Review Mcdonald's Family Restaurants - Box Hill

Worst McDonald’s ever. What I ordered was Big Mac meal, the burger was as small as Quarter Pounder. Chips taste it has been ready for hours. So disappointed!! Never buy from this branch again!!

I never really write bad reviews but this was a weird experience. The staff were nice but the actual service was pretty bad. Usually I check my bag to see if everything is in there but I was in a rush this time and didn’t bother checking my drink. When I got home I realised that I was given a half filled frozen coke. WHAT!!!! The chips were also half filled which was sad. Unfortunately this happens a lot with Maccas... but never have I ever received a half filled drink before 😅

They always got my order wrong. Last time they forgot to put an entire burger for my order. Then they also used regular milk even though I paid extra for SOY latte. They also wouldn’t fill my chips properly. Even though I ordered large it felt like I ordered small instead. I’d order 24 nuggets but didn’t really get 24 in total. Sometimes sauces are also not given even though I’ve requested them specifically! Imagine being back home excited to eat only to find out some orders have gone missing or wrongly made. It’s also hard to double check sometimes as I always got drive through and there’d always be a line at the back. I really hope you can improve by double checking EVERY order next time!!

Over a 20 minute wait for 2 quarter pounder meals. While other order that were placed 10 - 15 minutes after were received. As well as drive thru while 6 people are waiting on their orders in store. How about you prioritise actually serving customers inside as well instead of ‘cleaning’ the coffee bench for 5 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. No apology or anything. To add to the disaster of service. Cold food. You’d expect after 20 minutes of waiting. HOT food.

I ordered a few items for the sick people in the house. This McDonald's stuffed up pretty bad, resulting in me going back there two times. They were careless and there were not even a line in the drive through or inside. First because the McChicken was missing. Second, my kid who is in iso, realised that his apple pie was missing. SOOO I had to go back there again. Chips were stale and cold too. They should have been replaced. Overall disappointing dinner tonight. Worst experience I have ever had. DOUBLE CHECK, TRIPLE CHECK your order to safe yourselves from going back and forth Waste of time

Literally a hit or miss. While the staff are friendly, it's unfortunately just a repetitive cycle of orders being missed out, from missing nuggets and sauces, to completely forgetting a cheeseburger and large fries. Quite a disaster I must say. Make sure to always check your order in case they forget something! Update 2: missed my soft drink this time! Keep it up!

Of course customer’s fault, McDonald’s staffs never make mistakes. Never feel sorry to customers.Please keep the missing Happy Meal and wish u happy.

Ordered a mcchicken meal. The burger was so good! It was fresh, and the patty was crunchy. <br/>The chips however even though they came out of the fryer immediately weren't golden and were a bit limp. <br/>A good meal but not amazing

Second time in a week to try the index coffee and an easter hot cross bun. Like the last one it was pretty tasty. So I’ll give Maccas something - they are consistent. The iced cofeee was a good size and I used my own straw which is permanently with me so I don’t have to use one. <br/>The coffee was a reasonable taste and not overly sweet. <br/>Staff were friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly.

5 in the front, with only 2 customers (myself included) and not a single one of them were competent enough to even realise I had a coffee order. The manager was busy (understandable) and the rest of them were just hanging out doing nothing. Your manager can't do everything and the customers shouldn't have to ask your trainer to tell you to be aware of orders. There's a difference between untrained & ignorant cos you're not paying attention to your job. No one should have to wait 20 mins for a small coffee

Average coffee and not to mention I had to wait 10 minutes wasn't too impressed I needed a latte desperately when I visited this area. The milk wasn't frothy at all, not really that impressed.

I am being a tad hypocritical reviewing maccas after sledging others for doing so but their latest announcement is something I am so excited for. I come to the Box Hill restaurant when a feel a tad peckish on my commute home. Their app lets me order when we’ve just left Mont Albert Station and my order will be ready without a wait by the time I’ve arrived at box hill. I’m a classic burger range kinda guy and will often sneak a McDouble or cheeseburger for the walk home. Best news I’ve heard is their recent announcement to run their classic burger range all day. I hated that you couldn’t order burgers in the breakfast slot and am so glad they’ve made this improvement. McLovin it.

Just like any classic Maccas restaurant, it is good to have if you are in a hurry or if you are looking to be cheeky for cheap. Any normal,Maccas fan will enjoy this.
