Review Kerrimuir Noodle Bar - Box Hill

Quite a few good dishes but some can be too noodle heavy (just gotta know what to order). Dim Sims are top notch, large serving size!!

Missing items. Ordered spicy. Not spicy whatsoever. Used to be good, don’t know what’s happened.

The last 2 times we ordered noodles for them have been mistakes made. Asked for vegetarian and there were prawns, second time asked for Singapore noodles and it came with teriyaki sauce.

Taste is average. on the other hand too much oily food and they use lot of ingredients to make it more tasty. Not good for health for sure but portion wise and price wise I can recommend.

Awful service and awful food! The moment I walked in the workers were talking in Chinese (Mandarin) and the female worker told the older male that she felt awkward standing there waiting for my husband and I to decide on our order. We actually felt awkward to even place our order knowing that she was talking about us in a language I understand right in front of us...but they carried on so I threw a glance at the old guy hoping it would send a message, but no, he later told the female worker I glared at him. So I intervened before this got even more out of hand and told the female worker I could understand what they were saying about us and she then pretended that they were not talking about us but were talking about herself. They then shut up and stopped talking. At that point I wanted to leave, but given it was already late and we were pretty hungry we just went ahead and ordered. I ended up with a half cooked curry puff and a disgusting sloppy char kway teow. This is the first and last time I'll be going to this place.

Highly recommend this place, we have been regularly ordering food from this store for the last 3 years, my husband and our two boys absolutely love them ( my kids are very fussy about food), and the portion is huge that even my husband can not finish one bowl by himself. The price is very cheap for the size of their service.

often not wearing masks! hit and miss, but some nice food they’re really mixed with their mask usage though BEWARE of placing an order before going to check if they’re wearing masks. would order from here more but the bad C*VID safe practices prevent us from doing so. please get better with this!

My supreme noodles were very good!

I tried Nadi Goreng for the first time here, and it is AWESOME! The flavours are incredible. Will definitely be getting it again from Kerrimuir Noodle Bar. Also, their dumplings are really good too!

We recently returned here for take away and got the Singaporean fried noodles and the Beijing noodles. Both were good, but the Beijing noodles was a stand out. It was tasty and had a lot of ingredients.

My absolute favourite place for fried rice and noodles! Their signature fried rice is delicious and so is their special fried rice. Also love their Mongolian noodles. Never a bad experience. Been going here for years!

Friendly staff and fast service. We had take away meal from here. We had fried rice and sweet sour pork and noodle and also they gave us free prawn cracker and corn soup. It was reasonable price and generous size and was tasty.

I love this noodle bar! Great tasting dishes at reasonable prices. The serving sizes are generous as well. Definitely recommend getting takeout sometime 👍

Great food, no wonder there was a wait when we arrived! I will definitely be back, loved it. Selection was great and the portion sizes perfect even had good left over which is a bonus

I used to go to kerrimuir noodles at least once per week for the past 10 years. I was overall happy with their food, however for the past year, i have only gone their when im really desperate because they have been getting really cheap with their vegetables.<br/><br/>I now have to order my hot box and have to enforce extra vegetables.<br/>Please note: i order vegetarian hotbox noodles and always get charged and extra $3 for a couple of extra pieces of carrot and broccoli. Mind you i always say no meat and half noodles, whixh you would think they would not charge me extra for removing all the other items, but no, they charge extra.<br/>Its ridiculous.<br/>Also, their prawn cracker bags are only have the size that they used to be, and still the same price.<br/><br/>Also, they dont cater for kids.<br/>I keep having to buy a large box of noodles for $15 , cause all my kid eats it veggies and i again only ask for half noodles but extra veggies, and they charge like wounded bulls.<br/><br/>Keep away if you like you vegetables, cause they will try to rip you off if you ask for extra veggies.

Stopped in here for lunch last week and ordered the Hot Box. Very generous serving size, loads of meat and veggies in a very tasty sauce. Had a good amount of chilli kick to it.<br/><br/>Only bad thing was the amount of water I was drinking all afternoon......literally litres to slake my thirst. Their menu does say "No MSG" but I suspect they do use it!

Lovely people, food always tastes and smells amazing , quick service even when it's rush hour on a Friday night! Highly recommend the king prawn noodles

Very well priced for the massive portion size. Reasonably tasty however the meal with XO sauce needs more kick as there really wasn't any spice at all. The other meal ordered was teriyaki chicken and that was a pretty good as well. The staff were friendly and the meals were made in record time. I'm happy to add this to the takeaway options.

Amazing noodles. The noodles from this place are absolutely amazing and the best take away I've ever had. The price is also very reasonable. There is a large variety to choose from and everything I've tried so far is delicious!

Fast Fresh and Filling. Stopped for a quick bite for lunch. Singapore noodles were delish. Full of flavour and very authentic.<br/><br/>Char Keow Chow was also delicious. A teeny bit 'saucy' but nonetheless very pleasant.<br/><br/>Serves were very generous. We took the leftovers home for later.<br/><br/>Nice to be able to sit and read a paper over lunch.

Signature fried rice was well cooked and very nice to eat. It could benefit from a better sauce option. Also the price is a bit of a hit to the hip pocket.

Fab and fast. We love this place, always delicious, super fast and fresh!<br/>We walk in off the street and they always have our dinner ready to go in 10 minutes. <br/>We love the seafood laksa, the mee goreng and can't wait to come back again!<br/>Recommended!!

This place has gone downhill. Change of ownership or just cooks? Simple fried rice tonight was scant on anything except rice. Dug my way through hunting for anything resembling vegetables, was excited when I found a piece of cabbage or onion. Peas were dried out. Cant be too hard to make this stuff.

I ordered the chicken laksa .. It was basically all laksa broth and dodgy chicken pieces that were the bums of the chickens (parsons nose) and hardly any noodles .. Yuk

Never had a bad bowl of noodles from here. I've tried many a place and Kerrimuir is always consistently good.

This place is awful. Dont bother unless u r desperate for a feed. Micky Ds is much better! Waaaay too oily and salty.

Love this place. Delicious fresh noodle bowls that feed two unless you're a huge eater or very hungry in which case you might need a whole one. Either way still great value. They put heaps of meat, veg etc they don't skimp. YUM

Ok noodles .... The noodles were of a very generous size and tasted pretty good, nothing special though. It would have been better if they got my order right, i asked for no capsicum in my seafood with oyster sauce noodles but they also then didn't put in any snow peas or onion, but they did add cauliflower which isn't on the menu! It only took about 5 mins to make my order but thats probably because the veggies were a bit undercooked, personally i prefer them cooked through a bit more.

I like their Beijing noodle! The serving is big. They are also give you something for free for every three visit. This is Best noodle shop around the area.

Ok food. Ordered vegetarian noodle soup the other day, got home, and I had a bowl of noodles...no water. Tried to give feedback, they werent interested. Won't be going back.

Not sure what everyone is raving about. It's just a typical standard take away place. <br/><br/>Reviewers fail to mention the lunch deal which gave this place such a high %. Lunch is $10.80 which incl. A list of noodles + drink + dim sim, of course it will attract a high percentage of reviewers.

Scrumpdidliumpious!. Food here is fast, fresh and absolutely delicious and the serving size is enought for two! Best of all, you get great customer service. I must say their home made dim sims and dumplings are the best in the area and are definitely worth a try.

Fast and fresh. Love this place! the service is excellent and the food is always so delicious. Great variety of asian dishes that are made fresh to order where you can see them make it in front of you. The servings are quite large and you can feed two people off one serving for just $10.

Absolutely LOVE this noodle bar. Staff a sooo friendly, dishes are delish - they don't skimp on ingredients. This the best noodle bar I've had in Melbourne and I have been to many! 10/10!
