Very lovely little restaurant with delicious Korean food! Staff are very nice and helpful. Food is fresh and taste so good! There is also Korean drink you can have a taste. Anyway highly recommended 👍

Despite the great reviews and previous experience of good food, I was appalled at my latest customer experience. Having placed an order 2 hours in advance via their online system, when I arrived, the order was not delivered to the restaurant. The customer service in handling my disappointment was extremely poor - the person serving me rang the ordering service to cancel my order (without consulting me) and wanted me to place another order, despite no confirmation on a refund of an almost $100 order. She and the chef laughed at me and spoke to each other another language instead of addressing the mistake made. They refused to acknowledge any error, blaming it on the online system. Surely, any error in their system is something to be addressed later, and dealing with the customer in front of them should take priority - especially given that no fault lay in my order or expectations to have received an order I had made and paid in advance. Left disappointed after discussion led to no resolution and will not be returning again - not because a mistake was made (errors happen), but because of the management of the error and the shameful response and customer service in response to my order having not been received by the restaurant.

As a Korean, I get picky in Korean food and all dishes here are great and taste. Staffs are kind and you can see their genuine services not only from their attitude but from their food. Reasonable prices and definitely value for money

Even though we did takeaway, the quality of food was still excellent. The fried chicken, after waited in the box for more than 40mins, the skin was still lightly crispy, but most importantly, the meat was so so juicy. I haven't had sich good quality Korean for a long time, not to mention it was takeaway... Highly recommended. Will defintiely dine in if around the area.

We were introduced to Kim n Chi by a close friend who raved about the fried chicken. You have to try it to believe it...best KFC in Australia!

Brilliant food , authentic Korean food and very tasty . Also prepared taking into account health benefits and certainly well worth trying. So much better than any Take Away food offered by local overseas franchises . Not expensive when compared to what else is on offer locally in the Boronia area ! More than happy to return any time ! Polite Staff with a genuine smile !

Seafood Bulgogi is an absolute must have. Divine! Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, and food that looks just like the picture and tastes even better - every time.

One of the nicest little Asian restaurant I've ever been to. The food was so fresh and the flavors just right. Service was very personal and helpful, especially if you aren't familiar with Korean style meals. Highly recommend.

We love this restaurant for lunch and dinners. The staff are so friendly and the meals a very tasty and very reasonably priced. We often go there for dinner before going to Metro cinema which is around the corner. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful dinner on Wednesday night. Tried the dumplings, and kim chi spring rolls, both delicioius. Then we had collectively the pork bibimbap, beef bulgogi, and sweet chilli fried chicken. All very tasty and well presented. Owners are very polite, and friendly.

Loved it. My 4 year old son loved it too having three helpings! Great flavour and value.

Really enjoyed our first Korean cuisine experience and it's right on our doorstep. Very healthy and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

What’s better than catching a movie? The awesome food after. And here is where Kim N Chi comes in handy!. If you’re not careful, you might miss this wonderful place. Ensure you get parkig in the mall. We started off with an amazing kimchi pancake (13.90). And it is as good as it looks. It was wonderful, fluffy, if not temperature hot.

This chicken was expensive and very very average. Just had no crunch, to soggy. Also the salad and pickles were old. I think the best korean chicken around knox is from game beer restaurant .

Went with some friends. Interior is pretty plain. Staff are friendly. Because one of my friend doesn’t eat meat, we were limited of what we ordered. Anyway, some of the dishes are really nice. Kimchi pancake has different taste from other restaurants, but very crispy. Chapjae was okay. Tteokbokki has nice spicy sauce. Tried jjajangmyeon for first time and it’s rather bland to me despite of the amount of the sauce (dont know whether jjajangmyeon supposed to taste like that?). The stir fried veggies and tofu was really good. Dumplings were nice too. Overall was pretty happy with the dishes. Would love to come back and try other dishes!

We eat here regularly and it is BY FAR the best in the area. Beautiful, tasty, fresh food. Personal friendly service and well priced meals with BYO option. Everything we have ever ordered has been fantastic. Special mentions to spicy sweet chilli fried chicken, pork bulgogi, kimchi pancake and tofu and vegetables. We love Kim n Chi!

Dined here for the first time the other night. Restaurant was very quiet for a Friday night, but a reasonable amount of take away orders were being filled. Only 2 staff on the floor, one behind counter and the other waitress. And I can only guess there was only 1 chef out the back because our food took FOREVER to come out. But when it did it was worth the wait, everything except the rice was really delicious, the stone bowl and sizzling plates the standout. Nice spice heat and very tasty Korean flavours. The rice was a major let down, really bland and not seasoned at all. Hardly worth serving. Also they are not licensed which sucks as I do love a beer with my dinner. The Very basic non alcoholic drinks on their list just do not cut it. Also the fake plastic bricks on the wall give a cheap and nasty feel to the joint. Could be a really good place with a few little tweaks.

Being a super Korean foodie fan, I have been to a number of Korean restaurants from South Korea to Melbourne CBD and Eastern suburbs. So I have decided to try this place out since it's near to home. I ordered the Kimchi Tchigae (Stew) with pork but turns out there was no meat in it!  The taste of the stew was no doubt tasty that comes along with purple multi grain rice ( i love this one) and side dish was a few pieces of kimchi. Priced at $12.90 for a bowl of stew with bits of meat is way too expensive. Perhaps other dishes might be better off but I certainly won't be looking to order this dish again.

A nice little Korean place out in the east, really enjoy the fresh, tasty food, good portions, quick and easy service. The bibimbap bowls are great. Lots of vegetarian options also.

Real authentic, home-style Korean cooking! The seafood pancake was delicious. Crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside with some fresh ingredients.<br/><br/>Bibimbap was nice but could have done with a bit more meat and rice. Great to find this place all the way out in Boronia.

We ordered the mandoo, 1/2 Korean fried chicken, Soondobu, and Korean pancake encased w sugar and nuts. Oh and the honey ginger tea. We loved everything we had. We'll definitely be back again. Great service too!

Excellent bibimbap and chicken . The staff are lovely and always friendly. Their kimchi is yummy and actually old enough to be a little sour!! Perfect.

I have been visiting Kim n chi for a few weeks now. The staff are always happy and love to see you! The food is delicious, especially the fried chicken and bibimbap! Best Korean food near the hills.

Was super excited to see a Korean place open up here as boronia is lacking in authentic Asian cuisine. We ordered takeaway tonight of the fried chicken wings, bibimbap and japchae. Dishes did not disappoint! All were well seasoned and delicious, ingredients were fresh and they were well done. The chicken wings were crispy without being oily and even after 40 mins they were still crunchy ! I do hope more ppl give this place a try as would hate to see them close.

Why WASNT THIS place full. although slightly hidden off the main road its definitely worth looking out for. <br/>The place itself is basic. Super clean with. Friendly and polite staff who were more than happy ro give some suggestions to our order, making it the perfect meal. <br/>The bimbap bowl . Pork bulgogi were brilliant. The fried chicken in sweet spicy sauce was definitely the winner. <br/>definitely coming back soon. <br/>

We were excited to see a Korean restaurant had opened in the area. We decided to try it out tonight and ordered the Crispy Chicken and Seafood Bulgogi meals. Both meals came with kimchi or salad and an option of white or multi grain rice. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy without being oily. The seafood bulgogi had a generous serving of squid, calamari, prawns and fish with veggies. It was well seasoned and tasted like home cooking. We were both happy with our meals and will be back to try the other dishes.

A+ food and service. Food is very reasonably priced too. Only negative thing is not opening on a Sunday! I hope this restaurant stays around and I'll be sure to be a regular!
