Average to no service. Very average food. Prawn linguine had a good amount of prawns and was ok tasting. Homemade gnocchi servings were small 10 pieces max and 4 cheese sauce was inedible! Garlic bread also very average. Wine not great for an Italian place! All round a poor experience and wouldn’t eat there again!

I am from the United States of America, in the Northeast part, and I think the food was great .Service was awesome and Spaghetti was amazing. I do not get all bad reviews... In America we wait for good service and you guys shouldn't be gripping about that. This place was awesome and the pasta dishes were the best! They made some changes and it was for the better. Definetly try this place!! You will enjoy it coming from someone who lives in Italy 2.0 (Northeast USA)

Had dinner in the restaurant! The chicken creamy pasta (sry i cant remember the italian name) was very delicious! Had also ordered gnocci (which was abit saltish for me) and a kid-sized pizza (that is as big as a personal pan, very generous) last but not least, great service & patience staffs!

I was looking forward to a good Italian dinner but was only dissapointed with an overpriced dinner. We ordered soft drinks which were flat, asked for another and they were no better. The dinner tasted like they were leftovers, not fresh at all. Some staff were rude and not professional at all... I'm not usually one to complain but this time it's appropriate.

Do not go there, the main and older waiter is not super nice, he couldn't understand my request and I ended up with exactly what I did not want. The "homemade" pasta are absolutely not homemade, the seafood is not fresh and very bad quality, it wasn't tasteful and the texture was bad. Plus it's quiet expensive, so avoid this place.

I love my pizza. Pretty much my mission to try every pizza place in Sydney. This isn't one I would rave home about. Pizza was standard, good bases, not much topping but quite small. The service is what lost stars for me.. They were very in your face but then when you wanted something it took ages to get it. Apparently they have the best Lasagne in the world (although Italians would fall off their chair if they saw said lasagne served with chips and salad).

Quality of food was good, yet quantity of food is small for the price you pay. A breakfast gets you bite sized pieces of toast with one piece of bacon for $14. My opinion not worth the money.

Came by yesterday and it was quite busy, the tables outside were mostly occupied - there was a festival at Bondi Beach going on. We were seated inside. The interior looked like the small restaurants in Italy. Because it was so packed, we ended up waiting for an hour for our two spag bols. The taste was average, there was nothing particularly outstanding or special about the dish. The portion size was probably on the smaller side, but I guess for the price, probably reasonable. I'm not sure how busy it is usually when there isn't a festival going on, but yesterday, they were obviously understaffed, the wait staff looked stressed, the booths were not clean, the table utensils/napkins were not refilled. I would go somewhere else next time...
A Guide For Your Appetite
I took my Fiancé here for a birthday dinner. My fiancé loves the old rustic look with the relaxed atmosphere environment.

As you walk in, the restaurant is converted to look like you have walked in into a family owned restaurant in Italy. Even the owners greet you in Italian, but don't worry, they do speak very clear English but I guess it is all part of the experience.

The service.... well if you know Italian (I am not Italian) they are always friendly. We had excellent service from when we walked in. The waiter straight away offered us water and drinks and were not very pushy. The waiters just made you feel like you are part of their family which made the atmosphere even the more better. I rate their service as A+++

The food was absolutely delicious. I am very picky with my pasta and all my Italian dishes however did this restaurant tick all the boxes! WOW. The flavours were all combined so they all compliment each other. I cannot fault this place even if I tried really hard, the food was absolutely delicious. Even the bruschetta was delicious and this is a simple meal.

Value - surprisingly affordable. I saw the menu online and though yea right... no way. But when I got my bill.... I was surprised. I felt terrible and had to tip $20 because the bill was so low. I do recommend the restaurant keep the prices this low because I am sure their patrons appreciate this.

Atmosphere - well if you want a example of Italy before going there, then this is the place to visit. Everyone was happy and smiling, the service was excellent, the waiters though were all busy - they still wanted to help you and were always smiling. From the chairs to the lights on the ceiling, this is a excellent restaurant.

I strongly strongly recommend this restaurant to all diners. Whether it is a catch up with friends for dinner and wine, a family dinner or a romantic casual meal - this is a definite restaurant to dine in.

Located in a perfect area with a nice view of Bondi Beach. My family and I ordered a whole bunch of stuff and decided to share. We started with a garlic pizza and a supreme pizza, a little on the smaller side considering we paid around $20 each, but they were tasty. We also ordered calamari fritti which was around $20, and there was about 6 rings on the plate, all over cooked and dried out which we had to send back. Finally we also ordered the carbonara which was great, however the chicken boscaiola lacked flavour.
All in all a decent place, but can’t really justify spending my money there again due to the fact that it’s so pricey and the portion sizes are so small.

Is ok, location is quite nice, it’s a decent view of Bondi and the sea. The food was ok, cappuccino was not good, super strong, friend struggled to drink it. Pizza was so so, it’s an ordinary/ok pizza. Highlight was was the Bosciola... sauce & pasta were excellent

It was the Tomato Festival so it only seemed appropriate to avail ourselves of the penne pasta with tomato sugo that Il Puntino was dishing up out of the massive vat at their stall.

Service - 3/5
Value for Money - 2/5
Ambience -2/5
Average food with not so good taste. Highly expensive with no reason. Just because you are situated at Bondi doesn't mean that you can charge anything you want to.

I came to this place back in 2011 and it was thriving and the food was amazing so after returning to Bondi for the first time since then thought we'd give it a try again.
The place is so run down now it looks so unappealing buttt the waiter that drew us in had the brightest outgoing personality so that's why we chose to stay.
Our garlic bread lacked flavour and the bread was hitting the stale side but the osso bucco was so nice! The sauce was perfect! But as I can't stand the texture and slimy feel of fat I barely ate any of the meat (which was so soft it fell apart) and the mash potatoes were inconsistent and chunky and sometimes crunchy.
But yeah the sauce made the dish. Mash wasn't bad enough for me to not love the flavour in this.

Oyster is a plain dish. I tried the pizza Maxicana twice. Delicious! Dining out on a sunny day will give you a good view of Bondi Beach! A good choice for casual dining...

We were just walking by when we found this place. Staff was a little pushy as you would get back at Lygon Street in Melbourne. Calamari was good and tender. Pizza was pretty good as well. But way overpriced. Waiter was friendly but a little bit vague when it came to answers about the dishes.

What an insult to Italian food

We paid $107 for a totally so so food. We still think the owner see we r tourist and try to rip us off, $58 for an ordinary seafood platter is just ridiculous

Dreadful. The food served here was an absolute joke. Pizza that tasted like toasted ham and cheese was definitely not what I was expecting. To top it all off, it was burnt. What a load of garbage. Would not recommend to even the poorest of people.

Awful Waiter/ Owner?. Service here was great up until it came to the bill, it was a quiet Wednesday night and myself and two mates were just looking to get a quick feed before heading out. We agreed to come here as the italian guy out the front offered 15$ pizzas and a free garlic bread. We ordered our food and he brought out a cheesey gralic bread which was all fine. We then went up to pay the bill and he had charged us $11 dollars for the garlic bread because it was the cheesy garlic bread instead of the normal one.. which we didn't even ask for. Turned into an argument and we ended up saying we would give him 5 dollars for the garlic bread (which we should not of had to pay for) and left. Rude service don't offer something if your going to try and manipulate customers.

Watched the waiter sneakily add lemonade to my glass of moscato!!! What the heck. Food average!

The service is bad, no water provided, I ordered drinks wanted some extra tap water, they gave me 2 bottles of waters and charged to the bill, other tables can have the tap water! They told me they made a mistake by offering them tap water! I order one serve of garlic bread, they sent me 2 and charge extra straight to my bill, they said we assume one serve was not enough for you! Overall it was the worst experience I've ever had! I will never go back and not recommend to other.

There are two items on this menu I just can't move beyond: rocket salad with cured beef and fennel and the burrata & spicy pork paste pizza (seriously its amazing!). Everything else I've had has been really tasty, from scallopini to pasta.. But those top two dishes take the cake.

Not recommended. Overpriced house wine ($6 bottle for $30), "supreme" pizza had 4 ingredients, bascaola sauce tasted like it was based on watered down, evaporated milk. Manager did partially make-good with a $10 discount.
