We dropped into the Corner house while we were in the area. The restaurant is intimately set with a great cocktail menu and a decent wine selection. We grabbed a starter and two mains to share. Went for dinner last night. The staff had welcoming smiles and got us to our table promptly. The server approached 3 or 4 times to ask what we would like to order (maybe one too many but that's far better than one approach 30 minutes after we've arrived).

All of it was amazing. Great menu selection and that pretty much all can be made gluten free. The staff were warm and welcoming, great ambience, cocktails and wine selection. Will absolutely be back with friends and family.

Had dinner downstairs which was very good. We enjoined the meal and I left a tip to our waiter. Then went upstairs to have a few drinks. The bartender filled up shots measuring cup once out of three times I was buying drinks. It’s very simple. Either the cup is full or it’s not. Pretty cheap move. S
I recently had my 30th birthday at The Corner House. It was very affordable. The function room felt so private I didn't feel like the staff were ever breathing down our throats. They were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Double booked the venue for my friends 30th and pushed out 40 person group into their small side room even though we had booked it 3 weeks prior.
Was very cramped and loud which took away from what was going to be a good night.
Food was good, drinks were decent. Just poor event management.
