Decent! The food was yummy. Will be back. We ordered Mongolian beef, honey chicken, special fried rice and the chicken and corn soup. Everything was fresh, not too salty or fatty. Thanks

Had friends in town, so decided to order takeaway from Bambusia for something different. Went to their website, made some notes from the online menu and called to place an order. The website indicated the cost was just under $70, but we were charged just over $110. When we enquired why this was the case, the old grumpy Chinese man pretended he didn't know what we were talking about, then said the website hadn't been updated in twenty years. He failed to see this was an issue and on pressing him for a refund he became very agitated and belligerent. But no refund. When he gave us our takeaway, there was so much pepper on the salt and pepper squid it was inedible, and the tiger prawns were covered in chilli sauce...not sure what he did to the friend rice, but it shouldn't have tasted like curry. We have photos for proof... Anyway, we reported it to Service NSW, and they have taken it up with Bambusia. Best to avoid this place...certainly won't ever go back. Horrible experience.

We ordered duck pancakes 2 courses (chow mein 2nd course) and it’s some of the best duck we’ve have. Second time we’ve ordered form the Bondi beach restaurant for home delivery and it’s been fantastic

Fried rice was under cooked so crunchy and the tub of Mongolian Beef was half empty when delivered.

I got takeaway and the food was absolutely delicious and generous sized dishes. Definitely recommend.

We have been enjoying Bambusia Bondi Beach for many years and the food is still as good as always. We love the King Prawn laksa and many other favourites! Thank you Justin for your great service and kids always love the fortune cookies!!

There are very mixed reports about the food here but the order we received last night was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, hot and one of the best Chinese Meals I have ever had. We ordered prawn cutlets, beef and black bean sauce, sweet and sour pork and fried rice. Before Covid this was always our go to local chinese restaurant and there was only one time a few years ago that the food was not up to scratch. As this was only our 2nd home delivery since Covid I was a bit worried the food may have slipped, but it was fresh and delicious.
