Review Savige's Seafood - Bongaree

Loved the fresh seafood. So glad we tried the bbq platter as our first choice. Crumbed fish and chips were also good according to our friends.

Wow, the food here is still excellent. We came here on a bust sunday night. It took over 3 minutes for our food to be prepared and the pace was extremely busy. And it was busy for a reason. The fish is incredibly fresh and tasty, the chips are cooked in clean oil and are tasty. The lemon is a good chunk and the sauces are fresh and tasty. We ordered several items on the menu and honestly, it done two meals each. Recommend the calamari! Will definitely comes here again.

Great seafood. Very friendly & hospitable staff. Love the chicken salt. Able to dine there. Very fresh seafood. Off their trawlers every morning. The only place I know that have soft shelled crabs. Yum! My favourite. Plenty of parking & tucked away from the main road which is good. Less exhaust pollution landing on my food. Also have ice cream & drinks section. Family & dog/pet friendly place. Keep up the good work. Staff very hard working.

I love this fresh fish n chips shop. Great location, nice selection of fish n seafood cooked on demand from fresh viewing windows. Battered fish is crispy or they cook it in crumb unless you ask for battered. Yum, yum. Fish comes with a wedge of lemon.

Wanting some fresh sea food before my return to Canada. This platter for 2 was amazing. The grilled squid and prawn scallops skewers exquisite for such a simple restaurant. Best we’ve had in a very long time. Loved the Bay Bugs too. The fish and chips were huge portions. All so Fresh! Thank you.

Beautiful food. Clean and hygienic outdoor setting. Also young lady making coffees at 12pm Mon 25/7/22 went above and beyond to provide the drinks. Thankyou .. it made our day even brighter! :)

Fish & prawns were good, fries have little flavour and no crisp. We had takeaway and didn’t get sauces which I usually take as a given. All together very oily food. Ordering as a menu gets you a drink but only 4 options (the worst ones) are included
