Review Taco Bill Mexican Restaurant - Boronia

Tonight had lovely helpful staff. Half price menu was displayed on the board. Food was good, so second time there was definitely an improvement. First trip several months ago was a 1 star. Maybe new owners.

Extremely disappointed, if there is a zero I would definitely give a zero. Been told that the meal would be ready in 15 minutes but actually waited for 40 minutes. Will tell everyone around not to go here. Ordered 4 hard corn tacos but was given only 2 were hard ones & 2 soft ones. The soft ones are disgusting and they are the worst taco I’ve ever had in my life - now they are in my kitchen bin.

Food was good, service was tired but adequate. The real fail is in the atmosphere. The place feels dingy and somehow grubby. The only reason you'd eat here and not at the other Mexican place nearby os if you were desperate and could get a table at the other place. Expect to come away fed but somehow depressed.

Really disappointed in tonight food, have been coming here for years with the family. The past few weeks the food has gone down hill. Everyone at the table was disappointed in their meal. It's such a shame. Thought it was just once off and thought we would give you another chance.. with no improvement. Rules with ordering food has changed can't alter our meals. Sadly we won't be coming here again.

The place have grouse meals drink and top place to take your family . There are plenty of room to choose from sitting outside or inside nice clean restaurant. Well done taco bills.

Worst experience I’ve had anywhere. Made a booking in advanced, drove 20 minutes, got there at our booked time and the table wasn’t ready, waited 10 minutes for the table to be cleaned. Was seated then waited a further 20 minutes with zero service whilst they took walk-in takeaway orders. Went up to the counter to check if we had to order at the counter, only to be told it was busy (it wasn’t they just had only 1 waiter for a Saturday night and this waiter was inept) and they’d get to us when they could. We left and called Carlos Cantina down the road, booked a table immediately, sat down and had our order taken within seconds. Don’t ever go to this god awful Taco Bill, just go to Carlos Cantina down the road.

Great vibe and friendly service. Food came out hot and margaritas tasted fresh! An easy choice for a fun night out

Gota love taco bills, the mixed dish with one of everything is my favourite, la combination, can't go wrong with one of these beauties! Was here for some takeaway and thought I should add some photos whilst I'm here and can smell the goodness!

Terrible signage on a major road half of the party got lost, you need to fix signage! Sorry staff had to find the corn chips, food great, poor management, staff tried hard, slow service we had a lovely night with family but felt let down overall

The staff were lovely however, the food was average the sauce was way spicier then any taco bill I have been to and my boyfriend had some chicken tacos and ended up with food poisoning. Will not be coming back to boronia, will keep going to our local Mexican places.

As far as taco bills go, this one is fantastic! The food definitely had a quality other taco bills don't and the service is very good. Our waitress, Lisa, ensured we were well looked after. Definitely coming back regularly.

Been going for over 20 years been amazing BUT this time it wasn't. 8 off us including 3 kids got there at 6.30 took 20 minutes for a drink then got it spilled on me but the waitress was very sorry it was a accident all good. We have to tell the waitress we were ready around 7 o'clock and she wasn't overly excited about serving us because she said she was busy. She took our order and then come back twice to ask the same question. So about 7.50 we ask another waitress Maddie if she could find out when our meal was coming. We got told about half a hour so it would've been around 8.30 for our meals so 2 hours after getting there. Maddie was fantastic compared to the first waitress she was so apologetic saying she was sorry but unfortunately we walked out without eating and went up to Crave and got our meals within 20 minutes. Very disappointed with Taco Bill now not sure if we will be back.

The waitress that was on at 5.30 was amazing so efficient, pleasant, helpful, she was so nice to everyone. A very smart young girl a definite asset to the restaurant.

Booked for 5 people a week ago. When we got there they jam packed us and all the other patrons in a corner. I asked to move and the owner did not seem happy. Nobody bothered to check on our drinks. There were 2 women who stood behind the bar who were talking about their eyebrows while we were waiting for service. The young male waiter ran around doing everything including answering the phone. Bad service and will NEVER go back unless management changes. I can see why only Max 4 tables were occupied and the rest were unoccupied on a Friday night. The decor looked so tired.

Very good and excellent service we arrived early for out booking and we were still able to be seated.

What an absolute disgrace of a restaurant the waiters were rude and disrespectful, the food was horrendous I orded beef combination and it tasted like tuna absolute shithouse and waste of money

I had ordered online. It arrived. It was DISGUSTING. I have been a long visitor of tacobills and have loved the food. Tonight was a disgrace. My food was stale. When i called. I was offered a replacement. But after the disgusting food i never want to eat there again. So i asked if i could get a refund or a partial refund. Only to be told that the boss wasnt there and would be back in a week or so and for ME TO CALL BACK THEN! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. BETTER OFF GOING TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT

I went there with Sharon tonight to get some takeaway and I had the Beef Fajitas with Cheese and Sharon had 2 Fish Tacos. The staff were kind to us and the service was terrific but they forgot the Chocolate Mousse and the Sour Cream.

We visited Taco Bill using one of my friends seemingly endless supply of 25% off vouchers. This was a new venue for us as I realised Boronia is slightly closer for me than the Blackburn location. I suppose it’s a family friendly restaurant but the presence of children was a lot more pronounced that the city franchise we generally frequent. <br/><br/>Regardless of that the food was fine although admittedly it didn’t arrive quite as vibrant as it appears on the menu photos! I had a chicken quesadilla which was yummy and I would order it again should my friend never branch out of this restaurant chain and I find myself back again which I undoubtedly will

Was excited for some tacos and nachos after a hard evening and got there at 9pm to give ample time for kitchen as its advertised to close at 10pm. Arrived in store for a girl with bad customer service telling us kitchen is closed. Really made me mad, please don't advertise a closing time when you will close earlier - I believe you are a franchise; I wonder if your higher up know you are skimping work early. Disappointing and won't be going back to a store run so slack.

I love Taco Bill. The Boronia restaurant was particularly good. I had the fajitas, which were really tasty. Good serving size. Staff were friendly and attentive. Big restaurant with heaps of space. Definitely recommend this restaurant over the Lilydale Taco Bill - much better service.

We went to Taco bill last friday night staff are very friendly and help full the food was ok certainly dont go if your michelin star quality but for quick feed with the kids it serves its purpose.

Had recently had a bad experience at a different taco bill, but gave it another go here at boronia, the staff were polite and extremely helpful and great! Food was fresh came out quick and tasted how it should!<br/>I will be back here for sure!!

Amazing service great food . A bit difficult to find but worth the search. There was only one waiting staff and it was almost closure time. But they were so professional .

Went here not expecting much. Went here due to half price. Value was awesome. We paid $105 for 5 mains including 2 x fajita. Also we had a large nachos. Value is one thing, taste is another. I have not been here for a long time, however suitably impressed. Simple food done well;)

It was a bit hard for us to find the place . We thought it was along the arcade , but actually it was in the small alley . We almost walk passed by just because it was dark . Food was good . A different choice for take away .

Very happy. Had an absolute ball the other night at Taco Bill's here in Boronia. Once again the food & service was fantastic, hence the reason we keep coming back. Many a great night had here :) Thanks guys once again for such great service it makes the night even more enjoyable. Great service is very rare these days so keep up the good work.

Not a good experience at all,we arrived snd were seated quickly in a table near the corner then it started.No one came to take our drinks order for a good 15 min so we had to call for a waiter then the same with entree so we thought it may be best to order everything at once incase they didn't come back.Food tasted ok but no where near as nice as our local Beaconsfield Taco Bill.The floor staff do not even work the floor they just stand behind the bar talking and I had to get up and ask for more drinks as there was no service...Will never go back andcthey need to seriously update the interior as it's not even mexican themed hardly...

Not worth it. We've been here a number of times, but after our last visit we will not be returning.<br/><br/>The food is as expected from any Taco Bill chain. It's beany, cheesy, heavy and greasy, but sometimes that's just what you have a craving for! But next time that craving hits, we'll head to another one of the many chains to get our fix.<br/><br/>Service every time has been fairly disinterested and lacklustre, but it never really bothered us too much because, well... it's Taco Bill! You don't really expect too much from them.<br/><br/>On our last visit, we booked for a larger group but arrived to find that we were crammed onto two tiny tables. The tables weren't big enough to fit the menus properly, let alone plates of food! As we were getting fajitas plus dishes to share, we asked if we could either be moved to the front area or another table added. The kid who served us wanted to help, but was told from the manager that there was nothing they could do to help us. We were just left with no apology, and to basically sit in each others laps for the meal. As predicted, when our meals came, the table was crammed full and we were continuously bumping elbows. Not exactly pleasant!<br/><br/>I understand that it was a busy night (Tuesday specials) but the way in which it was handled and the utter lack of care was what really spoilt our night.

The food was just a can of refried beans in medium heat in flatbread. The waitresses didn't help or assist and were completely disinterested. I truly mean it when I say I'm never going there again. I would rather eat from the disease filled souvlaki shop two doors up than give my money to this establishment. And I'm generally one to give people a second chance.

Seriously, where is the service?. Wow! What a total disaster of a night! Food, average. Its average Mexican at best. We ordered a Burrito and Fajitas, the Burrito was ok, simple, yet Mexican as expected. The Fajitas however, terrible.. Seriously where was the meat. First it was no beef available after a long wait, then onto a plate of onion and a small amount of capsicum and so little chicken you had to search for it. Only half the meal was delivered so my partner ate off the plate without any tortillas. Service was absolutely non existent. Every complaint was met with a "I'll talk to the manager" from the waiter and fulfilled by ignoring us? Hmm... AVOID! Oh yeah, want to use the bathroom? Ask the bar staff and they will escort you outside of the restaurant to the toilet with a key, what a pleasurable dining experience!

Staff just ignored us when we walked in, waited for a table. Took a seat ourselves, waited for a menu. And waited. Had to actually get up and find one. Didn't get order taken until one of us actually waived down a staff member, as they were too busy playing games and chatting behind the bar. Food was ok but service was the poorest I've had for years. We weren't the only ones there that night who were unhappy either. Only go there if you've got a whole lot of patience and a lot of time to kill... cos you will be waiting.

Good value. Taco Bill Boronia always have good deals - half-price meals on Monday or Tuesday and half-price margaritas on Fridays. <br/>I have been there several times over the past few years and always leave full. I generally have the combination and it is always great; you get a little bit of everything to try. The food's good and the service is too.<br/><br/>The only problem I have had there was when trying to use vouchers printed off their website. Last time, my voucher was rejected because it said that I could use two per table, but the version the manager had received said only one could be used. Luckily I also had a different one, which they did accept. Next time I will offer my voucher before ordering.

Yum. I love Taco bill and always walk away satisfied with the food. The only down fall is the cost of it. For what appears to be a run of the mill restaurant the prices are quite high.
