently good & well priced. Waiting staff is hit n miss but the owners have been around more often & when that happen the service is OK

Great pizza that I think was made by Arthur!! Fast service and extremely tasty.

Good, tasty food that reflects the amount you're paying. Waiting staff leave a lot to be desired... The girl managed to mess up the order so that the mains came out 2 minutes after the starter and they failed to clear the table for 20 minutes after finishing our meal. Verdict : great food if you can put up with the abundance of incompetent waitresses!
