Review Flavours Cafe - Boonah

Such a beautiful little cafe with classically delicious treats!! The team prolonged closing the kitchen for us for a bit so we could grab some of their delicious chips - thank you for your hospitable and friendly service!! Definitely my go to cafe when I’m in the Boonah area!!

Was in town for the Clydesdale Spectacular. Stopped for brekkie on Sunday morning and was delighted! Great vibe, warm fire, great range on the menu, service with a smile (and joke). Both of our meals were great: quick, generous and delicious - if only I could get back more often. Thx Flavours team

Delicious food and great service. Highly recommend the famous house-made beef pie with mushy peas and gravy! Friendly staff to my very reactive Cavoodle! Will be back again when passing thru Boonah.

Great atmospher and kind staff. This time of year it's perfect for a brecky visit as the fireplace is hot and the atmosphere with all the bike riders and tourists including locals make it very homely. They even offer local smoked bacon and a pretty good variety of food. And the coffee aint bad too. Not sure of the bean but it wasnt too bitter but nice. And for 2 medium coffees snd 2 eggs Benedicts for around $50, I will visit again.

What a great Cafe!! I had the best tasting Omelette, I have ever eaten! The service was great, food great and a nice place to relax with friends! We rode from the Gold Coast to experience the food at this cafe, recommended by our riding buddies! Didn't disappoint, we will definitely be going back!

Great drive out to the cafe and even better food. No better place to stop for a meal and cold drink! A go to cafe if you’re ever out in Boonah, great service and food.

looking forward to breakfast but was dissapointed . lovely ladies but as far as the meal well a lot to be desired I;m afraid. egg roll with bacon . so was expecting a bread roll . but instead got a rolled up egg like a pancake but small about 4 small pieces of bacom with a handful of greenery on a tea plate, no toast nothing $20 i could have got a better breakfast at Mcdonalds

A delightful little cafe with a cabinet full of homemade treats and delicious menu choices at excellent prices. The atmosphere is lovely and there are three areas to enjoy the food - an eclectic indoor space, a shady verandah or an alfresco area in the front grounds. Always our go-to choice on a country drive to this pretty town.

Great place for breakfast after riding from the Gold Coast... the owner is a really nice bloke and the staff great.. good food and biker friendly

Very disappointed for a week day. Service was good, the chef skills need refining. Baked beans like bullets, eggs like rubber and tasted of plastic (suspect teflon sheet cooking method), the Toast like concrete. Please can I have my spinach cooked with my breakfast. Lovely building and decor, but food has to be great to come back.

My partner and I stopped in on our way home to the Sunshine Coast for morning tea. As fussy coffee drinkers we found the coffee very nice. We had a savoury muffin it was tasty but microwaved too long. The vanilla slice was one of the best I've tasted. The service was quick and the staff pleasant. Great outlook and nice energy. A plug also for the fruit &veg store across the road. A mix of fresh, local and organic fruit and vegetables. What a delicious array of produce. I wish we had a shop up on the coast. The owner has such passion and enthusiasm re their offerings.

60+ Bikes (80 people) stopped for morning tea. All in and out in 45 mins. Gave them notice we were coming so they put on extra staff to handle it. Great Service Great People. Maybe organise a lunch there in the not too distant future.

a nice cafe serving a range of foods. it gets busy with groups of bikies stopping here. we came here for breakfast. you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. we ordered breakfast burritos and coffee which were both good.

Been there several times. Wonderful old building wuth a lot of history. Great coffee, food and entertaining conversation with Graham (owner). Highly recommended. Council needs to get their finger out and finish street scaping outside, which will look really good.
Jan Barraclough
Beautiful setting but really standard fast food. First time in Boonah, won't rush back for another meal at Flavours.

Another great visit for coffee and lunch and getting warm near the wood fire. Not our first visit, but it never disappoints, and the finished street-scaping has improved the ambience.

Great customer service, food is always good and consistent with quite a few gluten free options.

Excellent coffee and tasty breakfast menu. Home made baked beans were delicious and use of local produce. Yummy 😋

We drove to Boonah on Saturday and had lunch, my daughter and I had sweet potato chips which were cooked to perfection and we had sour cream and sweet chilli sauce accompanying them, the sour cream was perfect and thick and the sweet chilli sauce was beautiful too! My decaf Mocha was also perfect and delicious!! The staff were very friendly. we also really liked the lounge type chairs we sat on to eat, it was a very comfy and my grandson loved playing with the toys provided. We look forward to going back another day

Been out here several times already and will keep coming back. Great service, awesome food and Graham is so lovely. If only the council would stop mucking around and get the footpath finished. Really not impressed council, sort it out!

Great nostalgic 100 yr old place for breakfast. Sitting in or outside makes for a relaxing venue. Delicious food with polite, quick table service even with an almost full house. Pooch friendly. Will do again.

A lovely cafe/restaurant located in Boonah. The food is great and there is a large variety of choices on the menu. The service is friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Great value. The eggs benny was great. The service is even better. Plenty of motorbikes around to check out. Quiet place and yet lively! Will have to become my regular!

Cute little place in the town of Boonah, just across the road from a charming little fruit shop. On my iced coffee journey I thought I would tick another place off. The iced coffee here was ok, I should have asked for no cream or ice cream but alas my mind was on other things so when it was served it was packed full of sugary goodness. A place that asks is always my preference, who know what crazy allergies for dietary requirements I could have, there are just so many now days. Anyway, my friends had the gluten free brown and florentine and were singing their praises. It was one of those nice little cafes you find on the long road. Stop by if you're in the neighbourhood!

Have always visited this cafe past & present. Sunday was our latest visit & we found it to not have changed from visits years ago. We had to stop for a coffee of course on our way to hike Mt Barney. There was the usual bikie brigades there, it seems to be a popular stop off point on the main drag through town. The Monte coffee was good although I did order an extra shot. My friends commented theirs was a bit on the weak side. Service is always spot on & exceptionally friendly

What do you do on a country drive apart from looking at the scenery? Find a nice place for lunch of course.
I had the Ploughman's Platter which I think was a bargain. The salmon was plentiful, the potato wedges were crispy, the house-made relish and chutney were both zingy, and there was a nice twist with camembert. One thing I missed was the blue cheese which is on the menu but sadly not on my plate. And one teensy disappointment was the pickled onion, which I assume is house made also. It was just a bit too acidic, and would have benefited from a wee bit of sugar.
Mr P. had a beef burger, which has a house-made beef pattie and onion jam. He has been complaining lately that burgers are not coming with relishes or sauces and are therefore rather dry. Not sure why this is happening everywhere, so he was happy to see onion jam on his burger. Though he did say it could have benefited from an additional relish or sauce. This was the best beef pattie ever, says Mr P.

Disappointing. I visited Flavours with four others for breakfast. I can not give any good comments on the food or coffee. We had to wait for our breakfast and when it arrived it was so disappointing. The eggs Benedict with bacon were the worst I have experienced. 3 off us had this and all 3 meals were very poor. Eggs over cooked, the hollandaise source was really thick and dry and the bacon uncooked.

My wife had pancakes and this is the first time I have ever been able to break pancakes. Sections of the pancakes were rock hard and could be snapped.

My daughter had an omelette and it was close to being able to be used to resole a shoe.

Not a pleasant experience. However, the staff were very friendly.

Super friendly, great service when most would just dismiss you. We arrived just after kitchen closed, but they made us sandwiches anyway. Overall desire to serve was far superior to most places.

Thai Night. Thai night was a hit in my book! Food was amazing, portions for price you pay - out if this world and atmosphere with live music - fantastic.

This place has taken a nose dive.
A once favourite of mine, the menu is now seriously overpriced for the average love free food that comes out of the kitchen.
I had the eggs bendict this morning at $20 and it came out looking like it had been dropped on the way and re scooped back onto the plate and drowning in a sea of commercially produced sauce.
I know that this isn't a fine dining establishment but either give me food that the cook actually has some pride in or don't charge me as if he does.

When the menu says "monster chicken burger", you best believe it.. As "out-of-towners" we found this cafe to be a very welcome respite from the long drive, having already been discouraged from the other options in the area due to their external appearance ("don't judge a book by its cover" is hard to apply from a moving car) or the simple practicality of most places already being closed (Flavours closes fairly late most days, and we were there at around 6pm on a Saturday).

Having consumed one of the monster chicken burgers (which, I might add, comes complete with a steak knife in the middle to hold it together), I can attest to its generous size. Aside from being fun to gawk at prior to eating, it was also tasty and the salad fillings were fresh. The drinks were well-priced, and the waiter was cool too.

When we're next out this way, this place will be at the top of our list for a meal.

I'm very picky when it comes to milkshakes. I'm a bit of a milkshake critic so believe me when I say this.... FLAVOURS CAFE HAS THE BEST MILKSHAKES! I've tried a few milkshakes since Ive been in Australia from a host of different places and none have came up to par until now.
