Review Beach Burrito - Bondi

Tim B
Avoid this place and save yourself the misery. Took 50mins for them to throw together two burrito bowls and a salad. Serving sizes were so small my 6 year old daughter ate the two burrito bowls herself and still asked for fruit afterwards. The salad was a bit larger but a sloppy wet mess. All round terrible experience.

Food was great and service was initially great as well. It did get a little weird when the lady at the counter would not let me use the toilet and told me to use the public toilet across the street. This was after my friend had just come out. I got the impression she wanted us to leave. Maybe it was closing time. The same lady also watched as we picked up plates and cups from the adjacent table that had blown on the footpath. Not the usual experience I have here.

Really not impressed. We waited 50min for some tacos, $6.60 each, and they weren't even hot. They rather felt like they were standing around for a while. The fish wasn't crunchy anymore... however, the staff is friendly and the food was fine.

Best.Fish.Tacos.Ever. Fresh & crunchy w the sweetest salsa…. soooo addictive. This has become our fave beachy Latino go to in Sydney… warm friendly staff, spectac beach views, lovely chill vibe and good prices. Order fresh gauc&chips & a frozen margarita whilst u wait for yr mains if yr super hungry as its freshly prepared.

The most revolting burrito I’ve ever seen. Mostly just filled with cold bland rice, hard undercooked beans, a tiny amount of mushy unseasoned chicken the texture of tinned tuna and bland ‘pico de gallo’ that was just tomato. Cold bland seasonless and horrible. Do yourself a favour a go elsewhere if like your food correctly cooked with any flavour.

Stumbled across this small burrito stall with average expectations and came out with a more than satisfied smile on the face. With pleasant staff and a variety of food to choose from, a waiting service would be nice as the seats go deep in. The crumbed prawn burrito and most of the tacos were best amongst what my friends and I ordered. Prices were decent for its location, would definitely come here again.

Whilst the food was good, management was rude. I went to pay with a $50 note and got told there was no change for my order which was $21. I was fine with that and went to pay with $25, the staff member called the manager out and informed me they have no change. I said well im not paying 25 would you accept $20. The owner then said what goes around comes around. Pretty disappointed as this was my first time with the level of rudness. I run a business myself and keep plenty of coins for change when I operate

It's a good place for a quick bite. We ordered spring chicken burrito, veg burrito, nachos amd veg quesidillas. They had quite good nachos. I would highly recommend to eat burritos with some sauce or it might taste bland.
