No fuss kind of place - love the salt and pepper tofu, flat rice chilli noodles, the steamed noodles with stir fried vegetable topping and eggplant dumplings !
Food is great, no need to go all the way to China Town when the dumplings here are this good.
The wait time can be slow, cos the food is made fresh, which is a win in my eyes. The view and customer service are on point.
One of my favourite handmade noodle places! Delicious food and generous portions! A decent amount of seating inside, with views of the iconic Bondi Beach. Do they great dumplings too! Don't come here for a romantic date or a dinner with a big group. More suited for couples/ small groups for a quick casual feed.
Really yunmy and so so convenient when its right by the beach - perfect to grab something before or after the beach :). You feel the love and warmth from it.
Was so hungry started eating before I took a picture. Serving is definitely larger than pictured.
Ordered dumplings in clear soup and pan fried dumplings. Both were done well. The meat is well marinated with chives and the skin of the dumpling is the right thickness (not too thick). When you bite into the dumpling, the meat is juicy.
Definitely will come back again.
My favourite Asian food in bondi! Never fails to satisfy! I take all my friends here and they love it too! Great food and service with a smile!
Stir fry dry noodles with chilli sauce - wow! I had the veg version with bok choy. So good!! Very crowded place and very loud but my food was delicious and they had big portion sizes.
BEEEEEF NOOOODLE SOUPPPPPP! Great Asian flavours and dishes for the area at a decent price. LOVE handmade noodles and this place is fab to kill the craving. DUMPLINGS ON POINT. Tight seating but who cares... just smash more dumplings and forget it.
I absolutely love this place! I had the steamed pork chives and prawn dumplings. The food is great and you can watch the chef hand make your dumplings. Very affordable and very good quality!
Wanted to have a quick bite late afternoon on Saturday. Ordered the vegan eggplant dumplings. It took quite a long time before it was ready. The dumplings were good though. The restaurant doesn't look very nice, but it was fairly busy, also quite a few takeaways.
Amongst all the fancy, overpriced beach front bars and restaurants, this petit Chinese dumpling and noodle shop stands strong. The handmade noodles and dumplings are delicious.
When you think of Bondi Beach, the picture in your mind’s eye might be of the white sand, crashing surf, suntanned bodies, buff lifesavers and fish and chips. In fact, chowing down on piping hot chips and crispy fish fillets goes hand in hand with sand between your toes down here. Yet we found ourselves slurping away at Handmade Noodle & Dumpling Kitchen in Bondi.
Lunch on Christmas day, the food was awesome, light and handmade. With an open kitchen this place reminds me a real asian restaurant. The portion are generous for the price and really prompt service
First impressions weren't that great as it is a very cluttered restaurant but the food was really good, the handmade noodles in particular. Perfect texture and taste, I highly recommend the Northern Chinese Style Noodles. I also ordered the Egg & Chive pancakes which tasted crispy and flavoursome and also pan fried dumplings, which were good, but nothing extraordinary. Service was quite good and food arrived within 10 minutes of placing order. It is a good spot for quickly eating and then crossing over to Bondi Beach. Would return again.
