Pretty solid food here. A pretty good uber option

We came here for a quick meal one weekend and ordered pad see ew, a spicy basil stir fry and a seafood salad. The thai dumplings, pad see ew and basil stir fry came out after a short wait, but we had nearly finished our meals and the salad had still not arrived. When we enquired about it, it came out a few minutes later (I think the chef may have forgotten). But to our surprise, the salad came out with deep fried seafood instead of lightly fried as described on the menu. When we pointed this out, the staff were so apologetic that we felt terrible about it. It was clearly a misunderstanding with the wording of the menu but I have never experienced such good customer service, where they asked if I wanted the meal exchanged or just taken off the bill and even gave us a 10% discount voucher for the inconvenience.
The dishes that we did get to try were absolutely delicious. The thai dumplings were light and flavourful, the pad see ew had just the right smokey flavour and the stir fry, though very spicy, was incredibly tasty.
It's rare for a restaurant to handle a tricky situation like this so well but they have guaranteed that we will be back again in the future.
Food is authentic taste, the best i ve ever had, specially, green curry and the fish phuket were so delicious , with great service from friendly staff, would recommended one of the best Thai restaurants
we eat here on Saturday night it was packed not one empty table staff were really friendly great menu to chose from. Food was really tasty will be going back for sure and it is byo all boxes ticked
Absolutely WONDERFUL best thai restaurant in Boronia! best place to come for a dine in!! Love the Curries just marvellous taste definitely would suggest to come in with friends and family to have great food
I go to Boronia Thai nearly every week and have done since pretty much since it opened, the food is fantastic, without a doubt the best Thai food I have tasted, the coconut rice is the best, the staff have always been so very friendly and helpful, they always find a table even when fully booked, would highly recommend this restaurant

I would have given highest rating if the menu was the same as on Zomato, I would say $50 approx for 2 people with the updated menu !!
My go to Thai take away. Pad Thai is really nice and satay chicken skewers are very tasty. Quite a nice layout inside and big from what it seems on the outside.
The best Thai food i had in victoria!!!! pad thai was sensational, also the tom yum was absolutely marvelous, definately coming here when i want Thai food!!!!
Best in area. Thai is our favourite food. This place has become our favourite local thai place. We have tried heaps of thai at all levels in melbourne, and for a small local thai, this place rocks!

Great food. I've had Thai food all over Melbourne and this is one of the best Thai restaurants in town. I love the stir fries, especially the Pad Ped - they have aromatic's that look like peppercorns but aren't edible that I don't recognise and I am a foody - so I love this fact.
Good consistent Thai food and nice ambiance to eat in.
I've visited this place just a few times so far..honestly! But I feel the food here tastes good and rich more than I expected. One of my friends recommended me to try the food and it was fantastic! Not that hot but warm and cozy place. On top of that I like the rich flavour. I'm gonna be there again with girls.
Four mates tried boronia spicy seafood, panang curry with chicken, beef sauce dang and special fried rice. Very delicious.. Die for panang curry. Keep going back!!
Let's not kid our selves..there are Thai restaurants everywhere and all very similar. This Thai restaurant is visually cosy.... if your looking for the most consistent in the area with the best pad Thai, look no further. The staff are friendly and prices are good. Enjoy!
Amazing food with consistency. We have to go to this restaurant at least once a month specially when we crave for spicy food. They put fresh red chilies rather than some do with just dried ones. Must try is the stif fry lamb with lemon grass served in hot sizzling plate, tom yam is exceptional, and panang curry! very authentic flavour.
Fantastic Thai!. This is the best tasting Thai my partner & I have had in a long time. The quality and taste of the food is outstanding. The jungle curry & stir fried chilli prawns are delicious and worth giving a try if you like spicy Thai food. We will be back again.

Always perfect!!!! Have been to so many thiai restaurants this one is by far the best ! So happy I found it now keep going back. Staff friendly food is full of flavor with big menu to choose from. the stir fries have big variety of veggies pad me is my fav as well as te massamum curry. Everything else I've tried have also enjoyed.
Best Thai Boronia Thai.. Boronia Thai is one of my favourite Thai restaurants. They have an extensive menu and everything is incredibly well priced and delicious. My partner and I both dine in and and take out often and everything is delicious, even as left overs the next day! I often order the Thai Green curry and it is creamy, spicey and delicious and my partner often has the Panang Curry which is more mild and sweet to suit his taste. Absolutely delicious and under $10 a curry! It's also great because you can choose whether you want chicken, beef or a vegetarian curry. We often also get Prawn crackers which comes with a delicious and tasty peanut dipping sauce, so yummy. Other recommendations are the Massaman curry or Pad Thai, a noodle dish for those not curry inclined.
Every time we dine in the staff are amazing, polite and very attentive and the restaurant decor is lovely and is lovely for a dinner date or dinner with family and friends.
Best restaurant. This restaurant has the best dishes. It is superbly made, excellent presentation, well priced, good size proportions and excellent service by the waiteresses. If you love beautiful decor and fine atmosphere, do yourself a favour and try this place. You will not be disappointed.
Beautiful food and glamorous presentation, love the potato prawns entree. Curry prawns with young coconut gives a generous portion of prawns, at least 10 big tiger prawns. Other two dishes are Chicken on birds nest and Pad Thai. Both are so yummy...

Had dinner here on a Friday at 7pm and the place was packed. About 30 minutes wait for the food. We had beef salad, prawn pad Thai and Thai milk tea. The food is tasty and definitely spicy and full of flavours! Maybe a little on the salty side for me. The milk tea was a bit fancier than usual but would have liked it less chocolaty and more authentic Thai flavour! Seating is a big plus with big comfy bench seat but the lighting at our table is a bit too dull and annoying as they got a colour changing light. Attentive staff all wearing proper masks and uniforms and following gov Covid protocols, very cozy and comfortable atmosphere! Could give 4.5 star if I can! Would recommend!!
